Just had my second shoot with John Yday, again I couldn't recommend enough, such a lovely photographer to work with, know's exactly what to do and works at a remarkably quick and convenient pace, you can tell he has perfected his skill. We produced great photo's with the help of the amazing SS creative studio.

So refreshing to work with a photographer who knows exactly what angles and lighting to use to achieve the perfect shot. I am so pleased with the images we created that I cannot wait to work with John again.

I haven't worked with many photographers that offer a lot of direction and suggestions.. however, John is really good at communicating what I ought to be doing to get that fantastic shot.

I want to thank John for working with me again and say that he comes extremely highly recommend. He is patient, a lovely person and I felt like he helped me learn a lot on our shoot; I hope I can continue learning more. I like that he can use a variety of set ups. And while they were not involved in he shoot, I really like his interest in film photography and strange lenses.

Looking hough the pictures I love so many of them and it is genuinely hard to pick favorites. He is understanding and willing to help people which is the kind of person we always need more of.

New Upper Mills Studios

I was delighted to host John and his model Soria in the Studio this week. They knew what they wanted to achieve and made the best of the facilities and the available natural light and from what I saw created some lovely images. John had a great rapport with his model and I have no hesitation in recommending him to both other studios and other models alike. A gentleman personified who knows what to do with his camera!

I had the pleasure of working with John on a Joint shoot with the very lovely Vampire Princess as our model. I have worked with John on several occasions before but each time with John wearing his tutor's hat (he's an excellent tutor,see his JD tuition port).

It was great to see John wearing his photographers hat,(not literally of course, no real hats were involved).

John is a remarkably talented and knowledgeable photographer. It was fascinating watching him work. The images he produces "in camera" are amazing and his ability to find the "right shot" is enviable. He is very kind and considerate, both with the models he works with and other photographers. offering helpful advice and suggestions when needed and giving everybody time to achieve their individual goals.

Read some of Johns other reviews, they all agree, he's a really kind intelligent, generous, thoroughly likeable gentleman.

Don't hesitate, if you have the opportunity to work with him, grab it.

Effortless recommendation and Im looking forward to our next adventure.

I love working with John because not only is he a great Photogarper he’s also a great person. He always make me feel at ease and makes sure I’m ok and fully comfortable (getting me lunch, making sure I’m warm enough and supplying me with coffee!) he’s also super creative when it comes to shots and every set we’ve done is different and fun!

Another superb shoot with John today . However extremely cold in the studio John had booked . It got to the point where I was way to cold to pose .

We did a number of sets which I thoroughly enjoyed. The images I’ve had back so far have been awesome.

Tink Kaos

Had a shoot with John recently - the first of many I hope - in the Thatcham area, shooting in the forest, and inside the rather quirky house he occasionally shoots from. What a wonderful shoot!

John is very chatty, creative, funny and honest - found him extraordinarily comfortable to work with, and he made sure I was warm, keeping the coffee and biscuits refilled. The images look incredible too! Had such an awesome time.

Highly recommended to all models.

Who knew wet clay could be so fun!

John messaged me about a wet clay shoot and of course I said yes! I love anything a bit different!

Johns pre coms were excellent and we had a great plan of how we were gonna spend the day,

The shoot itself was excellent we did a few portraits first and John showed me one of the old cameras he used and spoke me through it. I learnt a lot about how cameras work and lighting that day to.

We then went on to the wet clay.

During the time John made sure I was ok and warm enough all the way through it! John made

Me feel so comfortable during the whole process to.

If you want a fun shoot that’s something a little bit more fun and out there I can’t recommend John enough!

And I can’t wait to create some more

Had a fun shoot with John. Very laid back with plenty of energy and creative vibes. I really enjoy a shoot when the photograpber creates the effects in camera and with that John has plenty of lenses to bring something new to a shoot.

Had my first shoot with John. It was a brilliant shoot with a lot of great ideas that were thrown between both of us but mostly the excessive use of John and his many cameras made the shoot really great.

All communications prior and after the shoot was great and I am super happy with what I have seen so far.

John also was easy to get on with and we spoke more than just photography and spoke about music taste and the mutual love for my fluffy bunny.

He comes very highly recommended from me and I am very much looking forward to working with him in the future.
