I have worked with Ken a few times over the past couple of years and each time has been a joy :)

Our shoots have varied dramatically from theme to venue but always with a constant of Ken's meticulous eye for detail and creating beautiful imagery.

On this shoot we worked in his home studio, which would make every photographer on pp green with envy! Flooded with stunning natural light even on a gloomy day the space is fully equipped with backdrops, lighting and props from all over the world and not to mention for those models who love to play dress up like myself, he has his own walk in wardrobe room devoted to vintage dresses, beautiful blouses and of course Ken's very large collection of hats!

To say I enjoy working with this awesome photographer is an understatement, now 2 years and counting since our first shoot, I hope we get the chance to create more in coming years.

I am sure I have said it before but I cannot recommend him highly enough, If you get the chance to shoot together, go for it as you will regret it if you don't!

Thank you Ken for hosting me and Kie in your lovely home for a couple of days, it was a lovely weekend and great to see you again :)

Brilliant first shoot with Ken! He has such a beautiful home, I think I could shoot there all day! We got some cracking imagery and he provided a lot of good conversation and snacks (always a bonus in my books!)

Highly recommended and would love to shoot with again! :)

I worked with Ken the second time this year, we first worked together around nine years ago - which is madness! He lives in a huge house in Weymouth filled with props, accessories and clothing galore! Ken is a highly personable and hospitable guy. I travelled down from Cardiff and he kindly offered to put me up overnight which I was really grateful for. I really enjoy his company (he's knowledgeable in all sorts of subjects!) and relaxed shooting style. He makes great images whilst making sure the model is enjoying the creative process and having input on the concept and poses! I recommend him highly. Thank you Ken! :)

I had an absolutely wonderful shoot with Ken. He picked me up from the station, and he was happy to make me tea and lunch. We talked a lot before the shoot which helped me get to understand his style and inspiration more- and this also helped us to get comfortable with eachother. He has a fabulous space and wardrobe for shooting, and I felt enthusiastic and excited about the ideas he suggested. I'm looking forward to shooting with Ken again in the future!

It was a real pleasure shooting with Ken again after so many years in his stunning home.

Ken is a wonderful creative spirit and a very interesting person to talk to which resulted in a very enjoyable and relaxed shoot.

The theme was rustic french boudoir and due to his very unique and beautiful style of photography and he captured some wonderful artistic images.

He was also very considerate, making sure I was warm and providing coffee and some lovely food :)

I would highly recommended Ken to all creatives, and really look forward to working together again.

I had a wonderful stay and shoot with Ken .

First off I was really looking forward to meeting Ken and seeing what we would produce and I wasn't disappointed . Ken is a lovely person and an excellent host despite what he might say , his home is stunning . He accommodated all my needs from adjusting times to suit me and allowing m to shoot at his home . Ken is also an great cook and fed me until I couldn't any more . Ken is also great at noticing when I'm need of a cup of tea too ;) Ken is such an intresting person and I enjoyed his company throughly , he even took me for a drive around . This was great for me as I rarely get to see im place im staying so I appreciated this tons .

Ken and I shot for only a few hours with plenty of breaks but we got through a few varied sets and his talents shined through . Ken has an eye for the shot he wants and directs to the model to get that shot . So there is no messing around , a few snaps , get the shot and next . His concepts are always great too , his set design , and styling . I have seen a few pictures already and they are stunning . Ken is a very talented individual .

WoW!!!!! I still don't think it has sunk in yet!! I had the most amazing opportunity to go to India with the incredible Ken for 3 weeks through Sept. I am still lost for words. Firstly I must say a huge thanks to Ken for this once in a lifetime chance, I had the most incredible time travelling with you and I know I have made a true friend :)

Sooo ... we flew out on the 9th Sept and headed for Kashmir for our first week. We stayed on a beautiful heritage houseboat on Lake Nageen that looked out across the lake to the foothills of the Himalayas. Whilst in Kashmir we explored the local surroundings, as well as took a few trips out to the mountains and Lake Dal. We did a nice variety of shoots in and around the house boat including a flower boat ride with the courtesy of a local flower man. Ken brought along 2 lovely vintage gowns which we shot in a variety of places from flower boats, house boats to riding in a Tuk Tuk :) Our time in Kashmir was relaxed shooting, I didn't feel pressure to shoot but knowing how awesome he is you do just want to shoot all the time!

