My second time at Platts Eyot with Christian and Shaun. I just love this place- you cannot ever cover the endless permutations of locations across this island. Shaun and Christian - the excellent hosts as always. Lots of help and guidance always available along with chat and socialising with like minded people.

Just looking so much to going to the next event here.

wow time flies, I hadn't realised it had been a month since I shot here. A great location, Christian showed the model and myself around the island. What a place to shoot, as many ideas I couldn't cover in a day so I will be back. Christian was very friendly and helpful, definitely a place to go shoot, I will be back. Simon

I shot on the Island for the second time last week. First time was a group shoot, but this shoot was a one to one with Gem. There are so many places to shoot on the Island - lots of interesting backdrops, areas where the natural light is fantastic etc.

It's a photographers dream!

Highly recommended.

Russb came across this awesome studio by chance on port .

We were met by Shaun one of the studio owners. He took us across to the island Platts Eyott. He showed us round the island and all the best locations where we could shoot. The island is JUST WOW:-)

There are some incredible areas on the island that we used as back drops, the boats moored up around the island created some great props so to speak. As I'd decided to get onto one to the boats to do a certain style of images. I'm sure Russ thought I was on the Titanic lol :-)

The island has unusual areas that were also fantastic to shoot in.

The lighting studio was awesome too.

Shaun made sure we were treated well. Very hospitable. I even got offered a beer which I thought was really cool :-)

Platts Eyott is one of the best locations I've shot at so far .

Would I recommend the studio. HELL YES 💯 % .

Not only that but Christian is such a helpful friendly guy that will go that extra mile to ensure that you get exactly what you want from your time there.

All things considered, an awesome place to shoot & will definitely be looking to return very soon.

I attended a model day at Lewis llyod and wow I had such an amazing time! They both made me feel at home straight away and looked after me very well for the whole duration of the day. The whole set up of the day was really impressive with how it was run. The island was just amazing to shoot on with so many great areas for great shoot opportunities you could go from edgy to pretty within a couple of minutes walk! I first met Christian briefly, as he introduced the island of Plats Eyott to Photographer Symesey and I around the Island. After seeing my work on here with Symesey, Christian had an idea of having myself as a model on a group day. It went fantastically, both AM outside with Shaun and PM inside in their "fixer upper" studio. Christian had a fab idea of recreating Flamenco dance, so I joined him again 1-1 at the studio just 4 days after the group shoot! Great photographer, clear passion and vision.

Will look forward to developing more sparks of imagination with him when we are both back from holidays. Thanks!

I applied to run a couple of group shoots on Platts Eyot, as the island is such a cool and unusual location, and it is great to have somewhere with location art nude options without being worried about getting caught and yelled at! Both group sessions sold out which was great, and Shaun and Christian assisted in my planning and looked after me well during my time on the island. The weather sadly didn't play ball in the afternoon so we did have to come up with Plan B locations but Christian (who was assisting me with that session) came up with good options. I returned the day after for a 1-2-1 booking on the island as well, and Christian assisted the photographer and I with that shoot as well. I'd be happy to shoot on the island again :)

Had a group shoot today at Platts Eyot Island Hampton!! EXCITING !! Christian picked me up from Hampton Station when I had arrived for the day which I thought was very kind so thank you! I enjoyed my time there today, it’s different and unique to your normal studio or location to shoot in which is great because I enjoy the more outside natural light shots and not only that there is so many different places to shoot that we didn't get to cover it all in six/seven hours so you have plenty of places to play around with inside and out! My favorite bit I have to say was the nice boat, the one we had in the morning (Christian will know the one!)

Christian and Shaun done a very good job in making me feel welcomed, also fed and watered. They were very good hosts and I hope to come back there sometime soon! Christian is such a great guy and I recommend the island and not only that his amazing photography! So take a peek when you get a chance. Shaun definitely has the eye for good images, as you can see by his quality portfolio! I'd like to thank everyone for today it was a great shoot day with some awesome creatives! The photographers that stood out for me today and don't be offended if I have not written you down... I am not being mean I promise, so the people that stood out are.. mervynshoots (Mervyn), msdiphotography (Luis) and Alan Conteh Photography! So thank you for making this day that little bit extra :D you have a happy model

This was my first visit to Platt's Eyot, to take part in a group shoot with model Em Theresa. I was greeted in the car park by Christian, who made me feel very welcome, and introduced me to Shaun who made me feel equally welcome!

The locations available to shoot in on the island are great, and Shaun's assistance with lighting and 'tour guiding' was spot on. Many thanks, and I hope to visit again!

