Had a group shoot yesterday with another photographer and a couple other models! John turned up well prepared with ideas in mind.

It was the first time I had shot with John and it was very chilled and relaxed throughout. He was such a lovely person and very chatty and I was completely comfortable around him. He was very certain about the images he wanted to get and worked fast, which was out of my comfort zone, but I soon got into it! Due to health reasons I was a little self concious but he was completely understanding and sensitive, checking I was comfortable with everything!

I had a lovely day and cannot wait to see what the images come out like as I love his work! Would definatly recommend working with him. Thanks again for a lovely day big bear :)

I had a shoot with John yesterday evening. The shoot was very relaxed and professional. John was a great photographer to bounce ideas off and created a very light atmosphere. I've already started to receive edited images and they are sensational. Look forward to working with John in the future and would recommend.

It was my first shoot with John and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him. John is talkative ( which I love) friendly and polite man and as a photographer you couldn't ask for more professionalism and creativity.

We agreed to try to get strong,Italian look which I never done before but I think we naild it 😉I felt so comfortable with him that I didn't know when 4 hours were gone.

John provided me with great styling advice as well as with wide range of jewellery. Our favourite music was planning during shoot which was nice to get in the right mood.

Can't wait to book next shoot with him and gets creative!

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hours I shared with John at Studio Hire Plymouth yesterday. He obviously knows a great deal about lighting, and produced some lovely results. Between shots we was chatty, friendly and a total gent. Highly recommended and I hope to work with him again.

I had my second shoot with John on Sunday. First one was a year ago ( ! ) and I don`t know why we were waiting so long to book next shoot as results from both shoots are amazing! I`m very pleased with the pre shoot communications and the whole shoot was very well organised. John was changing light setup a few times durig the shoot which gave us a such a diffrent mood. Shoot was fun and relaxed and John provided us with a lovley lunch as well.

Great to see when a photographer is pleased with what he already can see on BTC ( he made his happy dance ) ;)

I didn`t have to wait for images long as I recived first pic on the next day after shoot. I`m very pleased with the outcome!

Hope we dont have to wait for shoot no.3 all year ;)

I had the pleasure of shooting with the wonderful John, he was such an energetic & polite gentleman. He was talkative, courteous, had lots of ideas & was very encouraging & positive throughout.

He is such a lovely hearted man, provided me with lunch & money for a taxi back to the station (completely off his own back!) he was an absolute pleasure to work with and would happily & highly recommend him to any model.

Had a shoot with the very lovely john ivey on thursday, John is an exceptionally talented photographer who ive worked with now on several occasions and he never lets me down. He had his ideas he was after and surprisingly good at styling ;-) We decided to go along the sea front (brave in january) but despite being freezing cold and falling over in the sea this was a cracking shoot with a huge amount of giggles, You will not be dissappointed with john, always the professional however so much fun and inside a big kid.....we even had a go on the zip wires in the park. Every shoot i have done with john has been amazing and weve achieved great results and i now think of john as a friend as well as a photographer.

If you are considering a shoot with John, please dont hesitate as hes not only a fantastic photographer but genuinally one of lifes good guys

Worked with John for 2 hours at Studio Hire. We worked through two themes, fashion nude and high key art nudes.

It's very apparent John is confident with lighting as we created some beautiful images from the session.

He is a really easy person to get on with, friendly, fun and chatty which made the session fly by.

I'd highly recommend John and would love to work with him again!

I worked with JayJay Photography on a studio day I did at Plymouth studio hire, he was super friendly from the word go, very easy to communicate with he told me the sort of feel he wanted for each of the shots and then let me do my own thing, which i found very helpful (i prefer when poses aren't micro managed as they tend to end up stiff) the couple of hours we shot together just flew by, which is a great indicator of a successful shoot, I really like the shots i've seen so far and hope to see many more! ♥

I worked with the lovely Jay for the first time on a recent tour of mine to the area- and what a lovely, FUN and greatly enjoyable shoot it was! :) Jay had kindly booked a local studio and we had so much fun working together, with the shoot full of banter, creativity and general madness! Jay is great to work with- kind, considerate, fun but very professional and allowed me to bring my own creativity to the shoot mixed with his own ideas and beautiful accessories he had bought along to the shoot also. His assistant was also lovely and a gentleman to work with. Jays lighting and thought into the shoot is also fantastic.

We had a blast together and I went away smiling- thankyou for a lovely day and hope to work with you both again soon :) Highly reocmmended, Helen x

John was excellent with communication; always rapidly responding to my messages and being incredibly helpful with any questions that I had. When arriving at the studio John was already there starting to set up and sat down with me to chat about the day ahead, making my feel comfortable and welcomed and making sure that I was ok with the ideas. He also had the mood board that I had created open on his tablet which was very useful and showed his good organisation.

I am thrilled with the images that we created together and he has been wonderful with emailing me high resolution images and keeping me up to date with how he is getting on with retouching and editing. I would definitely recommend John and hope to be shooting with him again!

Second time I have worked with John at Studio hire Plymouth and again he was wonderful to work with.

John is laid back, good company yet professional throughout the shoot.

I loved all of his ideas which made for some strong imagery and one has even got an FPI very soon after he uploaded it to his port, very pleased :)

Another superb and extremley fun shoot with John today. I always look forward to our shoots as he is professional but brings fun and energy along with him. He let me see some of the BOC shots and i love them already. I stepped a little out of my comfort zone today and tried a slightly different style and there is no one i would have rather tried it with as he always makes me feel comfortable and treats models respectfully. With that in mind it is much easier to produce great results which im hoping we have. Look forward to working with him again very soon :-)

Had an absolute pleasure of shooting with John at Studio Hire Plymouth. John is an amazing photographer that is professional, easy going and friendly. In a short space of time we managed to get through a lot of sets. I particularly enjoyed the last set! Whilst shooting John came up with great lighting set up's and allowed me to pose freely. An enjoyable shoot and I do hope we are able to work together again one day. Recommended to all.

Another amazing shoot with John today, i feel very blessed and honored that he wanted to work with me again. He is an amazing photographer and full of fun. Fantastic communication, even though it was a last minute decision. He always makes sure you are comfortable and happy, professional in every sense of the word.
