I worked with the lovely Roy today at my home and studio "Heavenly Bodies" studio in Chippenham and wow such a blast from the past!! I cannot believe it had been 8 years since we last worked together and I don't think we have both changed that much in that time! :P

We worked together on a mixture of Fashion to Art Nudes making the most of the studio and a few rooms of the home, focusing on flash and natural light. We were super lucky with the weather and even managed a few photographs in the garden and alley which looked beautiful! I loved the 3/4 shots and angles Roy achieved and really look forward to the uploads and outtakes! :)

As a person Roy is professional, respectful and has a dry wit which I found very endearing. Hes definately a natural light person like myself and thrives with photography outdoors. Roy also gave great direction and made sure I was comfortable.

Thankyou for a lovely day Roy and hope to catch up next year (don't leave it another 8 years- will drag you to my favorite ruin next time!) Helen x

The first bike shoot I had was a great one!

I absolutely loved to work with Roy.

He was very professional and took the time to ensure the very best images were taken.

He had a great sense of humour which made the shoot fly by. Lots of great ideas working with the bike and using the surroundings of the urban graffiti also.

He also gave direction when needed.

I cannot wait to work with Roy again, if you get the chance to work with him you will not be disappointed.

Had my first shoot with Roy yesterday! I was a little delayed due to traffic, Roy was totally understanding and chilled out and even had the correct change ready for my parking ticket. We went over the plan for the shoot and found a good spot to shoot by-as it was a location shoot. Roy through out ensured I was happy, warm etc and half way through he even suggested to stopped for a warm drink and toilet break which I thought was really considerate and also unexpected as it was only a 2hr shoot. Roy knew exactly what sort of image outcome he was looking for and knew what worked well in regards to colours, poses and all the technical digital stuff as well haha! Had a laugh together and I'd defiantly work with him again! Super speedy in sharing the images as well :D They're awesome! Thankyou x

Had my first shoot with Roy at studio 58, I was a little nervous to begin with as I always am with a new photographer but I soon felt relaxed and comfortable. Despite not having shot in a few months, he had some great ideas and fell into the flow of shooting again naturally. Great first shoot with Roy, the pre shoot commms were good. We shot at mine, Roy is lovely, very easy to get along with and a good laugh. He knows what he wants and gives good direction whilst welcoming input during a relaxed shoot. Roy likes to take the time to get things right and i can't wait to see what we got.

I worked with the lovely Roy again today after a few years apart! Roy was great fun to work with, the shoot was full of laughter and great banter and I had a great time! Roy kindly came to my home and we worked together for a couple of hours photographing a mixture of portraits to art nudes. The shoot was so laid back and very enjoyable, I went away with a smile on my face! Thankyou Roy and I hope you keep up photography, I loved the results! Helen x

I shot with Roy by some old railway tracks in Bristol. Despite the freezing winds he made me feel very comfortable, and even bought me a lovely tea before we started and made sure I wasn't out in the cold too long! He doesn't have near enough faith in his capabilities, I thought we got some lovely shots outside and some fantastic 'raw' shots in his car. I would happily work with him again any time :)

Oh my Roy!

What an absolute joy of a photographer. We had a lovely shoot at my home this afternoon. Roy arrived promptly and we got pretty much straight into shooting. What a gentleman! I do apoligise to Roy for scaring his camera with my garish 70's jumpsuit, hehe.

We caught some really great images and what I loved most about this shoot is how Roy took time to discuss each image, how it worked and what needed tweaking or editing to really make it a strong picture. As a model it helps so much to see what the eyes behind the lense is seeing and Roy went above and beyond to provide such feedback, it was truly invaluable.

A fantastic, friendly and genuinely warm man and a technically minded professional photographer.

I look very much forward to our next shoot!

I contacted Roy to let him know I was going to be near him this week after he said he wanted to work wth me. So we decided to shoot for a couple of hours yesterday and we certainly had a blast!

Roy is super friendly and patient which makes him a treat to work with! Roy has already uploaded one of the images and from what I can see, we certainly got some great shots!
