I am a hobbyist photographer who loves taking pictures of everything, to document my life and substitute for a very poor memory.
I started taking my hobby more seriously when my hubby bought me a DSLR camera. I practiced taking all sorts of shots from landscape to still life to portraits, but found portrait photography the most rewarding.
I most enjoy travelling when I can and capturing people in their own environment. The photos I post will just be portrait shots of friends/family or models, which I take in a hired studio or other locations. One day when I don't have to work anymore, I'd like to devote more time to the travelling side and really indulge my passion for portrait photography.
I am still very much a beginner and would appreciate the advice and support from experienced photographers on here as well as the opportunity to gain more experience.
