Zara Watson

I always say that it is a dream come true for me whenever I have shot with a great model for the first time. Zara Watson is no exception.

Whilst I was on a shoot with SammyG in July 2015, I asked her, as is my wont, if there were any models in particular whom she would like to see featured in my portfolio. She listed several names and she stunned me with her inclusion of Zara Watson as I thought a shoot with her would simply never happen for me.

Not long after that, I again passed this on to Ponyo who exitedly implored "Yes!! Book Zara!!". I was also given the blessing of Stefano Brunesci when I had told him in passing that I had booked Zara.

Talk about the mountain coming to Mohammed! I didn't have to wait very long before an unexpected opportunity came my way, and the beauty of it was that Zara put up a casting which took in South Wales where I live.

The day finally arrived on 11th February 2016 after two months of pre shoot communications, and I was so exited that I caught a train which was scheduled to arrive one hour before we were due to meet. Just as it pulled into her station, the bloody doors got stuck!

Of course, the day ended very happily with a hugely successful shoot.

I cannot write these notes without mentioning both LRMason and Stephen Perrywho kindly offered Zara and I the use of their home studios, and I would personally like to thank them for all their invaluable assistance and input. They didn't have to, but, like Zara, they gave me as much time as they felt that I needed and were always on hand for me.

In addition to Zara, LMason and Stephen, I would also like to thank Loz Williams from Express Imaging who is very often deeply passionate about my work and, like her fellow staff members, is also giving of her time in helping me make the final selection of images as in this album.
