I recently did a couples shoot with Dave and a very new model (my boyfriend) I have worked with Dave a lot and always talk about how collaborative the process is- seeing him work with a new model was so lovely- he gave helpful guidance and advice when needed and made him feel completely comfortable and confident, when posing both in duo and solo poses. Daves ability to adapt and change his shooting to reflect the models experience says so much about his professionalism as a photographer. The results he captured of us as a duo and my boyfriend on his own were excellent, although Dave said he hasn't worked a lot with Male models- he nailed it! Thanks Dave (again)...

This is say a (triple?..) reference for the lovely Dave as I've been so rubbish with writing them- but have shot with Dave a few times over the last few months with our million and one crazy shoot concepts and ideas0 which always start great and when working and creating them turn out to be even better- with a collaborative process, it's so nice to be as valued and involved as a model as I am when shooting with Dave- it really feels like a team effort always and then when we create such cool shots- it feels even better! We've worked with Bubbles, Penguins and mirrors- lots of mirrors- the concepts we shoot are so creative and interesting I'm always so proud of the images we create, thanks Dave!

I shot with Dave at J9 studios again. I always love his enthusiasm to shoot as well as all the ideas he comes up with.

This time we didn't even start with any particular ideas beforehand but managed to bounce ideas around and come up with some strong and very different sets. They look great!

Also it was really good to discover we have similar music tastes and had a great time listening to music as we shot and shared our music knowledge and recommended each other music. What a blast!

When you get to work with someone like Dave it is a breath of fresh air, he is a true gentleman who values your opinion and works with his amazing skill and talented to capture the most beautiful shots - we had a laugh, created amazing images, talked lots of rubbish and had a wonderfully productive 4h together!

What a shoot! Had such a good time!!

Dave is friendly, professional and a bit of genius with lighting.

Excellent communication prior to shoot and on meeting, we were instantly on the same page with the type of looks we wanted to achieve.

I played a couple of characters which is something I've always wanted to do and after viewing the raw images, they barely if at all need editing. Just exceptional. I love all the photos!

Thank you so Dave, can't wait for the next shoot!

The second of my shoots with Dave this week was a golf team, which we had it out into the wild s for! Dave was great in pre-communications as always and came thoroughly prepared with all of the props that we would need… The only thing we both forgot was a jumper or warmer layer to keep us warm, Dave was great about this too and allowed adequate breaks to shelter/warm up in the car – we even had Jaffa cakes and sherbet lemons for that!

The concept of the shoot was fun and Daves energy throughout was brilliant as always I love some of the results that we’ve got this and look forward to seeing more thanks so much for a great week Dave !

It is always a pleasure to shoot with Dave, he is amazing. I was enjoying our 3th shoot throughout the whole time we shot. Dave contacted me regarding our next shoot and I was over the moon as I knew shooting with Dave is one of the best occupations ever,and it had been like that. As always Dave brought a lot of probs, interesting accessories and we came up with a lot of ideas and different looks. Dave shoots in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, it is all up to his great personality and good sense of humour. Dave and Aaron were amazing and I will remember this shoot as the best shoot with 2 photographers I have ever had. Thanks, looking forward to shooting with you again

So I had two great shoots with Dave in a week when I was touring in Gloucestershire, the first one was a studio shoot where we tried out a new styles for us both including product photography which Dave hadn’t done before but really impressed me with how quickly we created shots that I think you would see in a magazine!

We then went onto the second of all themes which was… Rockstar… Dave had actually chatted to a Music studio owner next door Prior to our shoot so we actually had access to this space and all of this equipment, which was so great.

I also had the pleasure of meeting and shooting with his son Aaron for the first time he was staying with him, Dave was Great at allowing him to have his own creative input was also steering him in the right direction technically. It was a great collaborative shoot on so many fronts, another great one to add to the list thanks Dave!

Dave came to a Tabitha Boydell Workshop I was modelling for at far forest studio. He was very friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was also very professional and had loads of ideas for me to work with, which clearly showed that he had prepared prior to the shoot. I would highly recommend him.

Yesterday on my tour to Gloucestershire, I had a really amazing shoot with Dave at J9 studio in Tewkesbury. Communication before the shoot was spot on with all importantinformation, and Dave arrived on time.

He is a very professional and respectful photographer. I really enjoyed working with him. We did so many great settings around the studio. Images behind the camera looked amazing! I can't wait to see edited images.

