This was my third time shooting with Lily-Mae, and our first time working together in a studio setting. Lily-Mae was as punctual as ever, turning up with her bike and a case full of outfits for the shoot. Lily-Mae is a keen sportswoman and her bike is her pride and joy, so we had come up with some ideas in advance of the kind of shots we wanted - a truly collaborative shoot!

As I am relatively experienced with studio lighting, I was a little flustered at times when the lighting effects I wanted were proving hard to achieve, but Lily-Mae was incredibly patient with me, and also happy to make creative suggestions as well. Not once did she look bored or impatient, and this really helped set me at ease.

Once we felt we had achieved the images we wanted with the bike and cycle gear, Lily-Mae was happy to give me a hand with a quick change of background and lighting set-up, and we then rattled off a couple more sets in different outfits - she is the queen of the quick change!

As I have said before, shooting with Lily-Mae is like shooting with a little sister. Shoots are always incredibly fun and full of laughs, but this does mean that sadly the time flies by. Lily-Mae will always be top of my list as a model and collaborator, although it saddens me deeply that this 'partnership' may now be at an end as Lily-Mae is probably going off travelling again very soon. However, I will never forget her and will always be grateful for the confidence she has given me as a photographer, and I want to be first in line to shoot with her on her eventual return to the UK.

A first shoot with the enchanting and beautiful Lily-Mae. An incredibly accomplished young woman in several fields already, she is now bringing her drive, enthusiasm and talent to modelling. Still new to the art, she is always looking to improve and develop her natural abilities. She adapts quickly to direction when needed, which is rarely.

We flew down to Bolt Head, just outside Salcombe, Devon and shot on the cliffs thereabouts. A challenging day, with harsh light, but a stunning location and a great model. Then Lily-Mae flew me home - yes, she has a pilot's licence - talk about making the model do all the work!

An inspirational and hugely talented person, Lily-Mae is someone I have been truly privileged to meet and to shoot. Thank you, Lily-Mae, I cannot wait for the next opportunity, today was memorably fabulous!

I had my second shoot with Lily-Mae this morning, this time a location shoot in London. We agreed on an early start as Lily-Mae had other plans for the afternoon, and Lily-Mae was ready and waiting when I turned up at 7:20am to drive us both to the nearest train station. Even without a camera pointing at her, Lily-Mae is great company, and only a small part of the journey was spent planning the shoot. Our train was held up outside of Waterloo for some time, and I was concerned that every minute extra was one less for our shoot, but Lily-Mae was calmness personified, and was not at all bothered about the delay.

Once we eventually arrived in London, we spent a few hours wandering the streets and alleyways around the Brick Lane and Shoreditch area, looking for interesting locations. As is her habit, Lily-Mae brought a bad of clothing with her, so we could try a variety of looks throughout the morning. Lily-Mae gets cold very easy, but this never stopped her from disrobing down to a vest top when asked, and she didn't complain once.

Half way around the route I had planned, I was getting concerned that the clock was ticking, but Lily-Mae, ever the professional, reassured me that everything was fine and she would prefer to delay her plans for the afternoon rather than rush through the rest of the shoot.

The journey home on the train suffered no delay, which was actually a pity. I had taken my (rather slow) Dell Mini with me so we could look through our images from the day, and we only managed to get through two thirds of them, and we were happy with rather a lot of these.

Shooting with Lily-Mae sometimes feels like shooting with a little sister, and I mean this as the highest of compliments. The whole shoot was relaxed and full of laughs, and our time together flew by far too quickly. I can't recommend Lily-Mae highly enough, and I hope we can work together again soon.

My first shoot with Lily-Mae could not have been any better! This was my first time shooting a model who I did not already know so as someone who is still a relatively inexperienced photographer I was a little nervous at first. However, Lily-Mae has such a bubbly and enthusiastic personality that I was soon very at ease, and it felt like we had worked with each other many times before.

Prior to the shoot we had emailed each other a few thoughts about location and outfits, but on the day Lily-Mae used her local knowledge to suggest a location that I had not scouted but was perfect for our shoot. Lily-Mae turned up with a bag brim full of different outfits, and we got through a good few of them on the shoot.

Lily-Mae is still relatively new to modelling, but this was rarely at all apparent. As both relative newbies we were comfortable sharing ideas for shots and locations, and there was never any feeling of judgement or criticism from her if something I suggested didn't work. We just picked our gear up and moved on to try something else.

Over the three hours we were together I managed to take a significant number of shots, and I have never had so many from one shoot that I am really happy with. Much of this is down to Lily-Mae's 'look' and poses. A more experienced photographer may have been able to spot her relative lack of experience but I certainly didn't.

Lily-Mae is now top of my list for future work, should the opportunity arise. I couldn't recommend her more highly to other photographers looking to work with a stunning and enthusiastic young model who is eager to learn and develop further.

Thank you Lily-Mae, I think you already know how much that shoot means to me now as far as my continued development as a photographer is concerned.

Had a great first shoot with Lily in my studio in Oxford yesterday, hopefully the first of many!

Lily is one of the few models I would happily work with over and over again! She is fantastic!!

A lovely friendly, bubbly girl with a great sense of humour with a stunning slim toned figure with flawless skin and the most amazing blue eyes

Although relatively new to modelling, you would never know. She is confident in front of camera poses with ease, and always knows how to hit great poses time after time

Lily came with a huge selection of different outfits and looked stunning in everything she put on.

