I had a great 2.5 hour shoot with Dan earlier this month (probably my last shoot for a while due to the virus) :(

The time flew by and I really enjoyed meeting and working with Dan (finally) :)

We worked our way through lots of ideas and genres, chatting loads in between and listening to Fleetwood Mac!

Dan was super lovely and I am really hoping to work with him again when this nightmare has ended! Thank you so much Dan :) :)

After popping in a little while back to have a look around, Dan leased the studio this evening to work with local model, Betty B Bashful.

Dan's comms were great and dropped me a message earlier with an idea of how he'd like the studio setup. With everything setup and ready to go, I let Dan and Betty crack on. They did a handful of sets/themes, utilising different backdrops and props available, and at the end Dan seemed happy with the results.

We hope Dan enjoyed his time at the studio, and look forward to next time. Thoroughly recommended!

I had my first shoot with Dan last night, covering legs from sheer to nude.

Despite panicking about being late because there had been an accident on the motorway, the studio owner managed to contact me and put me at ease and, in the end, I was just about on time. Dan was very welcoming and understanding, even though the start of the shoot was a bit of rush. I think maybe exchanging phone numbers would be a good idea next time, just for ease of communication on the day of travel. That said, pre-shoot comms had been constructive and clear.

I thoroughly enjoyed our shoot. Dan was respectful, professional and lovely. He directed clearly, gave me physical space and showed me images on the back of the camera as we went along, which I always find reassuring. He was positive, encouraging and clear about what he wanted to do. I think we produced good images and Dan was pleased.

I hope to work with Dan again and I would highly recommend him.

My first shoot today with Dan, he is fun and very professional, was an excellent shoot, great communications leading up to the shoot, during and afterwards, we got some really great Images and I look forward to working with him again in the future, highly recommended to all

I met Dan for the first time today and had a lovely time shooting with him. He greeted me with a warm welcome and right from the start, he was very respectful and professional.

He has some really cool ideas, and I think we worked together really well! I'd definitely recommend him, and hopefully he wants to shoot again some time!

Its bèen some time since i last left Dan a reference. He has been using my studio for 7 years now and he never ceases to amaze me with the fab models he finds to work with. Each time he comes I promise myself I won't book the model he brings but again tonight I've book the lovely Alice that he worked with today. I just want to put it out there Dan is a true gentleman professional photographer. Hes respectful to all models and I can't recommend him enough both to models and studio owners. Thank you Dan for your continued support of me and the studio.

The world really didn't want me and Dan to shoot. First distance and the lack of public transport on my end and then today I apply to Dans last minute casting and all the trains stop. Of course we get stuck in traffic when Dan kindly picks me up lol. It was worth it in the end though. We went to a fab studio called Myk G which was an awesome choice. Dan is really easy to get on with and is really respectful of a models space and comfort. The shoot itself was relaxed, despite getting in lots of outfit changes. All in all, a very enjoyable shoot!

I'd happily work with Dan again, and can't recommend him enough to others.

He is a perfectionist and patient enough to work and adjust setting, model, light, to get the right shot.

Firstly I’d like to apologise in the delay for writing this...

I met up with Dan for our body scapes shoot and I was not disappointed, Dan has an eye for detail and ensures everything runs smoothly to achieve the best possible shots (which he always manages to get). His work shows his talent and he deserves a lot of recognition for his hard work and dedication.

It was a pleasure to work with Dan and the picture I have received back, I love! They’re amazing and I’m so glad I could help in capturing those.

I’d definitely recommend to any model looking to work with Dan, thanks for such a good shoot.

After a few years of hoping to work with Dan it finally happened when I applied for his casting call.

Dan was great over pre-comms, he was polite and explained everything in great detail to make sure I was comfortable. I met him at the studio and he was instantly friendly and had a plan for our shoot to make the most out of our time together. Constantly making sure I was happy with what we were shooting.

so this was my second shoot with dan and it was awesome, he was on time again, pre comms were faultless he is a very warm and welcoming person and although we had 2 hours he knew exactly what he wanted and timed it all perfectly.

Dan attended my studio day at Shadow Studio in Gloucester and I am so glad that he did! Dan turned up with a friendly smile and plenty of ideas. He was so encouraging and complimentary during the shoot - which made me feel very relaxed and happy and as a result we made a great team and got through many sequences.

I shot with Dan this week at the shadow studio in Gloucester. We had a few issues at the beginning with studio but once we got going we were away and we captured some fabulous images.

Dan knew what images he was looking to create and knew how to manipulate the light to capture the shot.

A very professional but friendly tog with some great ideas and drive, enjoyed working together and would very much like to arrange another shoot in the future!

I would recommend Dan to new and experienced models for lingerie and nude shoots, I’m also confident his skills could be applied to most other aspects of photography too!

It was a real pleasure working with Dan, he made me feel so at ease and comfortable. We got on really well and he was excellent at communicating the shots he wanted to create, he was brilliant at directing me as well into different poses and gave me so many tips to take away from our shoot!

Pre comms were brilliant. I knew exactly what we were looking to shoot and Dan gave me a wide range of ideas for items to bring.

We managed to get through lots of different outfit changes and the shoots looked incredible on the back of his camera, I really can’t wait to see how they turned out! Dan also liked to have a ‘mess around time’ with different props which made for a more natural photo which I am so excited to see!

I would highly recommend Dan to any model. Such a friendly, respectful man and a true gentleman. I am already looking forward to booking in our next shoot!