Dave is highly recommended, and I can't wait to work with him again in the near future!

I worked with Dave for the second time and it's always a pleasure as he's full of ideas! We got some striking images straight away but then Dave isn't afraid to try something new and get experimental. We tried some crazy shapes and patterns with the gobo which was good fun working together to get it right.

Always a fun shoot. I would definitely recommend Dave. I'm sure it won't be the last time so until next time!

I worked with Dave for the first time at J9 Studios. Communication was great and we decided to go for a film noir style which we started with on the day however we were just having lots of fun and being creative that we ended up going off in all directions to more colourful fun vintage styles and all kinds of things! Dave got some great photos and the first one he's added to his PP already (fast work!) looks great.

A fun chatty person to work with. I would certainly recommend and we had so many ideas that I hope we can work together again at some point!

What to say about Dave, I honestly just can’t recommend him enough- I shoot with him every time I’m back in the Gloucestershire area and we always have the best time.

Dave has great pre-comms but also a good understanding that as a model you do have a life- and so doesn’t expect instant replies. There’s enough planning for you to know what to bring and prepare but when shooting it’s so fluid and he’s happy to switch things up- couldn’t feel more from a rigid plan.

He’s one of the most generous people I know- photography aside (just in life) he always brings props, snacks and a smile to every shoot- we can chat about anything and the time always flies by.

Honestly he’s great- shoot with him! Thanks Dave

What to say about Dave I haven't said before, he's a great guy, great photographer and honestly the time flies by. Definitely still recommended, as before great pre comms, knowing exactly which outfits to bring and which vibes we're aiming for really helped with my preparation- especially being on tour.

He's so easy-going but also has loads of ideas, whacky, fun whilst also being technically challenging for us both. I love shooting with Dave and honestly cannot recommend him enough. A photographer, turned friend thanks for another great couple of shoots Dave.

Honestly cannot recommend Dave enough- I feel like the fact I've left many glowing reviews for him speaks for itself really. The loveliest guy and now friend, whenever I'm in Gloucestershire I'll always drop Dave a message for a shoot (or 2.. or 3...) Storm Eunice did disrupt our shooting plans and so we had less time to shoot than expected but Dave was so so generous about this and made sure all parties weren't left out of pocket. Some fabulous concepts which were so creative and fun to shoot- working so collaboratively is so fun! As always, lots of ideas, great banter and lots of great snacks (he even brought me breakfast one day- what a guy) 1000000% recommend- and HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE!!

ANOTHER great shoot with Dave, great guy- easygoing, fun and creative. Great precomms as always and he brought along snacks!! We had a great time shooting at J9 for the first time- a little gem of a studio, which Dave booked and did all prior communications with. As I’ve said many times before- lovely guy- AND he WILL be persuaded over from the dark side (b&w) sometime soon- watch this space!

I am very happy with second shoot with Dave. We had been shooting at Mick Payton's studio in Wales and the shoot went really great.

What can I say ,Dave is amazing,I really like his personality. He always has great ideas for our shoot and I do like the outfits he brought for our shoots. Dave shoots without any rush, he always shows me the photos and I like the atmosphere he created.

Dave showed up with a big smile and I was really glad we will be shooting together again as I have nice memories of our first shoot. Of course you should shoot with Dave, highly recommended

Had 2 shoots with the fabulous Dave this week just gone, because when planning shoots we have ideas coming out of our ears and these were no exception. I love to shoot with Dave because he always arrives at a shoot with bags of enthusiasm, a big grin and as I said lots of ideas (but also many props, gadgets and outfit suggestions to actually help those visions become a reality) which makes shooting together such a fun and a collaborative process. Having said how much fun it is shooting with Dave I should also say, he is truly professional and makes you feel at ease throughout- and that always shines through in the results which are always fab! One one of our shoots there was an uncomfortable situation involving a third party and Dave was lovely as ever and handled it with professionalism. We actually did take a roadtrip to a studio too this time and the long journey flew by, Dave's great company and a great photographer, until the next one! Thanks Dave! Oh and of course HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had an absolute enjoyable experience working with Dave yesterday. He is truly one of the nicest people, so down to earth, relaxed and easy going.

We did location shoot around Evesham. We found so many great spots to shoot :)

He came armed with ideas and I think we executed them just right! I loved the paintbrush.
