So enjoyed the shoot with Ella and David. Time flew by and it was a pleasure to watch them both work together to bring their best too the shoot. Looking forward to having them both back when I have resolved headroom space so i can include some jumps.

Had a marvellous shoot with David today in Edinburgh. The skills which David has developed over many years of training and study in dance come out the moment he sets foot in the studio. We worked though a long list of shoot ideas which we had agreed beforehand and for each, David made it his own taking particular care in the posing resulting in truly excellent shots.

It is extremely rare to be able to get access to a practising dance professional of the calibre. Get David when you can.

Inspire Studios Ltd

David did a duo day at the studio with his partner Ella Slingsby. It was a fantastic couple of days in the studio with these outstanding ballet dancers. David and Ella were a delight to work with, and their talent and dedication were truly remarkable, they brought so much energy and grace to the studio. I had a wonderful time watching them perform and working with the photographers so well. Overall, it was an amazing two days filled with talent, creativity and great company. Look forward to seeing them back again soon hopefully.

Having worked with David once before I was looking forward to working with him again, this time with his partner Ella but circumstances beyond my control meant this had to be a remote shoot during their studio days at Inspire Studios. Not having done a remote shoot before I was concerned as to how it would go but David and his partner made it very easy for me and he worked really hard not only with the ideas that I had but also with ideas of his own to make sure that I got some superb images. He is very easy to work with, cheerful, enthusiastic and above all professional and I will look forward to working with him again in the not too distant future. Very highly recommended

Wavepower

This was my second shoot with David together with his partner Ella Slingsby on a studio day at Inspire Studios. I was lucky to get the last available slot during their two day visit.

David and Ella are a skilled and hard working ballet partnership. They put their all into the shoot, and are an absolute delight to work with. They work brilliantly together on how to approach each new pose, and seem to relish the highly collaborative way we work together. They are also very pleasant company.

Because time was short, we worked from some dance inspiration images that I brought, most of them requiring them to develop new poses and moves. I let them choose which we would work on and, as previously, they completely rose to the occasion; enthusiastically working out how to best approach the idea, adapt it, problem solve and make each idea our own. They are as keen as I am to refine each pose to bet the best we can out of an idea and between them have a good eye on what works and what can be improved.

I have absolutely no hestitation recommending both David and Ella, together or individually.

Thank you both for a thoroughly enjoyable, fun and creative shoot. Looking forward to finding another opportunity to work together sometime.

I had my very first shoot with Ella and David today at Inspire. What a lovely young couple. They were very patient with me whilst getting the lighting just right and were extremely enthusiatic to work with me on some of my crazy ideas. :-)

David is a handsome young man and a fabulous dancer to boot. His jumps were fantastic and can only hope I have captured them in a way that does justice to his skill. David and Ella created some stunning poses in costumes from Cinderella and Romeo & Juliet which they had thoughtfully brought with them.

I also managed to shoot some very nice portraits of them in a more casual format.

David was very keen to get the best out of shoot and worked hard to suggest good lighing set ups and to work creatively with Ella on complicated poses and lifts. David has a lovely personality and together they they made the shoot a fun experience.

I definitely enjoyed our shoot and would be happy to work with David (and Ella) again. Recommended 100%.

I booked a 2-hour slot at inspire studio Salisbury with both David and his partner Ella. They were both a delight to work with and exceptional dancers. They really took my ideas and went all out to achieve the look I was going for. They were extremely good at both at taking direction and free balling ideas. David's jumps were amazing to both watch and shoot and the height he achieved was ridiculous.

I cannot recommend David highly enough and if you can book him with Ella you are in for a real treat.

Had my first shoot with David and Ella yesterday. This was something I'd hoped to do for ages and I wasn't disappointed! Our pre-shoot comms were excellent and they brought a stunning range of professional dance costumes to shoot in. Both were delightful and posed extremely well and as a couple there was tremendous synergy and creative energy. I have some great images from our shoot :-)

Had a very enjoyable, productive and creative shoot with Ella and David at Inspire Studios, and how I wish it had been longer. They are both amazing dancers and work so well together, offering very creative poses and a desire to get the shot perfect. They are both very friendly and easy to get on with, moving easily from one pose to another, and ready to try my ideas too. Their costumes were perfect for the event, and they brought what I had asked for in a pre-shoot discussion. I would love to work with them again.

:) What an amazing time I had shooting David and his partner Ella!

Communications beforehand were absolutely spot on so that we all knew what to expect from each other.

David and Ella produced some stunning poses and their attention to detail, in their efforts to get each pose just right, was quite incredible.

Both models were really easy to work with and genuinely lovely people, as well as being enthusiastic, conscientuious, creative and just full of energy!

I'd really love to shoot again sometime.

I had a great afternoon's shoot with David and Ella. I turned up with various half-baked ideas of dance images I wanted to create and the pair contributed their expertise to make sure we ended up with pictures I loved. They put in an awful lot of work over four hours to achieve this and were keen to make sure the results were the best we could get.

The big advantage of working with dancers with this level of expertise is that (a) they're usually one step ahead of me when it comes to suggesting improvements or spotting I was late pressing the shutter, and (b) they have the ability to repeat the shot with just the minor tweaks we've agreed on. This makes for a really productive shoot.

Ella and David were really easy to work with: I hadn't met either of them before but after ten minutes it was as if we'd been working together for years. I'm looking forward to the chance to work with them again.

Superb shoot with David and partner Ella. Shoot discussed themed around contemporary dance my Morgan in the beautiful Cockington country location close to David.

As expected David was eager to bring his own input and 100% creativity into the shoot and smiled with enthusiasm through the various sets.

Both David and Ella work tirelessly and effortlessly together as a dance duo and are a joy to work alongside. Total professional in every aspect.

Another shoot with this amazing duo already in our diary's.

Another great shoot with David and Ella, this time outside on the coast at Teignmouth.

I shared the shoot with three others from my camera club.

David and Ella worked hard and created some amazing poses both as dances and as fashion models. So nice having a real couple to shoot as totally at ease.

David also worked well individually and makes a great model.

They put up with the odd requests from the others in the party and worked solidly for the three hours.

We are all very pleased with the shoot and I have some lovely images from the evening.

100% professional at all times and very willing to work hard to achieve the results we wanted.

David is very easy to get on with, happy to take direction, and he also suggested some poses which I would never have thought of, so I was very happy to take advantage of his skills. David was a delight to work with. Professional, dedicated to getting quality shots and interested in what we were trying to achieve. I shared a shoot plan with him before the shoot and communication was excellent.

As a professional ballet dancer David is very accomplished at taking direction as well as collaborating and offering suggestions of his own. We had an early start to capture some golden light on the beach. For someone like myself who has been in the dance industry all my working life, it was an absolute pleasure to shoot with such a talented individual.

David was patient with me throughout the shoot - I was using a very new camera on its first outing at a shoot and there's a lot for me to learn with it. Despite this, at a first quick glance we have captured great shots on the theme we worked on.

I can highly recommend David and I look forward to working with him again.

He arrived before me, he brought the outfits we discussed and he was ready to shoot on time.
