Summers Abroad

Darryl booked onto the weekend on both our ‘Face Your Fears’ and ‘Winter Wonderland’ events, and I can only reiterate what I have said previously. We absolutely love hosting Darryl on our events. He really is the life and soul of the party and we have became great friends with him over the years. It’s always so nice catching up and you know for a fact the weekend is going to be full of laughter.

He always likes to be creative on set too and adapts what’s available to get something that no body else is getting.

A pleasure as always and hope to see him again soon :)

Summers Abroad

Darryll attended his second Summers Abroad event last weekend when he came to our UK Manor Event.

We had a gorgeous manor home in the North Cotswolds that had lots of shooting opportunities both indoors and outdoors. As he was booked on the full weekend he got to shoot in all the areas and with all the models attending the event over the weekend too.

Both myself and Mark get SO excited when Darryll books on to an event, because we know it's going to be non stop laughing and banter for the entire event. He is one of our favourite people in the industry and we genuinely love his company. There are not many people we would happily meet up with outside of a work event/shoot but Darryll is definitely one of them!

Not only that but he has such an infectious enthusiasm and love for photography that shooting together is always fun and creative! He worked incredibly well alongside the photographers he was paired with over the weekend and got on with everyone too, it was a true pleasure to host him as usual!

Funny, kind, respectful and friendly guy that is any event organisers dream, what more could you ask for?! He is more than welcome on any of our events in the future and we already look forward to hosting him in November on our next UK event :D (and hopefully a little bit further afield in 2021 ;) )

Had a great few shoots with Darryll at the Summers Abroad event.

He is really laid back, good fun to work with and creates some stunning results!

We mostly did some portrait shots and also some quirky shots using an avante garde theme.

Loved working with him and highly recommend him to anyone!

Another EPIC shoot with Darryll! This time on my most recent Summers Abroad Manor Event!

Darryll is literally the life and soul of any event/party! He has such a cracking personality and sense of humour. He is honestly one of my favourite people in the industry, I always look forward to catching up and shooting together :)

He booked on to the full weekend for the event and it was so much fun! He got some killer images and we all had an awesome time socialising in the evenings too :)

I had my 3rd shoot with Darryll, he’s such an amazing photographer, he makes you feel so at ease, always a laugh, BTW he buys you lots of food 😝 haha! Just an overall great guy and tog.

Summers Abroad

Darryl just joined us on his first Summers Abroad photographic holiday and OMG! Am I glad he did!!!

This trip was to Las Vegas and I had been trying to convince Darryl to join us for quite a few months, the trip sold out but then there was a cancellation and he snapped it up! I could not of been happier! Having worked with Darryl a couple of times I just knew he was going to be awesome company and a lot of fun to have on the trip!

Darryl is so full of life!! I think it would be legit impossible to be sad around him haha! He has such a great sense of humour and is always joking and laughing :)

It was honestly so much fun having him on the trip, incredible images created together and even better memories! I really hope he can join Summers abroad in 2020 - wouldn't be the same without him!!

Highly, highly recommended!

Amazing first shoot win Darryll at PoZer’s studio in Swindon. Darryll came with loads of ideas and the clothes and props to go with it.

I had so much fun and the shoot was full of creativity. Darryll was so easy to get along with and I found him genuine, fun and respectful.

The images looked amazing and I wouldn’t hesistate to recommend him :)

Got to shoot with Darryll several times during Rachelle's Summers Abroad Las Vegas trip recently. Always ready with ideas for shots, but can change it up as well if a shot isn't working. Looking forward to seeing his edits from the trip. Lively and a character in the group I was in :)

Oh my God I was soooooo freaking happy when I saw the wonderful Darryl was on the list for Rachelle Summer’s Stepford Wives event at The Hacienda in London along with Nicole Rayner! :D

Having already worked with Darryl on two trips abroad I knew he would be no different at this event, and I was right Darryl is one of the most creative individuals I have had the pleasure of shooting with. He arrived with his huge smile and larger than life hug, and was of course ready to shoot right away, and I knew exactly what his first question would be for the shoot “Right what hasn’t been done yet, what can we do different?!” So we set to work getting creative and going for pure unique weirdness! :)

I’ve already began seeing the i ness from our time together and I just cant wait to see more.

