I had a wonderful shoot with Dave today!

I'd been hoping to shoot with him since 2020 and then the pandemic hit, so that slightly off-set our plans by a few years.

I was so glad I finally got to work with him and had so much fun in the process. He's such a brilliant photographer when it comes to classical art nudes, but equally when trying out slightly more bizarre and surreal ideas. I said during the shoot that he wins the title of "most original photographer of 2023" or words to that effect.

10/10 would recommend and would definitely work with again. :)

Wow... this shoot was something special with Dave and Perry (Imagesse) and new model Lou Breeze.

This was a rearranged shoot since covid times and honestly I have been SOOO looking forward to it.

I suggested Lou as a model as having met her not too long ago and hitting it off so well and seeing how natural she is as a model I felt she would be the perfect candidate.

It was a blessing truly to meet Dave, he is certainly a warm and wonderful character, coming from the US. He and Perry shot us both solo and together and despite being at the same locations and shooting the same models they both captured such unique and breathtaking images.

The day was mapped out prior to the shoot and we had a group chat to arrange all the details of the day.

The first location was an ancient stone circle which provide such powerful ancient energy and inspiration ~ The images there are beyond words, they can only be felt. Then we headed to a nearby river with the most wonderful rocks featuring what can only be described as a portal (a hole) that went down into the river. Whoaaaa....still feeling the energy of this. Then we hiked around an hour to shoot an an ancient woodland that honestly again was worth every step we walked. BREATHTAKING!!

Myself and Lucy certainly went on a journey that day and tuned into each other and our environment in a way that again went beyond anything we can fully verbalize.

It's safe to say the shoot was truly remarkable and one I will remember for the rest of my life. Dave left an imprint on me too, his way of capturing you in your true essence is breathtaking.

I've been so impressed by Dave from start to finish. :)

His pre-shoot comms are always perfect, from planning what we wanted to shoot to where we were going to shoot and directions whilst on set. Everything was clearly presented, messages were professional, warm & friendly, and Daves years of experience working with a variety of models was evident. On our shoot day Dave was friendly and chatty and he couldn't have done more to make me feel at ease.

I would absolutely recommend Dave to all Models and look forward to creating with him again in the near future after I give birth to my son.

I've been fortunate enough to share three seperate, multi-day trips with Dave, and each one has such a pleasure! I enjoy the way that Dave sees the world and the care he takes with each and every image. Spending 4 days creating in the Utah desert last month was truly a treat! Aside from being a delight to work with and be around, he is very generous in sharing his images and they are always such special souvineers for me... he has taken some of my favorite images to date. Thank you, Dave! I hope that our paths will cross again soon! :)

RogerMore and I organise and host Icelandic Dreams photography trips and we have just returned from an amazing week away with Dave!

Due to the pandemic this was the third reschedule! We had hoped that this was our "third time lucky" but due to the mania of airports in 2022, despite being 2 hours early for our flight... the long queues and security held us all up and we missed our gate closure by minutes (no announcements)!! (Mental note; in 2022 post pandemic: arrive at the airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight-minimum!)

RogerMore came up with a genius plan B and a rescue plan and we finally arrived in Iceland 15 hours later to meet Dave and the rest of the team... (plus our second flight was also delayed twice!)

Phew... what a journey and many hours waiting at Luton airport (as Dave informed me very humorously; Luton airport, as the famous "One foot in the grave" series states "where no one can hear you scream!").

Thankfully a member of airport staff gave us all (Roger, IridaS and I) permission to use the "prayer room" section of the airport to rest which was a blessing a half!!) After our manic journey, together; IridaS, Svala (Icelandic Selkie) and I modelled over the Icelandic landscape during the course of the week, venturing to the North of Iceland, staying in a beautiful retreat in Dalvik.