It’s very difficult to get a bad shot of this young lady and the reject rate from this shoot was practically zero!

Pre shoot coms were excellent and we had planned the shoot in detail weeks in advance, so we got a lot done in the 2 or so hours we were shooting. Time just flew by and the 2 hours seemed like 20 minutes to me, always a good sign I think

All in all a fun and productive first shoot with a fantastic young model who is obviously going places in the modelling world

Highly recommended ….Book here now! You won’t be disappointed

...The continuing saga. Undeterred by the snow, Lily-Mae returned today for more ADWs happy snapping. Yet again she came with a case of clothing which far exceeded what we'd be able to use, yet again the huge smile, wit and sense of fun.

Having shot together once before I'd say this worked even better than first time round, Lily-Mae frequently anticipating any suggestions I might have.

As before, Lily-May looked great, was a joy to work with, and was determined to get 'that shot'. We spent a while reviewing the images and trimming them down to a sensible number to edit will be a problem. Nice challenge to have though.

Dull, listless, unenthusiastic. Invert all those and you've got a bit of a flavour of Lily-Mae on a shoot!!! (lest my British ironic humour is lost on you, that means she's boggin' awesome!)

Lily-Mae and I have chatted about a shoot for a few weeks, and yesterday was the day. It doesn't snow much in Maidenhead, but it did this week. Undeterred Lily-Mae was determined to go do a bit of fashion location work, which yielded AWESOME results (to my eye at least)

Her photos show Lily-Mae looks great. Lily-Mae is friendly, fun, intelligent, determined and energetic. She's very new to modelling, but the combination of those attributes means she's learning at a heck of a rate. She not only accepts advice, but constantly seeks it out and absorbs it like a sponge. She's very clear about what's good and bad, OK and not OK, and that, to my mind, is a huge strength

We covered a range of styles, Lily-Mae quite surprised me with the comfort with which she untook on some quite challenging stuff. When I suggested we tried some more emotive stuff (which I've seen some more experienced models struggle with), she was totally up for it, tried, improved and - BAM! nailed it.

I'm really pleased with the results. I'm pleased to say that I get the impression Lily-Mae is too. I'm fortunate that Lily-Mae doesn't live a million miles away, so hopefully I'll be able to entice her back to create some more cool stuff.

Thanks for coming Lily-Mae. I don't 'highly recommend' too many new models, but with Lily-Mae's determination, smarts and looks she can go far. So I'll highly recommend her.

Had a great shoot with Lily-Mae. Communications beforehand were spot on, she arrived on time and with a suitcase full of clothes. Don't be put of by the fact she hasn't had many shoots - Lily-Mae is a natural.

Really easy to get on with during the shoot; she listens, takes direction, is focussed and produces great images!

Good luck Lily-Mae (not that you'll need it). Hope we can shoot again soon

It has only been a week since Lily’s first shoot and we had to get together again for more amazingness. Lily had shown an interest in some of the artistic nudes I had shot before and was curious about this style of shooting. I said it’s something you have to be very sure of and comfortable with however as we have a feeling of trust, it wouldn’t be an issue to shoot some and if you felt the genre wasn’t to your tastes then we don’t post them. I was keen to experiment with lighting anyway and Lily was very happy to be patient whilst this happened.

I was my usual happy go lucky self and Lily seemed to feel at ease. Any good photographer knows that having a naked person in the studio is something of a responsibility to make sure they feel at ease but it’s also strange how unstrange it feels (if that makes sense) it just feels like you’ve got a friend in the studio and you kind of forget that they are naked.

Lily’s posing and dedication to her art is something to behold. She is so keen to try and make a success of this however she is also grounded enough to know the trials and tribulations ahead.

I really hope the path ahead is everything she dreams of and wish her the best of luck with it.

I am continually working with her to build her skills and confidence and I have to remind myself that she started this whole journey a week ago. There wasn’t a single moment where she stood still and said ‘I don’t know what pose to do’ she is constantly ‘giving’ and always listening and taking it in.

I fear my portfolio may end up a mass of Lily pics but that’s not a bad thing.

Treat her well people.

(In reference to her ‘shooting styles’ not showing nude or topless, this is because it was a genre she was keen on exploring on the provision we may not post and is not necessarily one that she will undertake on other shoots, we were a little concerned about the confusion. It may cause but am sure you understand, however Lily felt the images were too good not to show off). I was incredibly humbled when her Mum expressed her massive appreciation of the art and beauty. That in itself will stay with me forever.

Lily got in touch with me through social media and we arranged a shoot together. The communication was absolutely flawless and we were both incredibly excited about the shoot. Lily had lots of ideas and lots of outfits. She arrived early, kept in total contact with times etc and was so warm and friendly.

I was conscious that she had never shot before and explained we would keep it fun and friendly. As always, I am very anal with my lighting and image selection which she totally appreciated.

Her posing for someone who is new to modelling was very fluid and needed very little encouragement. Of course her posing repoirture right now is limited understandably, however I was totally taken back by how well she moved and was never standing totally stagnant and struggling to think of something.

She is such a sweetheart and I urge you all to look after her on this journey.

I for one will be shooting with her again ASAP and my portfolio will be flooded with our images.