I love working with Darryl he is the most fantastic company to spend time with, lovely, professional, down to earth, and a total gent I simply cant ever recommend him enough to anyone!

James booked on to Rachelle Summer’s awesome Stepford Wives event at The Hacienda in London along with Nicole Rayner :)

James arrived ready and eager to shoot with all the ready prepared sets Rachelle had created for the four day event. James was super chatty, friendly, down to earth and was so easy to work with, he was happy to let us pose away or throw in the occasional direction or idea. I can easily recommend James to anyone and would be happy to work with him again! :)

OMG! What can I even say about this guy!

He joined my Stepford Wives event this weekend and holy crap it was so awesome! One of my favourite shoots of the entire weekend! He just got the theme and style to perfection! Coming up with suggestions and ways to use the props/sets that no one else thought of the entire weekend and making sure he got quirky angles. The images are just bloody insane, and not only that but he is fun to work with too!

A total bundle of energy, laughs a minute and great banter. I honestly love working with this guy and could not be more excited about him joining us on one of my Summers Abroad photographic holidays soon. Viva Las Vegas :D :D :D

Just awesome to have the pleasure of working with the wonderful Darryll again on Andrew Appleton’s Fine Art and Dance workshop in the gorgeous lands of Ireland for four days! :D

After already working with Darryll on my last trip with Andrew, I knew what I was in for, tears streaming and stitches from all the laughter, not to mention some bloody awesome shots! Darryll was his usual top form throughout the trip, happy to help out and lend a hand whenever possible and always looking out for the models to make sure we were comfortable, warm, and felt safe if we were working on uneven grounds.

I just bloody love working with Darryll I really can’t recommend him highly enough, you will always have a good time, and his shots are so beautiful :)

Rachelle Summers

After meeting Darryl on a group event last year I was super excited for our first 1-2-1 shoot on my recent trip to London!

He is such a character! He has a cracking sense of humour and it was great catching up with him :)

We had a fantastic shoot, working on specific themes and styling including my first ever milk bath shoot!

It was a super morning and I’m really looking forward to having him join my Stepford wives event at The Hacienda and my Summers Abroad trip to Vegas!

I have worked with Darryl a few times,

This was 8 days on Andrew Appletons Italian Lakes roadtrip through France,Switzerland and Italy.

I love him he is awesome ,such a laugh,

But when he on it he produces stunning shots,

I cant wait to see the edits we produced,

What a frigging character this one is! I had the awesome pleasure of shooting with Darryll on a week long photography trip hosted by Andrew Appleton :)

Throughout the week we travelled through France, Switzerland, and Italy and Darryll continued to be a bundle of joy to work with, the banter never stopped, always smiling and ready for the next set, and not only did he bring all his photography gear but a ton of props as well!

It’s always so lovely to see photographers get excited for high styled shots as well as the landscapes, there is absolutely no stress when shooting with Darryll as soon as he gets the shot he’s after then you’re done, he knows what he wants and there’s no faffing, and he was always happy to hear my opinion too.

I adore how friendly, chilled and down to earth Darryll is, no airs and graces just good fun and he instantly felt like an old mate. Within a couple hours after our first shoot on location he had already started editing and posting, and I couldn’t believe the results!

Darryll comes easily and very highly recommended by me and can’t wait for next time, thank you for a glorious week :D

I had a fabulous 4hr shoot with Darryll at my The Old Chapel a few weeks back. Darryll is such a lovely person to work with, he is down to earth, fun and professional. He took some lovely images of me in the 4hrs and he is great company to have throughout a shoot.

The Old Chapel Studio - CLOSED

This was Darryll's first visit to the studio. We had spoken on the phone before the shoot which is helpful. Darryll arrived in good time and brought an array of items to work with. He is very personable and easy to talk to and put the model as ease instantly. It was a pleasure meeting Darryll and we definitely recommend him

Darryll is literally hilarious! I met him and worked with him for the first time on the Stimilon Palace event in London and he immediately stood out. I got on with him really well and it was great getting to know him a bit over the course of the day and a half. He has a wicked sense of humour and is really friendly and chatty :D
