John is a gentleman and a total professional, as well as being a very talented photographer.

Had a wonderful shoot today with John, In his very well equipped studio!! He was very kind, patient and understanding with me, perfect for a newbie like myself!! Very nice and chilled morning, with some great photos out of it!

I had a refresher tutorial; with John. I have to say it was really helpful and was run at my pace with plenty of time for discussion and explanation as well as a push from John when necessary. The studio is immaculate well equipped and easy to find.Highly recommended

John was one of many photographers to shoot me on a photographic trip in Cyprus. We shared a really fun packed and interesting 6 days together as part of a group and I enjoyed every minute, especially shooting with John. He is a quality over quantity man - just how I like it. He knows what he wants and gives good direction but is also extremely willing to have the model participate and persue - again, just how I like it! John certainly comes reccomended, should you be lucky enough to have the chance and I most certainly hope I get the chance again.

What an absolute pleasure to have John with us on the photography trip I organised in Cyprus!

He is an amazing photographer and to get the right photo he even went in the sea with me!

John doesn't settle for anything less than the perfect photo! Very considerate about everyone else on the trip, helping others when needed.

First time working with John at Close Up studios, and won't be the last.

His studio was very large, and accommodating.

He was very professional was very polite and worked through each shot with ease, no matter what idea was thrown at him, John executed each idea and communicated with Andreia so well the poses spoke for them-self.

It was great teamwork that never stopped. The images of each day was so superb I can't wait to see each final image

I highly recommend John to all talented creatives for a amazing shoot.

I shot at johns studio today, he's an absolutely lovely guy... Such a gentlemen..he looked after me and the photographer brilliantly.. Keeping us filled up with coffee, tea and water.. I highly recommend his studio and his photography to all..

I'm looking forward to finally working with him in the next couple of weeks ... His pictures are beautiful

I've been shooting with john since 2011 he is a brilliant excellent photographer and my favourite knows exactly what to get and the pictures are perfect 100 percent, the studio is a nice set up big and wide with lots of space and even a nice dressing room. I couldn't recommend john more than I can express talented hard working and generally all around fabulous person thank you john for 4 good years and may it continue :) x

My first shoot at this studio, but I am sure I will be back! John was extremely helpful, both in the preliminary attempts to find a date to suit the mode, myself and the studio, and at the shoot itself. That makes so much difference and I felt really welcome. Help with the lighting on what was my first pregnancy shoot helped to create some lovely images. Thank you, John. Highly recommended.

I had another shoot in CloseUpStudio a couple of days before, this time John was the photographer. It was a shoot for a handbag designer and it was great!!I absolutely love working with John, he is a true professional and he makes great cups of coffee as well - Bonus!

If I would have to chose the most experienced photographer with a great studio he would definitely be my first option!!

He was such a good host,good communication before the shoot... he was really good at giving direction to the photographer that I've worked with!

His studio is great, everything you can think of is there,all professional equipment a 10/10 studio!

Had my first shoot in a long time at Johns studio in Stalbridge, and as always he was the complete professional. Put me completely at ease, and his direction and expertise in lighting helped me get some cracking shots. Totally reccomended

What can i say amazing photographer, really lovely bloke,he makes you feel like you have known him for years, he is very professional, i learnt so much and we have got some very strong images!
