My name is Mandy and I'm a film photographer who works in Leeds and in London. I work with film (both 35mm and 120 format) because I love the look of it and because I'm passionate about the analogue process. I think that a film photo is aesthetically very pleasing and models look naturally beautiful.
One of the reasons why I'm a portrait photographer is that I really enjoy that interaction with people. I think you create a very interesting connection when one person photographs another.
I am interested in editorial and fashion photography and portraits of various styles. I like to work with the model (or the team) to make ideas come to life, producing and delivering the image that we had in mind.
As I work with film, a photoshoot with me is generally slow paced. I try to make every shot count! I work in studios, but I also have fun shooting in different locations. I work mainly in London and Leeds, but I'm happy to travel to other places.
