Mind in the Shutter

I recently had my first shoot with Florence; a creative half-day outdoor shoot with two makeup looks, collaborating with a makeup artist.

Florence is a fantastic model to work with. Pre-shoot comms were very smooth and she made the shoot easy to organise. She has access to an amazing wardrobe and went to great lengths to have the right outfits on the day, which I was extremely grateful for as the dresses she brought were stunning.

Shooting outdoors with natural light is sometimes tricky, and not as comfortable as a controlled studio environment, but Florence took it all in her stride and we managed to cope with the changing weather conditions. She is patient, easygoing and takes direction very well, which is extremely helpful for shoots such as these! She has a wonderful look and suits 'natural' and more avant-garde makeup styles very well.

I had a really great shoot with her and am very happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her, and very much look forward to working with her again in future!

I met lovely Florence on my shoot with mindshutterphotos, I was actually asked last minute due to the previous MUA having to cancel. But I had a look at Florence's instagram and was so excited to work with such a raw, classical looking model. She was great at being a make up model, very patient and friendly. From behind the camera I can already tell we have some great shots and we all worked really well together! very excited for the edits!

We had a wonderful first shoot with Florence!

She was great at communicating prior to the shoot and was very dedicated from the start, making lots of stylish suggestions and bringing some stunning vintage pieces on the day.

Florence really cared about the looks we wanted to achieve and threw herself into the shoot to get the best possible shots, all whilst looking effortlessly cool.

Her posing is beautifully natural and she takes direction with ease.

She is very easy to talk to, and incredibly polite and professional.

We would definitely recommend Florence and cannot wait to work with her again soon!

I had a shoot with Florence pre shoot comms were very good. Florence is a young lady who is relatively new to modelling but she has a very mature attitude to modelling, she arrived at the shoot early, her hair and make up were immaculate. The shoot was a 50’s style and Florence’s outfit was spot on. Our shoot nearly never happened as 24 hours before the shoot I sustained a serious cut to my left wrist, Florence was very understanding of dilemma and posed freely which allowed me to get the shots I needed in very quick time.

Responded to a casting call for a location shoot in Chichester. We decided on a vintage theme, through clear and concise pre-comms. Florence arrived on time in outfit and makeup to a high standard in alignment with the theme. Florence also kindly brought along an assistant to help with lightstand support. Florence poses naturally and is very communicable during the shoot. A pleasant and enjoyable person to shoot. Recommended.

It was a pleasure to work with Florence. Communications were great throughout. She arrived on time and was well prepared with a suitcase of carefully selected and properly ironed clothes, hair and makeup all done and ready to go. I was very happy with the pictures I got and would definitely recommend working with her.

I had the great pleasure of meeting a lovely young lady for a shoot. Florence has a bubbly personality, and a great model who needs very little prompting, her poses flow from one to another. Florence had exellent communicaton prior to our shoot. A fabulous model to work with and I am certainly going to have more shoots with her. She is a young lady with a very mature mind. Florence is a fabulous natural talent and has an amazing look which I was very pleased to be able to work with. we developed plans for the shoot over time which allowed me to plan things and also include a few prototype designs within the shoot which helped give it a fashion context. im really pleased with the results. Florence comes out incredibly well on camera and also has a nice personality which makes her very easy to work with. she put alot of care and thought into the preparation and i hope to work with her again as I think she's brilliant and got alot of potential.

I had the pleasure of an all-day shoot with Florence. And what a pleasure it was.

Florence has done quite a bit of theatrical work, and it shows. Her posing and movement are soooooooo elegant - she's a natural in front of the camera. But that's not all. She's enthusiastic and creative, she has flawless skin and lovely slim figure, and she has an interesting (and huge!) wardrobe and a great eye for styling. Hang on; I haven't finished yet. There's also her sparkling personality and good sense of humour. She's so easy to get along with.

Would I recommend Florence? Well; let's put it like this... If it weren't for the fact that she's about to move to a different part of the country, I would have already been nagging her for another shoot. (That's a 'yes', by the way. :))

Had my second ever model shoot with the lovely Florence. Perfect for any newcomer that want a model that can fluently pose without direction. Communication was brilliant and she put a lot of effort in making sure she got the right look and style I was after.

She has an easy personality to work with and between shoots the conversation never stopped. It was a fun 2 hours with her and I am already looking to arrange future shoot with her.

I had a wonderful shoot with this naturally talented young model last summer. Pre-comms were superb and, as I only have a very basic knowledge of her area, she suggested a location which suited our shoot perfectly.

Florence was on time at our agreed meeting point and was ready to start shooting immediately. Her enthusiasm for shooting knew no bounds and she flowed from one stunning pose to another, as we worked our way through the many opportunities that the location offered, but all too soon, it was time to pack up and go our separate ways.

Florence is an amazing young and fresh talent in the art of modelling. She is dedicated, hard working, professional, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and very good company to have on a shoot. She deserves all the success that she wants in this World and I simply cannot recommend her too highly.

I sincerely hope that it is not too long before I have the opportunity to work with this wonderful young lady again.

Flo interacted with lots of pre comms while we worked out the style that she was looking for.
