Rates

£65/hour (up to 4 hours), £55/hour (5 hours and above).

Minimum booking: 2 hours unless at my home.
Contact me to discuss rates for multi-day trips.

Travel costs: I need travel costs (and accommodation if necessary) to be covered.

Home location: It is possible to work at my home, a small and modest venue with some artistic possibilities, for £5/hour.

Alternative compensation: with enough advanced planning I can reduce or waive my fee in exchange for a number of days' accommodation, the use of a location/studio for my own arrangements - or some combination of these things, so let's barter...

Cancellation fee: I do charge a cancellation fee as a safety measure for me. For a cancellation within 24 hours I'll need the full agreed-upon fee. For cancellations within a week I'll need half the agreed-upon fee. For cancellations with more than a week's notice I'll ask that you pay a minimum of one hour's worth of shooting time at my standard rate at the time of booking, which can then be deducted from our rescheduled shoot. In the unlikely case of my cancelling a shoot I'll reimburse any advance payments or travel costs.

Booking me:

~ If possible, please send me information about the date, location, theme of the shoot, links to your work and references, and reasons for wanting to work with me.

~ I appreciate informative but concise communications, well in advance of the proposed shoot date, but occasionally fate might throw us together on a last minute opportunity.

~ I can't always reply straight away. This is because I have to spread my attention between different online platforms. But if you're serious about working with me, don't let this put you off. Some of my very best collaborators took years to track me down!

~ I usually only take paid bookings, but you can still propose TF and offer a certain number of full size, edited images. Things that will tempt me to TF: costumes, designers, pro hair & make-up team, high-end retouching and photomanipulation, print publication, or the opportunity to practice - with experts - some of the following: film acting, high fashion, bridal. I have a 'shoots for me wishlist' on Pinterest.

~ travel: if you'd like me to travel a long way to shoot with you, rather than saying 'if you're ever heading my way...' please go ahead and book me for a particular date (even if just in pencil) so that I can plan a trip around it. Every tour has to start with a booking.

Body hair policy:

Armpits: I'm taking an indefinite break from armpit hair in 2024.

Pubes: I have pubic hair by default but can shave it for a shoot for £50.
