After many remote shoots with John it was lovely to finally meet him in person during a Team Black tuition at Fareham Studio. His pre shoot communications were excellent, sharing some ideas with me ahead of the shoot and then on the day itself he arrived on time and came full of ideas. He explained himself clearly to J Black and I, explaining his aims and then was happy to listen as J Black helped him implement it.

During the shoot John was polite and friendly and conversation easily flowed. We worked our way around the various sets Fareham had to offer and captured some truly lovely images. John was lovely to work with and I'd happily work with him aga8in.

John booked a tuition with us at Fareham Studio as from his initial message onwards he was easy to communicate with and gave us all of the necessary information.

He was polite and helpful during the shoot, keeping us informed of what he was hoping to achieve and then implementing what J Black told him throughout.

The back of camera shots were wonderful and John tried hard to get the images as near to perfect in camera as he could.

John listened well and took our advice on board, achieving his aims and ultimately worked hard to do so.

We'd recommend John and would happily work with him in the future.

I had a lovely second shoot with John, this time in person at Neon Dreams!

John is very easy to get along with and communicated what he wanted to achieve well, we got some lovely photos from the session!

Oversell a very enjoyable shoot, highly recommended.

I worked with John for a couple of hours at Fareham Studio recently. He had a few ideas of what he wanted to achieve but was also open to my input, both in pre-comms and on the day. We worked through a variety of natural light sets and John captured some lovely images. I'd be happy to work with him again and hope to see him at the studio again soon.

Jhon attended a group shoot at Pans home studio, Jhon is a great guy he’s easy to get on with great sense of humour he always knew exactly what he wanted to capture and wanted to shoot I had a lot of fun I really enjoyed shooting with Jhon and hope to work with him again in the future. 🙌

John was lovely he collected me from the station and drove me to the studio

We shot a range of images and I really loved the images we created. The time flew by

I had another amazing shoot with John recently, albeit remotely as we still haven't had the chance to meet in person yet - 2024 will be our year! John's pre shoot communications are excellent, well thought out and properly planned. He then executes them well, always knowing what he wants to achieve. This latest remote shoot was a joy to work with him on and he captured some great shots. I look forward to seeing the edited images!

John is polite and professional and very friendly - I'd highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Great little shoot with John this morning at a local

Studio to him.

It was great to finally shoot with John as we had been talking about shooting for some time.

Pre comms were excellent, His direction throughout the shoot was superb, Plus we seemed to get on really well which is no surprise as he’s a lovely guy.

We shot a number of sets ranging from movement and dance and finishing off with some shots with a kestrel and a hawk, Helped by studio owner Pete who was also on hand throughout the shoot.

Thank you John for a lovely shoot and I highly recommend, I would love to work with John again in the future ;)

Jo is a pleasure to work with, albeit remotely. We've worked together on a number of occasions and each time his pre shoot communications have been clear and well laid out, this time was no different! Jo is polite and professional throughout and really takes his time to capture the best images. He'd booked myself & J Black Photographic together so he had John on hand to assist with lighting as we went, and from start to finish it all went so smoothly!
