I feel most fortunate to have Fareham Studio relatively nearby. My shoot today with EloiseH was brilliantly hosted by Andy Gaden.

As others have said, he keeps everyone happy with a constant flow of teas and coffees. But more than that, he is welcoming, chatty, has a great eye for lighting and the studio affords all sorts of opportunities.

I also want to thank Andy for facilitating this two day event. I am a member of a WhatsApp group of photographers who are like-minded and get on very well. This allows us to meet up for a drink and a bite to eat and organise our own model events. Andy ensures the smooth running of the events and even arranges the accommodation for models, if required.

Thank you Andy, for your help and support, which is very much appreciated.

Any photographer of whatever level ,should use Andy's studio in order to hone their craft. There are so many sets, a formal studio with endless backdrops and the upstairs studio has all manner of sets and options. The natural light on the upper floor is simply great.

I do not know who is more mad...myself for having it on me or Andy for letting us do this at his studio...

Fareham studios was suggested to me by Mia UK who I had planned a shoot with. As usual I arrived early Andy the owner was already there to show me around, it's a two storey studio with natural light upstairs I should say it fantastic natural light upstairs, with lots of sets already pre built but everything is movable and Andy said I could shift anything I needed to

Andy is a very good instructor and is highly thought of the only thing I can say about the studio is I wish it was closer to me as I am from the Midlands I would highly recommend this studio to beginner's hobbyists and professionals.

But i will be doing the 150 miles one way just to use Fareham Studios again

This was my first time shooting at the Fareham Studio. The pre-planning and booking went without a hitch and communications were excellent, On arrival I was given a warm and friendly welcome. The studio manager gave me a comprehensive walk around and introduction to the studio and the studio facilities and good instruction on the technical aspects of the studio equipment. The studio is very well organised clean and tidy and provides a very professional, comfortable and safe working environment for both the photographer and model.

During the shoots, assistance and instruction with technical aspects and the various sets was provided when requested, otherwise I was left alone to get on with the shoot.

The studio manager is obviously a very experienced and competent instructor.

The facilities include a number of pre-set scenarios that can be changed and modified if requested. Very extensive lighting equipment consisting of numerous monoblock flash heads, stands and modifiers all stored and arranged in good order , clearly visible and accessible.

I had a great time shooting at the Fareham Studio and will certainly be using it again. I'd highly recommended this clean, warm and comfortable environment for both beginner hobbyists through to experienced professionals.

Had another shoot at the excellent Fareham Studio Today.

Yet again Andy excelled (with little prior information) in producing a set/ lighting to change ideas into great images.

I would never hesitate in recommending Fareham Studio. I learn something new every time I go there.

Had two very successful shoots at Fareham Studio on the 20th and 21st of February. The range of sets and equipment gives great creative scope. The level and quality of the natural light upstairs is incredible and was used for most of my work. The help and conversation with Andy before both shoots was great and made the experience friendly and professional.

Loving Fareham's new upstairs corner set! I saw it for the first time today now the Xmas set has gone. Deep blue and green with cream, photo frames and flowers which made a pretty lingerie/nude backdrop but would really suit floaty dresses and draped fabrics too.

I am very fortunate that this studio is not just closest to me but is also the best in the South.

I had the great pleasure of working here with the lovely Victoriah yesterday at very short notice after she unexpectedly became free.

Andy as always was amazing and just made it happen. He is also a master of light and always willing to advise or mentor as required. Even though I have over 20 years experience I always learn something new when I visit.

The studio is very well appointed with everything a photographer or model requires and you are always given a friendly, warm welcome and offer of hot drinks.

I can unreservedly highly recommend Fareham Studio to all photographers, models and creatives.

Fareham has so many props, backgrounds and accessories. Andy makes you feel comfortable straight away always offering drinks and a helping hand throughout the shoot.

I've had two shoots very close together at Fareham studio and only shot in the downstairs area but having Andy on hand with suggestions on lighting setups was great and allowed the shoot to run smoothly.

After the customary legendary Andy Cup of tea, he guided us experimenting with the Gobo's.

Got some great shots which I can't take credit for as the credit lies with the model and the assistant.

A return to Fareham for a shoot with a local model.

Studio is clean and tidy with gear that works. Plenty of sets, but also enough freedom to move chairs & props around as needed.

Then there's the tea, good strong and as much as you need.

HELL YES!

I absolutely loved it here and had a fantastic studio day...

Andy was so friendly, welcoming and fun to be around (I had a couple of breaks, so could have a chat)...He is extremely good at getting the lighting amazing (probably one of the best tbh)...

The studio itself is nice and warm with sooooo many incredible backdrops...

I am already looking at dates for another studio day here (if Andy lets me haha)...

Having been to Fareham Studio many times in the past, but have not been there recently, so I was keen to see how it has changed. Attending the studio day ran by Miss Diamond Sparkle provided the opportunity for a return visit. The warm and Friendly welcome had not changed and maximum use had been made of the extra space. The additional of a natural light and the other sets was great. Plus a great selection of props and equipment made this a great studio to visit.

Andy's knowledge of lighting and willingness to offer assistance is a great asset to this wonderful studio. Totally Recommended.

After a long sabbatical from shooting I had a fantastic experience using Farnham Studio, there really is so many sets to use and loads of props too. Andy was really helpful with set up and getting the best possible lighting effects when asked, equally he was happy to let us get on with our shoot. It’s definitely my favourite studio I have ever used, and I’ll certainly head back there in the future.

Just finished my last Fareham shoot of the year, of which there have been many, and it's still my absolute favourite. There's so many options for backgrounds, furniture, props, even clothes and jewellery, it's the most adaptable studio I know. It's great for pros who know what they want (because it's possible there) but Andy is also brilliant at helping hobbyists and newbies with ideas as well as the technical side. The huge variety also makes it a good venue for models to create 'content' to sell without having to constantly tidy your own home! If you need a photographer to shoot it Andy is more than capable, but he's fine with you bringing your own tog too. Here's to many more shoot there in 2023!

I've been to Fareham studio a few times now, and it's a superb little place. Very well equipped, lots of different shooting areas and Andy is an excellent host. He's very knowledgeable and keen to help with setting up and tuning lights, backgrounds and anything else needed. Had a great couple of hours shooting and came away with some excellent images. I will return!
