References for Irongem / Gemma

Just completed a half-day shoot with Gemma but felt like only an hour!!!

Although we are both from the same area, I was on a tour in Edinburgh and Gemma answered my casting call and we had such a great shoot.

The chat flowed from start to finish as we worked our way through many sets with Gemma effortlessly changing her character to suit the styling and outfit.

As always Gemma packed a huge selection of stunning outfits, more than we could shoot on this booking, but that just means future bookings are needed!! She turned up looking immaculate with hair and makeup already done and raring to go.

The time just disappeared, with Gemma and myself bouncing ideas off each other as we kept the sets as varied as possible and used as many areas of the location as possible.

Totally delighted with the results and looking forward to many more shoots, highly recommend her, you will not be disappointed as Gemma is a very talented model and such a wonderful person.

I can not reccomend IronGem enough. Have worked with her twice now as an mua and not only is she just the sweetest human shes incredibly professional and easy to work with. Everything is planned out to the tiniest detail and comes prepared and organised to her shoots. We now have so many more shoots booked together and i can not wait :)

This was m first ever shoot with Gemma and what can I say about her that hasn’t already been said ?

This girl is amazing in so many ways.

Pre shoot communications between her , Mua ( Hellsbellemakeup) and myself were fantastic , with Gemma giving a very clear brief in styles she wanted to do .

Her enthusiasm is so infectious and brings out the best in everyone who works with her.

During the shoot, Gemma is just amazing to work with and her professionalism shines through which made my job so easy .

Gemma was an absolute delight to work with. I had been doing graduation photography all day and was absolutely spent....but this young lady made me come alive again with her infectious personality! We connected right away and the laughter and enjoyment continued through till the cheerful goodbye! She slipped from outfit to outfit and pose to pose quickly and smoothly and her professionalism were par excellence. I am very much looking forward to working with this young, astonishingly beautiful young woman again in the future. I simply can't recommend Gemma enough!

This was my first shoot in many years, Gem gave great suggestions and was absolutely fantastic to work with. Her communication prior to the shoot was excellent and she had clearly given a lot of thought to my shoot plan ideas and aspirations - her experience on both sides of the lens shines through. The time absolutely flew by and we finished with a brief discussion of ideas for shots in a future session with her. Highly recommended!

Gemma was more than happy to be my 'victim' when i messaged her to ask her to grab some portraits with a new camera body. What an embarassement can be when you have a new body for just a few days and you decide to test on people....oh my....she was waiting patiently while drinking coffee for me to fiddle with the settings and find out what everything was all about since...who cares about manuals :D

No matter what, our short session was fun, managed to produce some portraits and learn a bit more of the behaviour of the new 'beast'.

Gemma comes highly recomended so dont lose the opportunity to book her when you can :)

She is chatty and friendly and patient always full of ideas if it’s a general shoot always had a good selection of clothes

If it’s a themed shoot Irongem always comes full of energy and enthusiasm

This booking we had a few ideas and time flew by and we actually ran over our arranged booking times just to get our finial set in

Another great shoot with Gemma. We have shot together many more times than I've written a reference here as I would be writing so many positive references for Gemma. I've told her this before and it's true, I would have her in every shoot if I could as she adds so much positive energy every time that we work together. She's a star.

I mistakenly gave her 130 extra as I mixed up the envelopes that I had set aside for models and she texted straight away to let me know. She sent me the money the next day.

Another delightful session with Gemma doing a duo shoot together with photographer Honeyman in my home in Perth and also out in my garden for a few shots. We produced such a striking mixture of lingerie, cosplay and fetish styles with Honeyman.

Gemma is really amazing at getting into character and just a joy to work alongside.

She is able to do a variety of styles from artistic and elegant to glamorous and alternative with the ability to rock any sort of weird and wonderful poses, really working hard at achieving the photographers vision. :)

Gemma is punctual, professional with great communications and is so bright and cheery, she requires no direction but is happy to listen to the photographers ideas.

Our shoot with Honeyman flew by and was very productive, I can't wait to see the finished results.

Highly recommended to all creatives, really inspiring and a wee star.

You will not be dissapointed.

