From our Ecuador tour 2007:
Ruth is not her own name, we Europeans called her so.
She is a Ketshua-girl from the Amazonas-Region.
She is an acquaintance of our guide and was invited by him to travel with us in our bus through Ecuador to learn about her own country, rare opportunity for a poor Ketshua. Father alcoholic, low education level, no job... Our guide tried to find a job for her, I don't know, if he succeeded.
