We covered a variety of styles including boudoir, fashion and cheeky glamour.

I thoroughly enjoyed shooting with these lovely people, anyone with this much enthusiasm is someone I'll happily work with again and again! :)

David is down to earth, professional and also he s super fun to work with. I felt comfortable working with him straight away, and I loved David’s ideas. We’re already planning our next shoot.

Today I has my first shoot today with David and Ann and it was a treat!

We arranged this shoot what seems like so long ago and pre shoot comms were spot on.

On the day David greeted me outside as I was parking my car and helped me bring my stuff in.

David and Ann are both so talented and sweet. Just lovely, down to earth people.

I can't wait to see our fab images and I hope to work together again soon.

Another fantastic shoot with the lovely David at Loud and Flashy.

Last time it was outdoors - but yesterday the studio was the setting so we could keep nice and warm.

There’s not much to say about David that I haven’t already said, in that he’s so lovely to work with. He makes every shoot a great experience from beginning to end.

I love his pre shoot plans as I know exactly what to bring with me.

Let’s just say -he’s not getting rid of me. I will always, always be shooting with him.

What a fabulous and amazing day I had today up at Loud and Flashy Studio with the lovely David.

I had such a great day.

As usual David’s pre shoot commas were spot on. I always feel comfortable shooting with him and it’s a pleasure knowing in advance what he wants to shoot so I’m all organised with suitable outfits. Of course I always carry too much and have too much choice, plus with David’s choice of dress (which was stunning) we had so much to go at.

Great conversation and lots of laughs too.

And not to mention cracking images.

In fact I think we’ve created our best set yet - although I always say that and possibly the beach ones from the other year will take some beating. But today’s images are up there with some of our best work.

I can’t wait until the next shoot.

I have worked with David so many times over the years. All the way back when i first started we used to shoot together at my local studio loud and flashy at their creative nights. Ive recently started working with David 1-1 at loud and flashy along with his wife Anne. They both love taking photos and just really enjoy the shoot. This was our second time working 1-1 and we already have a third planned i cant wait. It was really nice to see you both, thanks for booking me.

My second shoot with the lovely David - and this time was super nice/doubly productive because his wife Anne (who also shoots) came with him! 😃 David had asked me on our previous shoot if I had an interest in working with them both together - based on the terrific rapport we cracked into straight away upon first meeting, and the really nice things I’d heard about Anne and them sharing shoots/both having their own inspiration... Well it doesn’t need saying that I was totally down for it - after all, here I am leaving glowing reference about how nice it was to work with them at the beginning of what was going to be my first *proper big* tour of the North and Scotland since all the madness of the last two years kicked off! It makes a difference when you can get back to it working with such nice people! ☺️

As before: the communications from David were spot on! He covered everything I needed to know in great detail from outfits to the plan of the day. It really aids me when I’m shooting as part of a tour and I have such great/swift messages from people. Even if I may not get back right away if I’m shooting/running events. 🙈 In the run-up to the shoot I had two massive abroad events that fell very close together because they’d been cancelled so many times with Covid! So I’m not going to lie, around this time I was totally snowed under - but David was an angel and so understanding! Anne was equally as sweet when I met them both on the day and instantly revived a harmonious work flow having a good laugh and making cute images in the process.

We did literally all sorts... Anne and David both shoot totally separate (and shoot different things) so they have totally individual eyes for an image and know what styles they like as independent photographers. 😃 David brought along some super fun (almost cosplay style) outfits and lingerie again, Anne really enjoyed shooting some more mellow/pastel styles and burlesque too! They took it in turns, we had ample breaks between working - then I was so kindly bought lunch in the middle of the day! I tried my best to resist/cover it myself, but David was insistent as he strongly believes in looking after the models. 😄 We had plenty of cuppas too, their adorable doggy came along for day and played with the other pups at Loud And Flashy studio where we worked: if this sort of atmosphere doesn’t make you smile - what will?! 💁🏻‍♀️ We also did no end of chatting and probably broke the Guinness world record on the amount of chinwagging achieved in one day. 😂 That’s just what happens when you’re in nice company though and really gel with people in a positive working environment!

So it’s certainly another BIG recommendation from me - this time for both David AND Anne. ☺️ They are full of respect for their models, give so much courtesy and kindness with their approach... You couldn’t meet a much sweeter couple! So take it from me that they deliver completely professional attitudes and work ethic to their shoots. They are enthusiastic and passionate about making nice pictures/know what they like and wish to achieve from a day; but they always prioritise the model feeling comfortable. They let the models flow with their own poses/expression and give the loveliest support all the way til the end with a strong willingness to listen to/bounce ideas around. 😃

What a tremendous day! Thank you so much both of you!

I actually need putting up in the gallows for my delay in getting this lovely gentleman his reference! Truth is, I actually lost track of my reference order list (never happens usually!) and missed out an entire weekend! Simon who runs the studio where we shot will be having my guts for garters too! 😂

But the fact is: David is just too sweet natured and polite to even ask! And the times when I do need badgering would typically be when I’ve actually lost track due to chaos in ones life! 🙈 So as a result: I hereby grant the best reference imaginable to this absolutely delightful chap! He is simply a joy to work with, and we have in fact done so again after this shoot - but that’s a whole nother’ essay entirely! 😃 David is a super sweet person, an enthusiastic and happy photographer who knows what he likes, professional in every way... You can bet your bottom dollar that all the boxes are ticked for a positive recommendation in this case. I cannot see anyone ever having a bad word to say about David to be honest - I’m just so wholeheartedly glad that we kept in touch following our first communications (before all the madness) and finally got the chance to meet and enjoy a tremendous day at Loud And Flashy Studio. ☺️

David is a real sucker for cute and cheeky glamour styles! 😃 I was very pleased when he expressed an interest in some of my bespoke crystal lingerie - with the “cheeky postcard” kind of work that David likes; the bling was just made for it! But to be honest; we did a whole host of different looks whereby we utilised the studio’s broad range of facilities and sets. It was quite the productive session, and the fact that David really does put his heart and soul into shooting to enjoy the experience from start to finish shows! He selects new gorgeous lingerie and outfits for models to wear (generously allowing them to even keep afterwards!) He is clear/concise and very friendly/approachable in his emails; which puts you at ease with good etiquette before you’ve even met. When shooting: he respects that models all have a repertoire and may interpret outfits/a set differently, and he just lets the model go for it with their flow! He gives great on-shoot feedback which is lifting in knowing that you’re working off the same page - and even though we did get a lot of nice images shot, the pace was relaxed/not at all rushed or pressured. Exactly the kind of fun and vibrant shoot that lifts your spirits if I’m being honest! ☺️

I did touch on this before:- but I’m happy to reiterate because it’s the absolute truth! David’s got the biggest heart and wants nothing more than the models he shoots to feel entirely comfortable/content and well looked after. His whole demeanour is just to naturally be respectful and courteous - never will you meet such a good soul as David and feel so relaxed shooting with a photographer. 😊 I seriously do recommend him to the moon and back... He is fabulous company; we quite literally chatted until our voice boxes could handle no more! 😂 Laughing, joking, checking out the images and just benefitting from a superb working rapport from the word go!
