Gothic

I dug out and reprocessed this image for the "Gothic" competition. It didn't do very well but I thought I'd post it here anyway.

Sadie and Lavinia shot (with permission) at Castell Coch in April 2003, twenty-one years ago. It was one of my first organised location shoots and I hadn't yet graduated to a DSLR - this was shot on an Olympus C-5050Z, all 5 megapixels of it. Despite that, I think it's stood up pretty well to the passage of time.

Looking through the rest of the images, I don't think that I'd realised it at the time but I'd just come across the classic dilemma with location photography - how much location do you include and how much model?
