Missy is a great woman, hair makeup fantastic. Outfits fitted so well with the locations also.

Loved talking to her and taking her photo even more. She showed great interest and worked hard to help get some wonderful images.

This was the second time i had met Missy only this time I had the pleasure of shooting instead of setting up in a studio.We were on location in London on a group shoot arranged by MK Photography.

House of Fortitude

I did a shoot with MissyKiou close to a decade ago when we were young and sprightly and I knew little about photography. It was very lovely to reconnect after all this time and do a second shoot.

She is a wonderful model. Tall and statuesque. Open to all ideas. Patient with a photographer who likes to fiddle around with old cameras and sometimes shoots very slowly. Happy to put up with some discomfort. A good communicator who is not afraid to state what she needs. Kind and generous and generally just a real pleasure to spend time with. During the shoot, we already discussed ideas for a future. So, clearly highly recommended.

What a pleasant surprise to discover we were both French, so straight away we were both at ease. I had time to prepare the rented studio and test the lighting conditions beforehand, which meant we could be relaxed and concentrate on the project ideas we were both keen to work on. MissiKiou had prepared a lot of outfit options and we did not get enough time to try them all. I love her "visage" and profile, she was keen to try all ideas we both had. Melle answered a specific casting and willingly collaborated in what I was trying to achieve.

She is a delightful person, very easy to talk to and get on with; and made me smile a lot.

What I should have done was let her produce the poses from the beginning. When I asked her to just move whilst I shot I realised just how good she really was. She has a natural beauty and a wonderful grace in her poses.

She also had very good ideas which always interests me because I have to wok to try to interpret them.

Having looked at the images and knowing better what else I want to shoot with her, I am hoping she will return and perhaps I shall be better organised.

2nd shoot with Melle & it will not be the last, another shoot in the calendar already ! Melle looks / 'body' & help in gaining captures, was well received in this group shoot I organised for photographers.

I attended a fabulous group photoshoot organized by Keith Turnbull. Missy was one of three excellent models arranged for the day. The theme was fashion and dance and we shot at the amazing Canary Wharf in London. The area is rich with photo opportunities and we shot for 4 hours. Missy was great and braved some very cold conditions to let us shoot her. She had a range of colourful clothes which complemented the venue perfectly. Missy is pleasant, friendly and worked very well with the other girls and us Togs. I would recommend her highly!

Melle was an engaging, enthusiastic model who had come with a nice array of different coloured outfits and got into the spirit of the shoot, braving the bright, cold winter weather, to provide some great model poses against some iconic local architecture/settings.

Lets start with a huge thank you to MelleKiou for a great shoot (Sat 3rd Sept).

MelleKiou was booked for a 4 hour 121 and despite never meeting her before, we had great communication prior to the shoot, right up to the day. Despite a problem with trains from London which meant an hours delay to the shoot timetable, from my arrival to pick Mellekiou up from the station, we seemed to get on from the word go.

A chat on the drive to the studio before we started just explaining how I personally shoot and what I hoped to shoot and then again over a cuppa to get over shooting ideas and for me to have a rest, but MelleKiou does work hard, both with and without direction and gives you her all, whatever style I was shooting she was on point, showing her adaptability. Just a joy to work with, always maintaining a professional but friendly persona.

I thoroughly recommend MelleKiou to all photographer levels, you will be working with an fantastic model, who works with you, not against you!

Just loved working with MissyKiou! She is just a wonderful, creative, and expressive model, and a wonderful human to spend time with as well! a four hour fashion focused shoot at the Factory in Tower Hamlets whizzed by in a lovely combination of professional creativity, producing great shots, and a pleasant, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Simply excellent model! We shot a classic 1980s horror character Katrina from Vamp, which required quite a heavy makeup process. MissyKiou took the whole process in stride and we got some amazing shots! It's always very important for me to work with models that are nice, friendly, easy to talk to and who are engaged in the process and she absolutely fits the bill perfectly. Genuinely lovely lady, and such a pleasure to work with. Thank you :) x

This was our second shoot and will not be the last. MissKiou is a fantastic contributor to a shoot. She not only gets on well but develops an understanding of what I tried to accomplish and contributed with ideas. This was duo shoot with a less experienced model.