We hosted six photographers and three models in total over the course of the week shooting art nudes in the stunning landscape and the weather was absolutely beautiful, with sunshine every day (very unusual for Iceland!), raining only on the last day that we were leaving. It was the summer time in Iceland in late May-June and much of the day was beautiful sunlight making for the perfect conditions for photography.

It was so lovely to work with Dave for the first time! I'm always a little nervous but needn't have been as he is throughly professional, kind and very resepectful.

I absolutely adored Daves quirky personality, I found it very endearing and I love the fact that Dave shoots on film! As such Daves approach to photography and process is very different to that of digital photography and it gave the team such an edge! Dave is a very calm, cool and collected person and lovely company with a beautiful mind.

I really look forward to seeing the photographic results and loved the work we achieved together over the week!

It was certainly a very memorable trip...one I will never forget!!

I had a wonderful week with Dave out in the wilderness of Utah. We were shooting film which gave the shoot a nice relaxed pace. Dave knew exactly what he wanted to shoot, and takes pride in creating the photos he takes. I look forward to shooting with him again in the future.

Dave is a true artist and working with him was certainly one of my creative highlights this year. He has an incredible eye for lighting and composition and an easy-going pace which made it easy to relax into the natural surroundings at our locations and give my best. I was lucky enough to spend several days with Dave and enjoyed getting to know him as a person as much as I enjoyed having the opportunity to create with him. I absolutely love the images I've seen so far! I hope that this was the first time of many. Thanks again Dave! :)

I worked with Dave today and I really enjoyed it!

The previous communication was very complete and Dave helped me a lot with the subway connections and picked me up at the station, that was very kind.

Me and Dave shot with film and I love that. It's always a different shoot when you're shooting with film and I'm really looking forward to see the results!

Dave was very talkative and friendly, I really recomend shooting with him!

I had a very entertaining shoot with Dave. He picked me and the other model on time. Dave is passionate about his photography and gave Good direction, which requires more attention when shooting two models. I like his style of photography and can recommend him without reservation.

I can just recommend him! The shooting was so funny, he is creative and friendly. The frame of mind was really good for the great shooting. He knew what he wanted to see, so it was really easy to work with him. Dave made the work easy and we could work so free with the another model. We just did the variations of the poses and when he found something interesting we worked on it. It was easy funny and friendly shooting!

I have been hosted overnight,twice, by Dave in his NYC home. Most recently was for a sunrise shoot at a nearby location. ( which didn't go as planned but he stayed in good spirits throughout) I've also traveled with Dave on two multi-day road trips to Woodstock, and as far as Vermont on one. He's a safe and considerate traveling partner. I deeply admire his photography and his passion for creating beautiful fine art prints. The images that I've received from our shoots are wonderful additions to my portfolio. But I also enjoy the adventures from our time together.

Dave and I had a sunrise shoot last week while I was in NYC. He hosted me the previous night to save me precious time in the morning, and he was a courteous host.

At our shoot I appreciated that he took his time with every image to make it was done right.

He sent me some of the results already and they look great. I hope to work with him again next time I'm in NYC

Dave is a very talented photographer, with a clear idea of what he wants, a laid back approach, and a chatty, quirky personality. He works on film, so there is a thoughtful and calm mood to the shoot. He also likes to capture more natural, relaxed posing as well as sculptural shapes.

I last worked with Dave on his trip to the UK in 2017, together with another photographer (Imagesse) and fellow models Ella Rose and Rebecca Tun. I had previously met him many years back on an artist's retreat as well.

I think Dave has a very unique and interesting creative eye, which also aligns with some of my own aesthetic styles, and would be happy to work with him again.

I did some wonderful shoots with Dave in Iceland a few years ago. It was a great adventure, and I really appreciate the work Dave produced and the fact that he chose me for that work. His use of film photography lends a special nostalgic quality to his images, and the pictures from our Iceland adventures remain some of my firm favourites to this day. Dave is a considerate person and fun to work with. I look forward to working with him again and highly recommend him to other models.