After a week in Kashmir we flew back to Dehli to meet up with Silk, it was lush to have another model join us as we headed over to Udaipur for a week.

The Haveli Ken booked in Udaipur was so different from the house boat, it was modern but had kept beautiful features throughout, it also had a lovely rooftop terrace with an awesome view.

On our first night we went for a wander to get our bearings, Ken couldn't have chosen a better time to visit this lovely city as they were celebrating the festival of Ganesh. All the locals were full of light, laughter and colour. The atmosphere of India and its culture surrounded us in joy :)

On the second day Ken took us out shopping to gather some nice garments to shoot in, this was a kind gesture and we got some stunning pieces! As we wandered the streets we did a few small shoots and collected ideas for further shoots. Ken made sure we did some nice tourist things too and took us to visit the city Palace and we also had a day trip out to the temples. Unfortunately our day at the temples was cut short by horrible weather, of course us Welsh models would bring the rain to India with us!

After spending a week in Udaipur exploring, shooting and just having a good giggle Ken flew us to Jaipur the pink city for the last week of our trip. It is amazing how each place is so different from the last! Our accommodation here was sooo pretty! I really do appreciate all the effort Ken put in to making sure our stay was organised well and we were looked after. He really is a true gent!

Jaipur is a much bigger city than Udaipur and hustle bustle is never ending. Ken had arranged us a Tuk Tuk driver called Sonu for the duration of our stay. It was fab to have a nice local that knew the area and could be depended on to show us the best places :)

Again we had a nice balance of tourist sightseeing alongside shooting. We visited the Amber fort and some more temples as well as met some elephants. One of my favourite places to date though has to be the step well, you seen pictures of it but don't realise the awesome scale until you see it.

I couldn't believe how quickly the time passed us and before we knew it, it was time to go home. I could have easily stayed in India for a few more months.

Ken wasn't just a great host, friend, photographer and travel companion but a true inspiration. He has helped inspire me with art and photography again. Opening my mind to new horizons and opportunities. I cannot thank him enough for this trip and I am so glad that my first trip to India was with him, thank you!

Well firstly I have to say I have wanted to work with Ken since I joined purple port, many moons ago and finally after 4 years we got the chance. I am still buzzing!

Ken was kind enough to pick me up from the station and host me for a few days in his beautiful home. His home is next level amazing, with a whole room of props and costumes and every photographers dream studio that is flooded with natural light.

Our shoot went like a dream. Ken was well prepared with his studio already set up and notes on what he wanted to achieve with our time together.

We made our way through each idea with more and more enthusiasm for the next. I could have shot with Ken for a month and we would still be buzzing with new ideas.

I am looking forward to working with this true artist again, he really is a pleasure to be around. He is intelligent, witty and creative all the best things :)

Thank you for a lovely time and for being the perfect host. I am sure we will see each other again soon!

Ken P answered my casting call for this weekend and I couldn't be any happier about it!!!

Words almost fail me when trying to describe how amazing today was, even if we did spend the majority of it chatting. To say he is highly fascinating and intelligent is an understatment, and a super talented photographer who is full of ideas!

I enjoyed every minute of it and would shoot with him again in a heart beat. He is welcoming, a gent (even carried my bags for me) great company and a fab tea maker... :)

His house is quite possibly the most interesting and beautiful place I have been in, and you couldn't ask for a more varied range of props and clothing.

100% recommend by me, don't pass any chance to work with Ken!

I finally got to work with Ken...well we worked together a few years back on a group event but this time is was much more special and creative.

I modelled with my friend and fellow model Artemis Fauna, Ken booked us for a duo shoot while we were down in Dorest.

Ken is a pleasure to work with, as well as being talented and creative photographer, he is also a great host and put me and Artemis up for a couple nights at his lovely home while we had work in the area, which was much a appreciated.

Ken planned the shoot really well, provided references images, styling and brilliant backdrops throughout the shoot.

The images that have come out of the day are simply beautiful, just like painting you could hang on you're wall.

It was a real pleasure to spend some time with Ken and model for him, thanks for having us.

