A couple of years ago in Hamburg, Germany

I created a new style: Grey key! I like b&w-work in low key or high key. A variation: I call it grey key. A (light) grey background. This gives you two dimensions, like drawing on grey cardboard: You draw in grey or black with pencil or charcoal, but additional you can set highlights in white.
