I spent the weekend at Barlow studio & I think it is absolutely fantastic.

As soon as I entered the building I was amazed, they have so many different sets & props that will keep you busy for hours, you will never get bored when working here.

I would honestly say it was one of the best studios that I have ever had the pleasure of working in, George has done a good job.

Not only was the place nice but the owner was also very welcoming to everyone who visited and made sure I was fed and watered on my breaks.

Thank you for looking after me whilst I was staying with you.

I do hope you will have me back :)

I've been to Barlow Studio quite a few times always made welcome and tea/coffee is always being offered, the studio is so diverse what sort of shoot you can do their weather it's a motorbike shoot or something with loads of candles, fog machine, there many, many more possibilities that can be easily acomodated. George is always able to offer advice how to light something it's good having someone well experienced always on hand. I will be always using Barlows for my shoots.

Where do i start the studio was beyond my expectations as it was my first time i thought will it be good or not but i can honestly say i will be using it again it has so much to offer and did in buckets. George was so helpful when i needed help in moving or doing something. The attention to detail was brilliant even to just get the right kind of light, booked in again before i left for another shoot so see you again soon

I had a wonderful time modelling at the fantastic Barlow studios, which is certainly one of the best studios that I had the pleasure at working in.

The studio is extremely spacious, very well equipped- with every themed set you could have asked for, clean, warm, and totally recommended for everyone to shoot in!

There is also a lovely, private, changing area for the models with worktops and large mirrors for prepping makeup and hair. :)

My studio day was organized at the highest standards, with regular updates and perfect communication. I was treated with the biggest respect and looked after to my best comforts and needs throughout the days.

George, the studio owner is also a brilliant host, who is always there to help out when needed.

I cannot recommend the studio highly enough and I very much hope I get the chance to come back sometime soon again!

I worked at a group shoot at Barlow last month organised by the lovely studio owner George. I have worked at Barlow a few times in the past (first time at a group shoot organised by george this time) and have always enjoyed it. The studio is really spacious and has some great sets and equipment and is in a beautiful location. George made me feel very welcome and made sure I was ok throughout the shoot and communication beforehand was excellent. I highly reccomend this studio and George, thanks for a great shoot :)

Once again, many thanks to George Davison for making a day's shooting at Barlow such a pleasure. George had repainted the white cove, and introduced new sets. And George was great at setting up backgrounds and lights, never complaining however often he was asked.

I attended a first ever group studio day here, and had a great day. This was in part down to George and his studio. He was friendly and always on hand if needed, but just as happy to let everyone get on with stuff if not.

As for the actual studio, well I don't really have any frame of reference - but there was lots of variety that I imagine would cater for most people. I counted at least 8 distinct themed areas in this spacious set of converted barns. I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to studio equipment, and so couldn't tell you what was good and what wasn't, but there was plenty of it, and tons of props too!

All in all, a fun day was had and I'd definitely go back there again.

Attended the Studios for a charity event and as per usual was greeted with the have you had a drink yet from George, great atmosphere there the place is constantly changing allowing for new photo opportunities for photographers and models, lots of lovely space, great equipment and a never ending supply of tea/coffee for customers. Highly recommended studio with everything that you need to get superb pictures with your models. A+++ in my view. Highly recommended.

I once again had the absolute pleasure of working at Barlow Studio, but on this occasion I was invited to model for an evening group shoot! As always George was extremely accommodating, making sure I knew where everything was, happy to make tea or coffee for me, and explained how the evenings are ran. I regularly work group shoots, and at least once in the evening something won't go to plan, but everything ran smoothly throughout the three hours, not only that but I truly enjoyed the evening as well, everyone that attended was polite and cheerful making the evening a complete success. I can easily and highly recommend the studio, it's always warm, versatile, and above all a jolly good laugh.

Thanks again George for this opportunity, and I look forward to the next time!

Had yet another lovely shoot at Barlow Studios today, George was kind enough to pick me up from the station for my shoot. I love working at BS, it's clean, has versatile rooms, great changing area, and George can make cracking coffee. I can't recommend this studio highly enough, I can't wait for my group shoot in two weeks!

Just noted that its been a while since I left a reference for Barlow Studios so here goes,

Its always a pleasure to work at the studios, george has the door always open so that you can get in and make yourself feel settled before any shoot. The group shoots and the individual model days are well run and organised so that everyone gets a fair crack of the whip with the model and you are assured of privacy when working on a one to one basis.

The studio is constantly changing so that you always will come away with some great images, lots of little corners and places to shoot so that you could shoot all day and not use the same backdrop.

Models are well looked after with their own private (Yep no photographers allowed) changing room with all the usual features to allow them to look their best for shoots. Plenty of space to hang up gear, spread out and and extra door to enter the studio away from the reception area.

Just a word on the reception area, made with the photographer and comfort in mind it has plenty of seats so that you can relax and enjoy the shoot, tea and coffee provided by George is always on hand so you are assured of a warm welcome.

A great studio and highly recommended to all photographers both experienced and beginner alike.

Located in a beautiful rural setting this is a great studio with fantastic facilities. George is an impressive guy - very welcoming and accommodating, offering cups of tea and any assistance I needed. There are a wide range of backgrounds, lights, props and sets on offer - any photographer will be spoilt for choice.

I shot at Barlow Studio for the first time yesterday, and I hope it's the first of many! What a fabulous studio, private dressing room with fresh flowers, two mirrors, good lighting, dressing table and chair. As for the studio set ups there is a fabulous eternity wall perfect for art nudes, fashion, or dance shots, a pink brick glamour wall, bedroom set with a wardrobe, a sitting room scene, a large rustic brick wall, a black wall and floor set, and of course the wet room which is amazing and even better you can choose how hot or cold you want the water! Such a groovy studio is of course owned and ran by a very groovy man, George is an absolute sweetheart and I felt relaxed and comfortable from start to finish, and he can make a cracking cup of tea. I can highly recommend George and his lovely studio.

Great studio to work in with an owner who just lets you get on to do your own thing but is always ready to help if you have a problem or need a cuppa.

i did my first shoot at Barlow Studio yesterday, was met by a nice chap named George had a cuppa tea, a local model arrived whom i had a very good shoot with, the sets at Barlow are very good especially the stonewall and the wet room shower set.

I recommend anybody doing a shoot at Barlow you will get some great shots.
