References for Malibi

I had my 1st shoot with Malibi today and it went really good.

He got in touch with me last month and we organised this amazing shoot.

He is a kind, polite, creative and professional photographer and re-toucher, has lots of great ideas and made me comfortable since the beggining of the shoot. It was a pleasure shooting with him in Birmingham, at Black Star studio. Can't wait to see the final results and I hope we can shoot together in the future!

Black Star Studio

Malibi came to the black star studio for the first time. I can say he is a friendly humble guy and I would recommend any model to work with him.

Malibi had his vision before coming and was able to execute with the collection of outfits and weapons. The model reported that she has the most fun time. This included a samurai sword, nunchucks and a hand gun.

I hope Malibi becomes a regular face at the Black star studio.

I had my first shoot with Malibi recently and it was wonderful! Such a respectful and polite gentleman who made sure I was comfortable throughout the shoot. He has an abundance of ideas in his mind and time seemed to just run away with us as we didn't have time to execute them all! He was mainly teaching me the ways to become a samurai master, posing in many different ways and outfits using his samurai sword. He knows the poses and styling he wants whilst allowing me to move freely accordingly. The back of camera looked awesome and I can't wait to see the final images after the cool fantasy post processing!

I had my first shoot with Malibi recently and it was so much fun!

He bought some really cool concepts and props along and we worked on a few different ideas (my favourite being a cyborg concept) that I'm sure will really come to life with some fantasy style editing!

He was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout our shoot and very easy to get on with, I would definitely recommend and I can't wait to see some of the shots after editing. :)

I shot with Malibi over the weekend, the goal for the shoot was a cosplay, gamer girl kinda vibe which I absolutely loved as this was something I hadn’t done before.

Straight off the bat, Malibis communication was wonderful.

The pre-communication was clear, friendly and professional. I knew exactly what to expect from the shoot, where we would be going and what time to be ready for.

I also knew of any additional bits, like what I should bring along to the shoot which was really helpful.

On meeting, Malibi was extremely warm and welcoming. He picked me up from my accommodation as I was quite local in Birmingham which was hugely appreciated and very generous!

We drove up to a hotel, where we got to shootin’.

I had been given various wigs & props to pose with and had such a blast channelling different characters on this shoot.

Malibi was amazing with direction, with poses and concepts in mind that he’d created a moodboard for in advance. It was really lovely to work with someone so creative.

The conversation flowed throughout and I felt so comfortable during this shoot.

We had come to mutual agreements about any restrictions prior to the shoot but just for the extra caution Malibi had printed his own model release form, which could be adapted at any time to suit our agreements.

This was lovely, because as a model it gives you such a peace of mind but was also a really thoughtful touch.

I had a really fun time shooting with Malibi, the back of camera shots looked incredible and I can’t wait to see them. Also, great choice in snacks too!

I would 100% recommend Malibi. If you’re looking for some creativity and a fun lil shoot, go for it!

My first shoot with Malibi was great! His ideas are amazing and i thoroughly enjoyed doing a cosplay themed shoot I have never done before! We worked at him home where he had a small studio set up for his shoots. It worked really well and gave me direction to how to pose for the characters! We shot a mixture of Gamer girl, Anime school girl and I even got to pose with a katarna.

Had my first shoot with Malibi, was great. We collaborated well, he told me what he wanted to do in the photos as well as myself which helped us both create some good work. Nice photographer and has a great laugh with you. That was for me really inspired experience and Malibi is a pure artist and giving all soul to this what he is doing.

Definitely recommend Malibi and can not wait for our next shoot!

I had the pleasure of working with malibi on a gamer girl/ animae girl shoot.

We messaged each other lots prior to the shoot so I knew exacly what I need to do and bring which made the shoot really fun and we got some great images.

I would definitely recommend malibi to anyone wanting a photographer or retoucher he's reliable,down to earth,give great direction, has loads of amazing ideas andd is so easy to get along with.

I really enjoyed the shoot and had such a great time plus it was such a laugh I really hope to work with malibi again soon.
