Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Nigel came to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with studio owner Leanne, Miss C.

It was a pleasure to welcome Nigel to Basford, all pre comms were great and the shoot was very easy to organise.

During the shoot Nigel was incredibly respectful of our location and the model Miss C. He made sure to ask if he ever needed anything and was always polite, friendly and easy to have around.

We would absolutely reccomend Nigel to others and we hope to welcome him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you Nigel!!

Having shot with Nigel 4 years ago at an organised event on the south coast, I was absolutely thrilled when he messaged me to ask about organising another shoot up at my new location Basford Hurst Cottage.

All pre comms with Nigel were great, everything was easily organised and Nigel gave me some ideas of the styles he wanted to shoot. Nigel arrived on time at Basford with everything he needed and after a quick cuppa and a chat we began shooting. During our time we worked through some different sets including fashion, boudoir and nude. Nigel allowed me to pose freely but also gave me direction as needed. We both worked together to create many beautiful images and the back of the camera looked amazing!!

Time with Nigel absolutely flew by, he is polite, friendly and really interesting to talk to. It was such a pleasure to see him and catch up and I would highly reccomend him. Thanks so much Nigel, looking forward to seeing the images!! :D

Was great to finally shoot with Nigel at Fareham Studios yesterday. Pre-comms were fantastic, Nigel has a relaxed style to shoots which allowed us to chat in between shooting. The time flew by and we managed to make great use of the studio in the 2 hours we had. Nigel's shoot ideas were fantastic and it was great to shoot a variety of styles.

A highly professional and talented photographer who I hope I get the chance to work again with in the future.

We worked through a wide range of sets, we flew through these sets and Nigel made me feel at complete ease!

What a joy it has been to shoot with Nigel today - we met at his beautiful house in Reading where we first chatted over coffee about what we planned to shoot - but also chatted about lots of other things - what an interesting person he is - I could have sat there just chatting xx

But… we went out to Reading Abby ruins ( what an interesting place) where we took some pics of casual fashion which was really fun to do - Nigel was great at showing me the back of camera images - I was impressed on how intuitive he is with the light and so the back of camera images looked great!!

We then headed back to his home where we shot a bit of art nude and some casual looks in the sitting room. From what I could see there are some really cool images captured - which is really exciting.

Nigel is a star ⭐️ a kind and genuine person who I instantly warmed to and felt comfortable with. I would 100 percent recommend and I already can’t wait to have the chance to shoot together again xx

I had a lovely shoot with Nigel a few weeks back while I was up in Berkshire area. Nigel took me to a lovely castle location near Newbury. Although it was a little busy when we got there we were able to get some super images and the light was also perfect for what we were shooting. Nigel is the perfect gent and I always enjoy his company whenever we shoot.

I had a fantastic shoot with Nigel on my tour in December.

Nigel booked me for four hours and took me too a beautiful forest for some quick images (as it was cold that day) and I loved the location and what we did there. After about 45 minutes we left for Neon Dreams studio and continued our shoot there. Nigel is so lovely to talk to, work with and spend time around.

I highly recommend him and I look forward to another shoot!

I had the pleasure of working with Bus Driver for the first time over the weekend.

The shoot had been planned for months and I had high hopes due to the fantastic impression I was given via pre coms.

Well, the shoot exceeded expectations by far. He was genuinely a delight to be around and I could have happily spent all day just chatting and listening to his stories - a very interesting man indeed. On top of that, he is a super talented photographer. So much so that we have a bit of a problem with liking every single photo that was taken!

I finally had my second shoot with the wonderful Nigel - we shot about 4 years ago and have been wanting to shoot together again ever since but it just hadn’t happened until yesterday - absolutely worth the wait!

Nigel is from his first message, very obviously a lovely gentleman, kind and polite, and makes you feel very comfortable before even meeting him. Even though we hadn’t shot for 4 years, he remembered some personal details which was a lovely touch, and we ended up spending almost half the shoot just having a lovely natter and catch up :-)

Aside from being the perfect gentleman, Nigel is (as you can see from his portfolio) very talented, passionate and a great photographer not only in skill level but also because he knows when to stand back and let the model do her thing which is very helpful as our poses and expressions are always more natural when moving in our own way :-)

Thank you so much again Nigel, I can’t wait for our next shoot! Very highly recommended indeed!

I have had a few shoots with Nigel over the years and most recently at Inspire studio and as always it was an absolute joy to work with this true gentleman.

Nigel makes you feel comfortable and at ease straight away and is kind, professional and fun to work with and he is also a brilliant photographer! Nigel has hands down taken some of my favourite images of me over the years, with the most recent a beautiful portrait taken at Inspire.

We had an amazing time at Waverley Abbey ruins, with a particularly lucky warm and sunny day for us to get a good range of themes.