My first visit to Platts Eyot island was a memorable one, and I can't wait to get back. It's a must shoot location for every photographer, amateur or pro. I recommend you try it soon.

My first few minutes on the Island were crazy. Every where I turned seemed to be the perfect setting for a shot. Really, the only limit here is your creativity, there is so much you can do on the Island.

Christian and Shaun were the hosts for the afternoon group shoot I did. You can't ask for any better. You feel welcomed from the moment you set foot on the Island and you find reasons not to leave. They are very easy to talk to and they are very engaging. Also very helpful and as accomplished photographers themselves, they understand your needs.

Platts Eyot is available for both group and solo shoots and I'm certain that Christian and Shaun (LewisLlyod) will be seeing me there again soon. They are highly recommended!

Had a great shoot on Platts Island on Saturday. Despite the rain, the guys there accommodated us with several dry options of where to shoot and we got some awesome shots from our three hour slot with the lovely Helen-Rose. The Island has many beautiful places to shoot and I look forward to a return soon. Will Definitely be back! Thanks a lot.KJ

Had my first shoot at Platts Eyot yesterday. Christian was there to meet us, myself and Loulabelle🌟. Christian was extremely welcoming and took time to give us a whistle-stop tour of the island. Wow! what a lot of scope this place has, with countless little nooks and crannies to be creative in/with :-)

This was my 1st shoot on Platts Eyot, very well hosted by Christian and Shaun from the LewisLloyd studio.

I discovered LewisLloyd, and thus Platts Eyot, while looking for studios in the SW London area. I was already aware of the island having grown up in the area some 40 years previously but knew it only as a private island with even then slowly deteriorating buildings left over from the second world war. A little background research immediately attracted me to the feel of the island as a place to shoot today and when I offered it to Freespirit she was equally enthused with it as a location for our dance inspired shoot. The history of the island is well worth reading before you arrive.

LewisLloyd have a studio on the island in one of the old stores from WW2 times. While certainly not an attractive building it is functional, has power and provides a very suitable base for working on the island and a fair ‘Plan B’ in the event of poor weather. By renting the studio, you gain access to the island.

My pre-shoot communication, mainly through Christian, was good and I was glad of his understanding while I finalised arrangements with both parties at fairly short notice while Freespirit abroad with limited connectivity.

Shaun met us on arrival and provided a very useful tour of the island before we started. You are well advised to build a tour into your shooting plans so you understand the layout and where you can safely shoot. Many buildings are still in use and some others are in a dubious condition. Shaun supported our shoot for a time with his portable lighting, which proved most useful. Christian also called in on us and supported our activities for a while. Both are very amiable and flexible about our plans; they readily agreed to us extending beyond the originally agreed time.

Freespirit and I were very glad to have booked the shoot on the island. We were blessed with good weather and despite extending the shoot we don’t feel we exhausted the possibilities there. We both want to return.

This is a belated reference, but I had a fantastic first shoot on Platt's Eyot island, together with the lovely and talented photographer Wavepower (Alan). When Alan suggested the island as a location for our shoot, I jumped at the chance to work in such a unique setting, and I vastly enjoyed looking through pictures of the island and learning something of its history as part of my research.

On the day of the shoot,Shaun met us on arrival and provided a very useful tour of the island before we started. I had my 1st group shoot as a hobbyist tog at this stunning amazing Beautiful Island on the Thames, Its got carma, charm, vibration nostalga,nature, life. Cristian and Shaun were very helpfull supportive loaned me a lens and flash trigger plus advice. The models and photograpers gave the same support,

I attended another group shoot by Lewislloyd on the island in Hampton, I have bean to the island many times but still find new ways to shoot it and last week was one of the best. Great weather amazing model Jessica megan and a good group of togs made the shoot fly by, looking forward to the next shoot.

Communication with LewisLloyd was easy and happy to say they gathered a polite and respectful group of photographers to work with. We spent the day on the urban/natural wonder of Platts Eyot Island around the River Thames, there was plenty of optimum background and derelict boats. We shot high fashion and all were very helpful in selecting outfits and getting the most out of the day.

There were no issues with travelling to the location and They were very helpful in advising on travel to the location as well as parking, thanks very much to LewisLloyd for such a pleasant day.

My second group shoot on Pletts Eyot island organised by Christian and Shaun today. For me, the whole session went well started mid afternoon and ended with a nice BBQ around 8pm. Their organisation with three models @Gem, @Shunni and @MelleKiou worked well with all models worked hard also having fun. A great day, Thank you both.
