I had a wonderful shoot with Dave in his home covering a selection of genres. He has great ideas and attention to detail which makes for really great images. We shot some proper gold tier stuff!

But what I really want to emphasise here is that Dave is a wonderful human being - he's fun, friendly, considerate and selfless. He often hosts models in his home and honestly, there couldn't be a better person to stay with.

His home is immaculate, neutrally decorated, filled with light and cosy.

So models if you get the option to be hosted at Daves during a tour - jump at the chance!

Recommended to absolutely everybody!

5Another great day shooting with Dave.

Dave kindly hosted me for a second time as i had work in the area , Dave is very hospitable , took me food, and cooked for me, even a nice cuppa in the morning, i can recommend Dave as a great host for touring models he has a 4 bedroom house and is very respectful.

We had a great day shooting all around his house and made use of daylight and his studio lighting and got to use his VR again yay!

I always enjoy working with Dave we have so much fun and make beautiful images.

As ever I highly recommend

What can I say about Dave that I have not already said…… well I’ve recently promoted him to photographer bestie so that’s something 😊

I have been staying with Dave for years now his house is always my base when I travel to Gloucester and I always look forward to visiting. He makes my tours so easy for me and looks after me and I really appreciate that. He always lets me use his home to work from which over the years has helped me out so much.

Then also he is a really good photographer and always takes the loveliest images of me. When we shoot together all we do is laugh I’m surprised we actually get anything done🤣 I would definitely recommend you work with him. I am already looking at the diary seeing when I can go back!

It would be amiss of me not to leave a reference for dasphotouk Dave where I photographed Aurora Phoenix for 2 hours in Gloucester.

Most kindly, I had a lift from the station.

His home is discretely tucked away and he really doesn’t need a studio. He already has everything he needs.

Ceiling heights, spacious, neutral coloured walls. A sizeable garden fenced off (we didn’t use but nice to have). A downstairs WC is very useful. Rooms can be closed off which is most useful.

Spectacular natural light coming in from the windows, when we were photographing, both upstairs and downstairs. Made such a difference. Versatility with the furniture which I found most useful and of course decorated all up for Christmas!

Dave was a perfect gentleman, nothing too much trouble and he was available but kept out of the way unless needed. Which allowed one to concentrate on the shoot.

Even got a lift back to the station.

I more than recommend dasphotuk Dave if you have the opportunity to photograph there.

He does have a range of studio equipment should you need it.

The Natural Light was far more than good enough.

The perfect gentleman with an ideal location to photograph in.

Another fantastic tour hosted by Das photoshoot Dave at his lovely home in Gloucester. During the second week of December.

Dave kindly let me come up the night before the tour which meant so much to me and it made things so easy not having to worry about transport on the first day of the the tour before shooting. No crazy early mornings getting up at the crack of dawn to catch the first train. I felt a lot less anxious and more at ease coming up slightly earlier. Especially as the trains have been very delayed and non so reliable recently.

Prior to the tour as always pre-communication was fabulous and everything was super easy to plan and organise.

Dave kindly collected me from the bus station the night before the tour which was much appreciated there were no trains as they were all cancelled so I took a coach lol. My room was so stunning and Dave had made it so beautiful and festive with Christmas bedding and some cute decorations and Christmas toys.

We had a fabulous tour and always Dave was welcoming and accommodating to me and all of the Photographers. Time fly by as I had many wonderful shoots at his home in Gloucester and some at J9 Studios too. Between shoots we had some nice chats and cooked some dinner together. Dave even kindly lent me his yoga mat for some workouts too :)

Once again the tour was a huge success!! Would love to be hosted again in the future.

Awwww what is there to say about my mate dave that ive not already said. I have been coming to stay with Dave for years now. His home is like my second home and is always my base when im in Gloucester. He always looked after me and helped me get to shoots and hes just the best!

On the photography side hes amazing! always wants the lights to be right and for you to look your best. Ive never had a bad photo from him even when im pulling a stupid face haha. We have also worked together doing videos for VR a lot which is just the most fun thing in the world, your face hurts from smiling and laughing lol. Dave is just the best so work with him if you can because its fun and you get amazing photos.

David as ever is so hospitable and kind and took care of me, in his beautiful clean and comfortable home.

We had a great shoot with a mixture of everything and even some arty shadows too.

Had such an awesome 3 day tour hosted by the awesome Dave!!!

Dave kindly hosted me for a 3 day tour in his beautiful home earlier this month. I was there for 3 days and 2 nights. Prior to shooting pre-communication was excellent and everything was super easy to plan and organise.

On the first day of the Tour, Dave kindly collected me from the station and was so friendly from the start. He was super accommodating to both myself and the photographers coming over. In between shoots we had a some really good chats and it was great to get to get know Dave. He is really considerate and also gave me some of my own space too which I really appreciated.

I had my own beautiful room with a double bed, fresh towels and bedding. Also another room was available for me to use as a sort of dressing room as well with a single bed. The room was clean and bright and such a lovely peaceful place to stay for my two nights during the Tour.

