I worked with Marie for the first time this weekend at two events organised by Aura Photographic: a half day shoot on Portraits using Gobos and then a full day on Fetish Fashion,

Marie was fun to work with – friendly and chatty, happy to work through poses but also to take suggestions and provide feedback. Very professional, hardworking and keen to ensure to we all got the opportunity to get the best images we could.

After the shoot I sent Marie QSD (Quick Small and Dirty) images for her to make a selection of the one she liked, it was the fastest turn around of QSD images I have ever had, which made the shoot more enjoyable, allowing me to work on the best images first.

I had the pleasure and privilege of with shooting with Marie-Jean this week at a MuseModelEvents shoot in Herefordshire. Quite why we've never shot before, I cannot imagine.

Jean was an absolute professional - ready to shoot and with a huge selection of outfits to choose from. Jean's definitely the mistress of her craft, and therefore remarkably easy and rewarding to shoot with. She's also very laid back with a quick wit - a complete joy to work with.

Sadly, our allotted time flew past in what seemed like seconds, leaving a sackful of fantastic images.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Jean and am looking forward to doing so again in the near future. In the meantime, I cannot recommend her highly enough to studio owners, photographers or other models.

Marie-Jean had been on my want to work with list for some time and it was a fortunate turn of events that I managed to do so on recent photography event. I'm sure it will not be the last time we work together.

While writing this I just realised that she already has 474/474 recommended references - wow - can you be any more accomplished - nothing I could say could possibly extol her virtues further, everything has probably already been said by the 'togs before me.

But yes, working with Marie is indeed a pleasure. She is capable, can-do, beautiful, affable and very easy to shoot - and you get a toned physique to boot. An experienced model you just cannot go wrong with.

She is of course most highly recommended... so do yourself a favour and put her in your sights. You will not regret it.

She had her own ideas for looks and styles to create in a wonderful location and she worked the poses effortlessly no direction needed producing some amazing images. I had looked at Marie's profile a number of times and when an opportunity to shoot her at Parklands came around I jumped at the chance.

I'd never been there before and was therefore a little uncertain how it would work out. However, I needn't have worried. We chatted and laughed as she just swept through all of my ideas whilst adding her own to the mix. She's dynamic, athletic, and creative - the sort of model who keeps you pressing the shutter knowing that all will be well.

In short, a delightful person, a gifted model and someone who is fun to be with. I hope she will agree to shoot with me again in the future.

The question comes to mind why have I left it so long to shoot with Marie, I should have done it sooner...

Once I had the tour of her flat which is her home studio, I had some ideas what we could and try also with input from Marie the shoot went smoothly and we got some really interesting shots.

Lets start with massive thanks to MJ for a great shoot during her studio Day at The Kiln Studio(Sat 10th) and for again giving me some potentially great images to edit, I last shot with MJ back in 2018 and today was just as good as then, fantastic!!

On one of MJ’s studio days if booked to shoot with her, you can expect all of the following: enthusiasm, creativity, a great repertoire of poses and as always being very personable from the word go.

From my arrival we started with a brief chat on what my ideas were and what I hoped to achieve and then we were away!

MJ works hard, both with or without direction she gives you her all. She also brings her experience to help you when trying something new, which as a model she has probably done before and with her experience this means she is a great model, even if you are starting out trying to learn your studio work to become a more experienced photographer.

So you get someone who just knows how to give you what you need, this is another reason to work with experienced models of which MJ is truly a top one.

A joy to work with MJ always maintains a professional but friendly persona. I thoroughly recommend MJ to all photographer levels, you will be working with a fantastic model, who works with you, not against you!

We seem to have settled into creative yet slightly bizarre shoots and that works for both of us. It had been over a year since our previous shoot and when she got in touch saying she was having a studio day at Creating The Studio, we started planning.

She handled the vision well, taking it in her stride and working through pose and character with ease. I can't think of anyone else that would have been as successful in this role as Marie.