My second shoot with this lovely lady doing a duo session with Murray Shots Photography at his home studio space in Edinburgh. We produced a fabulous mixture of lingerie, latex and fetish styles with Grant capturing an awesome selection of duo images of us together. :)

Gemma is lovely to pose alongside, her poses flowing with ease, she is very creative with lots of ideas, adaptable to the style and theme, always looking very presentable and turns up raring to go with tonnes of energy and enthusiasm.

Very friendly and wonderful company, between Gemma, myself and Murray Shots there was alot of banter, laughter and we had such a fun and productive shoot with really fabulous shots taken, another wicked session modeling alongside this hard working and amazing model and person.

Highly recommended. Thank you Gemma for another fab shoot together.

I don't really know how to best put this. I've only known Gemma for 2 short years and we've only worked together 4 times but it feels like she is part of my lifes journey now. I absolutely love working and spending time with Gemma. She breathes Sunshine into my life and my photography. As long as she's still modelling, I'll be booking shoots with her. Seriously though photographers, I'd get her booked as a Model soon because I feel she's the young photographer of the future who's going to blow everyone out of the water.

Was such a pleasure working with Irongem for the fifth time, on her Glasgow visit, comms before the shoot was excellent as usual.

Shooting with Irongem is very easy-going, excellent at posing and made the whole shoot a breeze even coming up with ideas too, She is always prepared and makes changeovers really quick and smooth.

100% looking forward to working with her again.Recommend to any photographer.

Irongem put out a casting for a shoot in a hotel in Glasgow and I was very grateful when she agreed to a booking from an unknown quantity of a landscape photographer by background. I brought along a couple of books by way of a mood board by Dahmane. We created some great images. Irongem is simply an amazing human being and I really enjoyed our conversation. I guess a good sign was that a few minutes before the end of the shoot we couldn’t believe that our 3 hours had simply flown by. Looking at the books Irongem had picked out some body scapes that she really liked from the mood board. Normally I like shooting with some good old fashioned Bowens but in a location hotel shoot some Rotalights just work - for the geeks I feel the grid is essential.

Anyway the image Irongem choose to post on PP was shot down a hotel wall with the light on the opposite side to me at about 170 degrees.

The shot Irongem posted really captured the essence of the shoot.

Irongem thanks for agreeing to the shoot. You are simply an amazing person with wonderful inner and outer beauty. It is a great honour that you posted an image we created together on the background of a really strong portfolio on PP with some wonderful photographers who are far more experienced than me. I had a two hour shoot with the amazing Gem during her trip to Glasgow in February 2022. This was our first time working together and I have to say that she was impressive from the outset. Communications were a dream; I had prepared a plan/moodboard and Gem had brought the perfect outfits to work with. She was incredibly patient while I was messing about with the lighting, posed beautifully, followed the flow to get the images and was friendly, chatty and funny while remaining focused on the shoot. I really appreciate Gem's hard work and commitment and I hope that we can work together again.

I had the opportunity to shoot with Irongem when a 2 hour slot became available at short notice so not much time for pre shoot communications but we were able to have a quick discussion before the shoot on a couple of ideas. Irongem was a pleasure to work with, professional, patient, has great personality and friendly. She had a variety of outfits on hand and was always keen to ensure she looked her best and paid attention to details. She was always willing to take directions as well as suggest poses.

I highly recommend Irongem and hope to be able to work with her again.

Worked with Irongem on her recent visit to Aberdeen, she arranged the city centre boutique hotel and I managed to grab a 2-hour slot.

Pre coms were spot on I found her organised, attractive and professional. She can work without or without direction engaging with ideas and adding her own energy throughout.

Had the good fortune to get a two hour time slot with Irongem when she came to do a model day event at my local studio, when i made contact with her about my shoot requirements she was most helpful with all my suggestions, on the day of the shoot she managed to do all the themes i had planned which got me some amazing footage, so if you are looking for a model that is such a fun person to work with and gives 100% with her modelling please give her a try.

What a pleasure it was to eventually get to work with Gemma on her recent trip to Aberdeen. We have been following each other on SM for some time but my availablity to shoot has been extremely limited.

Pre comms were great and it was agreed we would cover a range of lingerie, sheer & art nude styles during the shoot.

Gemma has such great energy, an amazing & fun personality and just a joy to work with. I was very happy with images we created together.

I would highly reccommend Gemma and will hopefully be arranging a further shoot in the not too distant future.
