Spirit of the dance....

I had the privilege of shooting Elle Beth last year, and had a very simplistic ballet mood board, creating simple and strong images, so I thought I’d go back to the images and create something artistic this time. This edit was themed around the famous ballet film, “The Red shoes”, where the ballet dancer is controlled by her red ballet shoes, which have taken over her entire body. She’s no longer in control of what she does, where she goes etc. And the ballet shoes take her to her death.... with this edit I am trying to dipaly the ballet dancer (played by Moira Shearer) and the spirit of the shoes, as an entity, dancing symmetrically with her.
