References for 7/10 Photography!

It was such a pleasure working with Darrell today. We arranged a last minute shoot (I replied to a casting call, and we shot about an hour later!). Darrell is really down to earth and easy going, endlessly patient and respectful, and gave great direction every time I was drawing a blank. He has already sent me photos, and they are wonderful! I would absolutely recommend him; as a model, I found him to be a very warm and relaxed person to work with, and as a designer, I feel he has captured my designs beautifully. I really hope to work with him again.

Had my first shoot with Darrell, and it went very well! He very kindly picked me up and dropped me off, we done a beach shoot and throughout he was a complete gentleman, made me feel comfortable and was easy to talk to!

The shoot was very relaxed and i didn't feel pressured at all. He's very good at giving direction and has plenty of ideas, but also listens to my ideas too!

From what i saw off the back of the camera we got some really good shots and i can't wait to see them edited! :)

I highly recommend Darrell and would work with him again! Thankyou!

Darrell and I managed to arrange a second shoot before he goes back to England. I was so happy that we managed to organise a second shoot because the weather hadn't turned out so well the day before but this time it was a much clearer day. It was also very warm, perfect conditions for our Art Nude shoot going up hills in Scotland.

It was a new experience, very liberating, on the way up there was not a person to be seen so we got some shots in different places. Darrell is full of great ideas and suggestions and is very creative.

I will say again this photographer is the loveliest man, very easy to get on with, we had fun but he is also very professional and respectful.

We got loads of shots at the top of the hill we had climbed. As it was a bit later in the morning we ended up with a bit of an audience. I wasn't sure what to do but Darrell asked the people who were around if it was of if we took some art nude photos and everyone there said they were quite happy with it. They were all actually really nice and chilled so we managed to get all the shots and drone video we wanted. It was really fun and made me feel on top of the world!

To sum up I would recommend working with Darrell. He knows his stuff and is a genuinely nice guy. I am sad to hear he may not be back up here but if he is I hope we get to shoot together again.

Darrell messaged me on purpleport at around 4pm yesterday saying he had a cancellation for a shoot today at 5am. I loved the idea of doing an Art Nude shoot up a big hill and being spontaneous is so thrilling so I excitedly agreed! He seemed like such a nice guy on the phone and this followed through to meeting in person! We both got on well, we didnt realise what a hike it would but we managed to the top and it was so beautiful. A shame about the clouds but it didn't phase him and we went ahead and got some shots on the rocks up the hill. It was cool to see what his drone can do to! I had a blast. I explained I needed to be back for starting a shift at my other job for 8:45am and Darrell made me back in time for it. Can't wait to work together again a complete pleasure :)

I worked with Darrell for the first time when he came to the lakes for a Location shoot.

We had planned the shoot for a couple of days earlier but we had to change dates due to the thunder and lightning, we managed to rearrange and happened to choose a lovely day for it :)

We went to a waterfall and ended up finding an awesome little spot just down beside the river.

We did some shots in my 1950s style dress and then some Art Nudes.

Darrell is so easy to work with and I felt completely comfortable throughout the shoot, he was on time and his pre-comms where great, the photos turned out really well too!

I hope to work with him again sometime when hes next passing by.

Darrell was fantastic today, we had an early start and were both raring to go. Darrell was very easy to work with (as always) and we got through the different outfits I had brought in no time at all.

Darrell has a great eye for shots and helps with posing to make sure you get fantastic images that you'll both be really happy with.

I can't recommend highly enough! 10/10 despite the name haha ^_^

I worked with Darrell for the first time today and it was very enjoyable from the start to finish. He was very friendly and approachable and I felt relaxed throughout. We did a location shoot and he knew what kind of images he was after and was great at direction for different poses. I had a really nice time and would recommend to other models 100%.

Photoshoot for my 1st time ever last night with Darrell. Showed up in plenty of time to set it all up. Me running late as per! The man has the patience of a saint.

What a photographer, so easy and genuine to get on With! made me feel 100% comfortable, 100% at ease, brilliant personality, great banter.! Loads of shoots. Never once did I feel out of place/uncomfortable at all. Great guy to get along with and speak to. Also told me the do’s and donts about keeping yourself safe, since this was my 1 shoot...had a fantastic time hopefully all the photographers are like him. Had a great laugh. Hopefully could maybe shoot again... highly recommend this man.

And again Darrell thank you so much for making my 1st experience so relaxed and making me feel myself for once, and boosting my confidence..

Had my first shoot with Darrell last night & what an absolute pleasure it was!