Artemis Fauna

Ken has been kind enough to put me up at his lovely home a couple of times recently so I wanted to do a little updated reference for him!

Last month Carla Monaco and myself stayed and shot with Ken- we had a great shoot creating some Sarah Moon and Hamilton styled images. I love the results!

We also covered some of his house in bits of clay and white paint- but not an utter of complaint from him, at least I don't think so ;)

Last week I returned and had two shoots at Kens home. I love shooting there and am ALWAYS well looked after. Delicious food, wine, breakfast, access to his props and rooms, I'm very lucky indeed!

I have always been intrigued by Ken’s unique photography style and loved being invited in to his beautiful home with a vast array of interesting props! I shot with Ken in his beautiful home studio. I'm pretty sure he's running his own prop factory, he has so many gorgeous and unusual things!

The shoot itself was very relaxed. He was very patient with my newbie-like behaviour after being on a long break from modelling, and was very good at offering direction, and had a clear vision of what he wanted. His attention to detail and creativity really is amazing.

We had plenty of breaks, food and cups of tea. He's very professional but also has a cracking sense of humour - all in all, a really enjoyable shoot.

I'd happily work with Ken again, and highly recommend him to others.

I had such a wonderful shoot with Ken at his home and studio area, such great natural light and the setting was just beautiful! I was so excited to be contacted by Ken as I had admired his work featuring other models I know and look up to. I absolutely love his style and attention to detail. I absolutely cannot wait to shoot with Ken again in his wonderful location, so full of potential my brain almost exploded from all the ideas you could do in this place.

I was absolutely blown away by the shoot I had with Ken today. I have never encountered such amazing precision to detail from a photographer!

After being offered a very yummy sandwich when I arrived and looking over some ideas we got straight to shooting.

Firstly I highly recommend if anyone has the chance to do a shoot in his home studio they should jump at the opportunity, what a location for a shoot! We were able to create timeless shots while others incorporated the era of the decor which worked beautifully.

I was thoroughly impressed with how the lighting and angles turned out, thanks to his attention to detail it took only one or two attempts to get the perfect shot. I loved experimenting with the different rooms and clothing he had, and also embodying styles I had never tried before.

The day as a whole was very relaxing with plenty of breaks and chatting, I had a lot of fun and felt in a comfortable and professional environment the whole time.

I highly recommend Ken, just hope his schedule doesn't get too booked up so we can arrange another shoot soon!

Artemis Fauna

Despite the fact Ken and I had never worked together before (we had met twice) I got an email out of the blue quite a few months ago now asking me if I might like to fly over to India to shoot with him...

I had always wondered why Ken hadn't shot me before (and wasn't shy about asking-!) but to be honest, I'm glad we waited and it worked out how it did... I agreed (of course) and we spent 10 fabulous days shooting in India!!

Throughout the trip I was extremely well looked after. I never felt pushed to do anything, out of my comfort zone (in a bad way...well, posing between two huge elephants in crazy heat wasn't comfortable, but a cool challenge) Oh and I felt safe (minus the crazy Indian traffic) at all times.

We had no plan, but it all worked. We knew roughly what we wanted to do but really did just roll with it. I think there was a good understanding between the two of us with what our 'aims' were (sometimes without words needed) which was a huge help throughout the trip.

We got a lot done but I never felt rushed off my feet. The heat was tough to work in with shoot makeup/ layers on but we made sure we took breaks and ate very well. I probably put on weight out there! Haha ;)

All in all it was an incredible trip. I sometimes wonder if it actually happened for real-! I love the shots and will treasure the memories for the rest of my life.

I had my first shoot with Ken yesterday and I loved it!

He very kindly picked me up from the train station. We were able to chat on the way back to his house AND listen to Pink Floyd 😃

Ken has a wonderful house to shoot in, I was amazed. He showed me around all the different rooms, he also showed me some furniture he owns because I told him my interest in upholstery and interior design! Hehe 🙂

We shot some great photos, I was very pleased and honoured as I am a big fan of Ken's work.

I had a fantastic day.

Ken is wonderful company, made sure I was hydrated throughout the day and supplied me with some lunch!

Ken is a creative photographer and stylist, he also gave me some advice for my own portfolio which I was hugely grateful for.

Highly recommend Ken, for stunning photographs and a lovely day!
