Martin was back at Hangleton Lane today, this time with the lovely Charliee for her sell-out studio day.

Two months ago, (see reference lower down), I said I always learn something new from Martin, and today was no exception.

As ever Martin was the consummate gentleman and I have little doubt he'll be back for more. Once again, thank you. Highly recommended ... again.

I finally had the pleasure of working with Martin at The Attic Studio at the weekend, after discussing a shoot on several occasions.

Martin is very easy to work with, he knows exactly what he wants to achieve and gives very clear directions. He has a great eye, and the images I saw on the back of the camera looked amazing.

Really looking forward to seeing the book when he finishes it, and hope we can work together again the next time I’m in his area. Highly recommended. x

I shot with Martin yesterday and i must say it was an amazing experience! He is so easy to work with and makes you feel very comfortable and at ease! he gave me great advice and help where i needed it, he was very professional and the images he captured where amazing! Possible one of my favourite shoots i have done. Highly recommended:)

I'm starting to lose count of the number of times Martin has been here. His unique style of photography was this time employed on the lovely KateC at her studio day, and I am really looking forward to seeing the results on screen having seen just a few examples on the back of his camera.

Superb photographer, great comms, always prompt in his arrival times, and, as ever, very respectful. I learn something new from Martin every time he comes. Highly recommended.

Well, today was finally the day I managed to shoot with Martin after first making contact with him a few months ago, and it was so worth the wait. Martin is an incredibly talented photographer with a creative mind and an artistic eye for detail. He gave great direction when needed, and knew exactly what he was aiming to achieve. The time we had together just raced by, always the sign of a productive shoot.

Not only is Marin brilliant at what he does, his pre comms were excellent, and he was also very easy to talk to and work with. I would love the opportunity to work with Martin again, and hope to do so in the not too distant future!

After our first correspondence 3 years ago, I finally got the opportunity to work with Martin, he kindly made the Journey from Hastings to Map studios in Loughborough to attend my studio day and finally meeting him was wonderful! Martin was polite, friendly and professional throughout, I felt comfortable straight away. It really was lovely to finally meet and work together :)

Martin had a clear idea of what he wanted to achieve with our time and brought along a good selection of references to view beforehand. We were lucky enough with lovely daylight, softly diffused in the derelict room so we began our shoot in there. Towards the end we went back into studio, Martin has a great knowledge of lighting and the set up was great!

Thank you for a lovely afternoon Martin, I hope we get the chance again at a future date :)

Martin surprised me in attending the last hour of my studio day at PoZers Studio in Swindon! I was shocked, and absolutely over the moon that he did a 6 hour round trip to shoot with me. After us being in contact from last September I was unfortunately under the impression I would never get to shoot with this lovely chap as distance was an issue. But as a last minute booking and me not realising he was coming- I was elated that we could finally do our shoot!!

Martin is clearly a very talented photographer who knows exactly what he wants to capture and brought along some beautiful reference images. We both enjoy the more unconventional posing and I am certainly not scared to be more raw, emotional and contort myself into ways that aren’t the stereotypical ‘pretty’ poses. I found me and Martin were really on the same level here ! Couple of images I saw on the back of the camera were so amazing. Although we only had an hour, it was actually just the right amount of time because we were both on the same wave length and I loved Martin’s direction and enthusiasm.

So, so happy you came to shoot with me and it really made my week! 100% recommended, true professional and creative ! Thank you ! Hopefully get the chance to work with again sometime when I visit from Canada !

One of the studio's most regular "studio-dayers" Martin made the trip across the wilds of the Sussex hinterland for today's session with Lottii-Rose. Martin is always innovative and I await the results of his very unusual session with great interest. A photographer well worth observing in action, you can't fail to learn something everyone time you watch him. Always respectful and welcome any time. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed working with Martin for the first time during a recent tour to Brighton in an apartment I had booked for a few days and we got some beautiful images. Communications leading up to our shoot were fantastic so I knew exactly what we were going to be doing and I loved Martins ideas.

Martin arrived on time raring to go, we were only doing a short 1 hour shoot so we jumped right into it and made full use of chairs, windows a ladder and even the beams on the roof.

The hour flew by and Martin took some very natural, relaxed art nude images. I loved working with him and he is so professional and a very experienced photographer but also he is very good at styling and was excellent at giving me direction but also allowing me to pose freely. He was messing my hair around (which I am happy with) to get it into the right style as we were shooting and making sure little details were perfect. He had some superb ideas and made it look so easy working at a good fast pace.

I felt very at ease working with Martin and loved the image results. We had such a productive hour and I can't wait to work with him again sometime in the future. He was a complete gentleman also and very polite whilst good company while shooting.

I highly recommend Martin to all, do not miss an opportunity to work with this exceptional photographer. Thank you so much Martin for a wonderful shoot together.

I had the pleasure of working with Martin at Rosewood Farm for an hour, after shooting with another tog beforehand and I had a great time throughout. He's very professional, showed me the sort of thing he was thinking of going for and we went from there. I felt very relaxed throughout and would highly recommend!

Martin booked me for an art nude shoot during my modelling trip to London. He came well prepared to the apartment I was staying at, pretty much ready to go! He brought some printed images for inspiration and posing ideas, which were very helpful.

Martin made me feel super comfortable and time flew by! Judging by what I saw on the back of the camera, we produced some awesome shots!

Martin booked in to shoot with me for the first hour of my model day at Hangleton Lane last weekend. His pre-shoot comms were great, I knew in advance what the plan was and he sent some reference images to demonstrate the style of shots he was after. During the shoot he was pleasant to work with, gave good direction and only adjusted my hair after having asked and received permission. I had the pleasure of working with Martin for the first time yesterday at The Cottage Studio. Martin came with an idea of what he wanted to capture from our time together. We only had an hour but we more than made it work. Martin shoots fast and loves capturing micro-movements and expressions, photos that capture a moment and I really enjoyed that.
