Shot with Maryna on Monday at J9Studio. What a fun day! Pre-comms were excellent, and we bounced the proposed sets between us several times, with Maryna offering her own suggestions and variations. In the end, we shot a mixture of sets "Girl with a red balloon", Puss-In-Boots" and "The great casino robbery", all whilst listening to a fantastic music selection (Maryna's).

The shoot was so much fun, and got some beautiful shots. Maryna was happy to pose freely, but also willing to take direction, and the contrast between her depiction of an innocent young girl in red, vs the strutting and confident Puss-In-Boots was something magical to witness.

We are already discussing our next shoot.

I booked Maryna for a Workshop / Portfolio Builder. we had amazing pre shoot discussions, she is soooo organised with her available outfits, making selecting a breeze. On the day she was on time even though travel was redirected.

Now I got to say Maryna is a posing genius, knows where the light is coming from, provides a never ending selection flash move flash move flash move - absolutely brilliant.

Most importantly Maryna is a lovely person, getting on with all the attendees, polite, enthusiastic and fun.

I had a very enjoyable shoot with Maryna. Excellent pre-comms, very clear understanding of what I was looking to achieve and then turned up, prepared, and ready to trot.

Maryna then ran through a series of poses, taking guidance on the odd occasion but like all great models able to see the back of the camera and suggest the odd tweak.

Add to this, she is personable and brings her all to a fun shoot.

I had a fantastic shoot with Maryna in Birmingham, and I can't help but express my enthusiasm for working with her. This was my first time working with her, all the pre shoot comms were great and we put together a mood board and got all her outfits and looks sorted quickly.

Maryna approached the shoot with enthusiasm and creativity, she quickly grasps the desired mood and effortlessly adapts to direction.

I found her ability to stay focused very impressive, we did a number of lighting setup changes, but she took each change in her stride and was able to get back into her posing flow easily.

How lucky was I. Two shoots with Maryna in two days. This special “themed” shoot had been arranged for several months. It was something totally new for me and Maryna absolutely “smashed it”. Afterwards we did a shoot with some of her other beautiful outfits and finished off with a very short video shoot. Thanks Maryna look forward to the next time.

I had such a great shoot with Maryna. It's been a while since I had done a proper portraiture shoot since my last one. Maryna was my first one to work with and am I glad she did. She arrived on time for our shoot which took place in Birmingham city centre at night. We manage to take some fabulous shots around the city at night with and made use of the street and city lights around us. The results were absolutely fabulous. Maryna requires little direction in posing resulting in getting really fantastic photos too. She has also been really cooperative on certain shots that I wanted to capture so that really helps getting some great results. Maryna is quite laid back and such an easy person to chat and work with. I,100% recommend her and I would love to work with her again.

Well what can I say, yet another brilliant shoot with Maryna. I was late arriving due to problems with traffic but she was ready to go as soon as I’d prepared my equipment. Plenty of outfits as requested and everything went so well once I was into my stride. Maryna made sure that the images were perfect and I couldn’t have asked more from her. Ever the professional. 100% recommended. If you haven’t shot with her, you don’t know what you’re missing.

In Search of That Perfect Shot..............

Had a fabulous shoot with Maryna recently. She gave 1st class pre-comms, brought the items I had requested from her vast wardrobe , and was punctual. We had four hours to create some magic and Maryna certainly gave her all to getting the images I was after. Posing 2nd to none, lovely lady to work with. Another fantastic shoot with Maryna, and every shoot feels even more interesting, enjoyable and productive than the last. I've been fortunate to work with Maryna several times now, and it's very clear that whatever concepts you can imagine for a shoot Maryna will be able to turn the ideas into fantastic images.

Maryna is very enthusiastic when it comes to new themes and styles, quickly understands what kind of moods or shots you hope for, and adapts very naturally.

During shooting she has many ideas of her own, which when implemented always lead to many more great shots.

It has to be said that Maryna has the patients of a saint, I'm not sure how she stays so focussed on a particular set for so long, even in more difficult conditions, and so many times will be the one asking are we sure we finally got the shots hoped for.

On this shoot we had a location that allowed us to try some different styles than before, and also some quirky, and even surreal concepts.. although I've not had the chance to look at all the images yet, this shoot left me in no doubt that working with Maryna going forward, I can have the confidence and enthusiasm to aim for any mood, concept or style, and have the very best chance of great results. And at the same time improving my photography.

Maryna is also a great example of a respectful and kind hearted person in this industry, highly professional, considerate and a joy to work with :)

What an amazing photoshoot I had with Maryna in Central London. I love working with her and have done in the past. She is so professional- and always on time. We discussed the attire, as I was looking for a chic look around Old Bond Street. Pre comms were superb and I spent most of the morning doing videography, where multiple takes were the order of the day. Maryna was extremely patient!! Always a pleasure to work with such a professional person!

I genuinely struggle to find words to describe how working with Maryna feels. I don't know any other model that I've worked with as much as I've worked with Maryna - at least not a model who is still working anyway!

Always perfectly prepared, is just in my head when it comes to the shoot idea(s) and genuinely can trust Maryna to play in that brainspace and get out what is in my mind.

Not many can do that - let alone as natural as Maryna can. Intuitive would be a fairly accurate description of the experience. And such a wonderful conversationalist as well.

Perfection! I met Maryna at a group shoot and she is a fantastic model, needed no direction as she knew exactly how to give a photographer the best poses with a very strong personality that came through with the images. Really hope to work with Maryna again, highly recommend!