As well as shooting with photographers in Dave’s home we also managed to shoot together. Too both in his home and during my latex group shoot at a Studio. Shoots with Dave are super productive. We did lots of stills, HD videos and some awesome VR videos too. He’s really good at giving direction while at the same time letting models pose flow and get into the grove. He’s really good at lighting and the images looked really flattering of me.

Me and Dave had such a blast!!! I’d definitely recommend him to other travelling models as a host as well as non-travelling models for day bookings too. He gets on really well with the photographers too.

I have so many great memories from this tour and had such a fabulous time.

Can’t wait till next time!! We have already been discussing another Tour for 2024.

Dave attended my charity event for Cronhs disease yesterday that I held at Basford Hurst. He turned up ready to go with a big smile and chat ready!

He was very respectful of all the models and we all had a great laugh shooting!

He had some great ideas and the pictures looked amazing on the back of the camera!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Dave came to Basford Hurst Cottage to attend a Charity event hosted and organised by Lottiirose.

Dave arrived on time with everything he needed for the shoot. He worked incredibly hard with all the models, making sure to capture many amazing images throughout the day.

Dave was incredibly respectful of the models and his fellow photographers and I heard nothing but glowing reports all day!! He was also very respectful of our location.

I would have no hesitation to recommend Dave and I hope to see him again soon!! Thank you Dave!!

Dave was great to work with, this was the 2nd time I had met him and my first time working with him.

He was clear with his direction, charming and funny guy to work with and really helped me as a model with getting the right look for the photos, definitely would work with him again!

I had the chance to work with Dave at the group photoshoot to raise money for Crohn's Disease. This event was organised by Lotti Rose at Basford Hurst.

Dave was fantastic to work with, he had some good ideas and I could tell he was confident with his photography which made me feel comfortable too!

We got a variety of shots throughout the location and I was able to input my own ideas too which was awesome!

I had a lovely day and I'm really grateful I got the opportunity to work with him even for a short time!

I had my third shoot with Dave yesterday. I finished my bodypaint shoot with 13barry13 and he kindly allowed me to keep my body art for the next shoot. Dave agreed with enthusiasm to shoot me with body paint instead of plain skin. I thought it would be sad to wash it off straight after and I wanted to keep it on me for a bit longer :) We got some shoots with hay and in the fields which I’m pretty sure will be something unique as I was covered with golden and purple scales. It was really fun driving around and finding safe locations for art nudes. After that we went for a little trip to Burton on water and Low Slaughter and took some photos too in those lovely villages.

I’m looking forward to another shoot with Dave, they are always good fun :)

I stayed with Dave for a week and he was such a great host. He was very helpful, with picking me up from train station or giving me lifts to places whenever possible. He has a lovely house which is great for shoots and nice garden perfect for morning yoga!

Our shoot was really fun, we were exloring local area looking for a good spots to shoot. We created some beautiful pictures :) We’ve done some urban fashion and rural photos in the fields. Back at his place we’ve done set in the bath with pink bath bomb and some more great lingerie pictures in the kitchen.

I really appreciate all his help during my stay at his place. I can recommend him for any model, if you’re looking for a host in Gloucester, don’t hesitate to message him :)

A wizard! Shot with Dave on Saturday, and just in awe of the results. He's so creative and understands lighting and framing effortlessly (though that's years of talent and training that makes it look so easy, because it's not). EVERY idea I came up with he delivered, he nailed it, and made me so so happy. In fact one idea I failed to properly communicate and he managed to capture EXACTLY what was in my head, that I cried out "Hitchcockian, that's what I meant!" from his results. Just... a magician. A wonderful shoot, that I'm incredibly proud of. Will absolutely shoot with him again.

My first time shooting with Dave, what a pleasure, pre comms were great! We shot at Dave’s beautiful home and created some amazing images, he made sure I was taken care of and comfortable, I would 100% recommend Dave to everyone! Such a lovely man:)

Had the absolute pleasure working with Dave last Sunday at his home.

Dave picked me up from the train station and offered me a cup of tea when we arrived at his home, showed me around to all the spaces to shoot in and his was all set up ready to go.

We started in the garden as the sun had made an appearance so we quickly took advantage and so glad we did because the images are stunning.

Dave then helped me create a video I’ve been wanting to do which with his patience and skill we was able to nail.

We then did a mixture of styles and the whole shoot was relaxed and fun I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to work with Dave again in the future.

Ive lost track of how many shoots Ive done with my good friend David now.

Each of them completely different from the last!

This time we shot on location, that didnt at all go to plan (due to some unruly mowers!), yet David still shot some beautiful images of me. And then complete craziness back at the house, again beautifully captured.

Not only is David a fantastic photographer with attention to detail, he is the loveliest human you could hope to meet - warm in personality, fun to be around, completely considerate and a total gentleman.

Proud to call him a friend and would recommend him to absolutely anybody :)