Pre com was detailed , we both knew what to expect & the shoot went fantastic

Darrell came down to meet us & carried my bag upto the room like a true gentleman

Darrell is laid back, funny & yet professional at all times which made for a really enjoyable relaxing shoot for us both. Nothing better than breaking the ice when you are half naked & nervous than a little laugh ... AND to top it off he bought chocolate, WINNER.

This morning I woke upto 80 images, which was super fast. I’m absolutely delighted with all the images.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Darrell to anyone new or experienced

Darell will be quick to put anyone at ease & gives great direction

I had a shoot with Darrell yesterday, it was my first one since joining Purple port earlier that day and by coincidence Darrell had a cancellation!

My first shoot with Darrell couldn't have gone any better. He messaged me all of the details thoroughly and answered all of my questions.

Darrell was kind enough to meet me outside of the hotel and carry my case up to the room. We had a good conversation about what the shoot would entail and Darrell gave me a lot of advice for starting out and what to look out for etc - which I am extremely grateful for.

Darrell was very professional and gave me privacy to change into my lingerie in a completely private bathroom.

We then got to shooting and he was again very professional and kept me informed with everything that he was doing all way through the shoot. At times he showed me the images on the back of the camera and explained why certain poses worked well and how we can improve them etc.

Overall, Darrell has given me a massive boost in confidence and I would love to work with him again. He is very polite and professional. I would recommend to anyone just starting out like myself or anybody experienced as well as he is so easy to work with!

I applied for a casting call with Darrell and was sent a speedy, professional response with lots of detail.

We shot today and although it was my first art nude shoot, Darrell made me feel so comfortable and confident. He even brought snacks which is always a massive plus for me haha!

I can honestly say that Darrell is the most professional, reliable, calm and reassuring photographer I have every worked with and had some great advice for a model just starting out.

Hello everyone,well I can say that Darrell was my first experience on purple port between model and photographer and it was fantastic.Firsty I would like to announce that he organised everything in details and the pre communication was excellent he is the most kind and professional person.Our shoot was in hotel and thymes was vintage , I wore black lengery.Darrell like a professional makes me feel so confidence an relaxed wich is very hard for a model .He realy impressed me with his respect and polite, I will definely work with Darrell again.

The images was amazing,everything is perfect from the begginig light ,location and shadows.

Yesterday was my third shoot with Jellybean and each time we have worked together it has just been better and better.

Jellybean is always friendly and welcoming. Prepared for anything I ask of him. He has a fantastic sense of humour and always manages to make me laugh when we work together.

Our shoots have always felt really relaxed which is great as is put me at ease and means I can pose more easily.

With great com's, fantastic personality on set and top quality watermark free images - I honestly can't recommend highly enough - you'd be crazy to miss out on shooting with him ^_^

It was a last minute hotel shoot and was arranged through PP. when i got there he was very welcoming and told.me everything before the shoot which i was very happy about and made me feel at ease as i am a new model. When I first signed up to purple port in October last year , Darrell was the first booking and shoot I had from here . He helped me out , made me feel at ease, gave me good advice and kicked off my little journey into modelling With a positive experience . We had another shoot last year in October and when I had an idea for a great Halloween shoot this year I immediately thought of Darrell . Darrell was great on taking on board my ideas and helping them come to life with a few ideas of his own . I had a location in mind for the shoot which we checked out together a few weeks before hand , just to make sure we where prepaired before picking me up on the day of the shoot to drive us there . As always the day was fun and Darrell done a stellar job on the photos once again . I had fully edited photos the very next day and I am very pleased with them . Can’t wait for our next shoot .

Darrell and I had a fantastic shoot together in the small beautiful village of Culross, working on an idea I’d had.

When looking to do the shoot I knew immediately I wanted to work with Darrell, as I know how amazing his work is, along with how much fun he is to work with!

It goes without saying he is professional at all times with great pre comms, and even picked me up at 5am so we could shoot at sunrise which is such amazing dedication!

I would recommend everyone to work with Darrell if you get the chance and would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Got the chance to shoot with Darrell for a second time and I'm so glad! He really impressed me with his professionalism, respect and skill level the first time I jumped at the chance to work with him again.

Always super polite and friendly, pre shoot we set out levels and a rough idea of shots.

He also always great places to shoot, with a great understanding of the theme and personality of the shoot and of myself.

Nothing but appreciation for a photographer who can make you feel super comfortable on set, especially as this was one of my first topless/nude implied shoots.

Great hospitality and even gave me a lift home which is always handy!

The images are amazing and he got them back to me super fast! Can't wait to shoot again soon!

Would definitely recommend, a very talented, respectful, creative and professional person to work with.
