References for Kacie Belle

I will keep this short and sweet.

My photo-mojo has been slipping of late. ‘Should I really be continuing with this model-tograhy lark?’ I have pondered. Then along comes Kacie. A bit of messaging over the months led to a primarily pin-up shoot at J9 Studios.

What I need is -

a model who ‘gets’ the pin-up vibe - Kacie has it;

a model who has done her homework - Kacie has practised with a Gil Elvgen book and mirror I imagine;

a model who contributes to the ideas and sets the way Kacie does;

a model who gets her make up spot on – Kacie knows her stuff;

a model who knows the hairdo’s and how to achieve them - like Kacie;

a model who can make our studio outfits sing – Kacie is stunning in everything we tried.

On top of this, whatever style you’re after, you’ll get Kacie’s infectious personality, charm, chatter, enthusiasm and dedication.

Whoops, that wasn’t short, but I hope it was sweet.

What can I say about this amazing girl. From the start me and her got on like a house on fire. She arrived on time and was an absolute diamond of a girl. Her friendly nature and chat made the shoot that much more enjoyable. Every single pose was effortless. She needs no direction at all and literally owned every photo. Great professionalism to boot. From start to finish we spoke as if we had known each other for years. I consider it a huge privilege to have been able to work alongside this fantastic young lady. We've tried to shoot a couple of times in the past but for various reasons things didn't work out.

Kacie was determined to make the 3rd attempt work even if it included a long train journey and all pre-shoot comms were perfect and better than most.

After a cuppa to get to know each other a little, Kacie was a delight to work with, effortlessly creating incredible posses between shutter clicks. As a person she is a delightlful young woman and I can't wait to work with her again in the near future (already discussing the next shoot).

If you are hesitating shooting with Kacie don't ... she is a refreshing delight to the model world !

Preshoot comms was informative and left nothing for miss interpretation which I found great. Once Kacie turned up, the first thing we done was have a cuppa and talk about the shoot, what each of us likes and dislikes. At all times before, during and after the shoot, Kacie was an absolute diamond within everything she was working on.

This was my second shoot with Kacie, she kept me up to date with travel arrangements etc, and pre-shoot comms were excellent again.

Working with Kacie is so easy, she is the total professional, she is kind and friendly. We chatted loads again (always deep and meaninful) lots of laughs to go with it.

Kacie came prepared with her Mary Poppins bag, the clothes kept coming and coming from this small bag. Time flew by and we are already working on the next shoot and ideas are flowing already. The images are just just amazing again.

Kacie is a creative wonderful individual who is bubbly and enthusiastic when shooting, she is great company throughout the shoot has a great sense of humour and has a passion to get things right. Whilst we had a concept for the shoot we winged it at times and Kacie went with the flow as well as adding ideas as we progressed. I had the pleasure of an all-day shoot with Kacie. Well... it wasn't just a shoot. It was an experience. She's bl**dy brilliant!

As you can see from her pictures, Kacie has striking looks, a slim, toned figure, flawless skin and a shed-load of individuality. But there's much more to her than just that. For starters, she's experienced, hugely creative, enthusiastic, energetic, and has a wonderful wardrobe and a great eye for styling. My first shoot with Kacie, at my studio in Birmingham.

We'd agreed the themes in advance, and pre-shoot comms were great.

Kacie arrived promptly, already made-up, with a selection of outfits fitting the themes.

We'd planned some period-themed sets (including 40s pinup), and a contemporary boudoir set. Kacie posed beautifully and creatively for all of them, and the time just flew by.

This was my second shoot with Kacie. She successfully negotiated a tricky public transport situation, arrived on time, in good humour and ready to shoot.

This session was as perfect as the first one. Kacie brought some really classy outfits that fitted the brief.

Kacie takes direction very well and is able to create the mood needed. She was able to make subtle changes in expression which helped create many different looks.

Knowing that Kacie would be moving from the Bath area soon I thought I'd arrange a shoot with her before it was too late. That's the only excuse I've got for making her stand around and smile in sub-zero temperatures. It is a testament to her ability and professionalism that she made the images look like they were taken in June rather than January. Over the last few days I had a shoot planned with Kacie, we discussed ideas and had a plan! I was kept up to date on every step even with a train cancellation, Kacie was well ahead of the game.

I don't think we stopped chatting from the moment we met, Kacie is down to earth, easy going, fun, confident and a genuine lovely person. Add to that 100% professional and hard working.

She came prepared with several outfits and a natural flare. Kacie is so easy to work with as soon as the camera is ready, she is into beautiful poses and gracefully. No direction needed, she just nailed the poses and they came out amazing.

Kacie is an amazing and kind model, I can not recommend her highly enough. I really hope to work with her again soon, as we discussed more ideas throughout the shoot, I really hope to capture these before she moves away.

I had an absolutely delightful time working with the wonderful Kacie Belle during an evening session at HappyJacks Studio in Birmingham.

She was so bright and enthusiastic I absolutely could not believe she'd been shooting all day, running about the studio, organising her own shoots and still had the energy for yet another shoot on top! Her upbeat personality is infectious and so kind, always checking to make sure I was comfortable and well cared for with drinks and even environment temperature!

I absolutely LOVE her fluidity when it came to outfits and styling, she had all outfits well prepared and organised and was able to clearly explain what was available and suggested her own ideas and combinations too. Her posing was fantastic and spending the session to the sound of an 80s throwback playlist made the vibe that much more fun.
