I am returning to people photography after a good ten years gap, I always had the itch in that time but, due to what life throws at you, I just didn't have the chance. Now I would like to try and get back into making images that satisfy me and not a client. In the mid 90's I did a lot of model photography in and around the west midlands, in '99 and 2000 I pushed a little further and in a different direction towards social photography with some training from Barrett & Coe in Norfolk. With them I learned to take group and family portraits and I also did a few weddings(which I hated doing).

Now it's like starting again and this time I want to take a much more considered approach - portraits and perhaps some artistic nude is what I have in mind. All in black & white and using film -  I recently discovered with much joy just how good a 6x7 negative scan looks from an Epson V700. That medium format quality is still there and thats where I am starting from this time.
