I had such a super time working with Mel on my studio day at Windmill Arts.

Mel is so much fun to work with and his enthusiasm and passion for photography is inspiring (and definitely shows in his fabulous work). Despite it being a long day for me, his energy and charisma kept me going! The two hours we had together just flew by way too quickly. I would work with Mel again in an instant!

I met Mel at a Portfolio Builder day organised by Andrew Appleton and Andrew Griffiths at Saracen House Studio for which I was one of the models! I only got an hour to work with Mel in a small group of photographers but I found Mel to be very friendly and great to get along with! He had some brilliant ideas and was also really proactive in both directing me as well as allowing me creative freedom to pose. He had great knowledge of the location too which gave us the ability to manage a fair few different locations in a short amount of time! :)

Several years had passed since our last shoot - but I finally got the chance to work with Mel again this week - against all the odds, with a last minute change of plan / location. Mel remained unflappable though, and managed to get us into a wonderful studio (LovePhotoStudio). The shoot was just brilliant. Mel and I shared ideas, and managed to achieve a great deal in a half day shoot. Mel is a lovely photographer to work with - he is wholly professional in his approach, is willing to work collaboratively with models to get great results, and he takes really wonderful shots. Mel is also a genuinely lovely chap, and a real pleasure to work with.

I only hope that we don't wait another 4 years for our next shoot - it was far too much fun! If you have the chance to shoot with Mel - grab it - you will enjoy every moment :)

I had the great pleasure of meeting and working with Mel on a little studio day held at Artemis Fauna's lovely home. We only had an hour but I enjoyed it immensely. When Mel booked me for my East Anglia Tour, I was very pleased because I knew that it would be great. Mel and I have worked together twice now, and he's probably one of my favourite photographers to work with. Mel has a wicked sense of humour, and makes you feel relaxed and involved straight away, with his cheery and friendly attitude.

Mel is also very creative, trying lots of ideas, and seeing images that others would have missed, and working hard with me to create some stunning images. He gets better every time I work with him, and is a very technically skilled photographer, as is evident from his port.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely gent, and look forward to working with him again in the future.

I was working with Mel few years ago on one of the workshops and now it was so wonderful to shoot together on the group shoot at Dean Ireland Photography studios in Ely again !

Mel is a great photographer, with professional attitude, willing to experiment, with clear ideas, good communications, always respecful to the model, is so easy and pleasant to work with ! He has a lovely personality to match as well, which makes hooting time so enjoyable ! Highly recommended to all models to work with and hope to shoot together some time soon again !

I did a shoot with mel and it was an edgy shoot which was great fun very daring he made me feel. Eryat easy gave great direction ideas would deffently recommend a shoot with mel if your looking to try new ideas thank you again mel x

I worked with mel on Sunday at a group shoot at windmill art and he was such a nice and lovely man! He gave me lots of helpful tips and made me feel at ease throughout the shoot. mel showed me photos and explained why he did certain things so I knew what was happening as I am new to all of this. I definitely would recommend and would love to shoot together again In the future. Thank you mel :)

very patient and takes his work quite seriously , he made me feel at ease instantly.

I worked with Mel at the Windmill Art group shoot, we had the first slot so not the easiest! He was fun to work with, friendly and respectful. He had a good idea of what he wanted to achieve and gave good direction. He sent me great images very promptly, one of which has now become my most "liked" on my facebook page. :) He also managed to take one of the only photos in existence of my bottom, which I like! :oP I would definitely recommend him and would be happy to work with him in future :)

I worked with Mel at the Windmill Group shoot yesterday, and what a lovely guy he is.

We had loads of fun shifting furniture around in the disused swimming pool, creating some fun shots and having a good old giggle.

Mel is fun to work with, easy going and you immediately feel at ease with him. He is also creative and imaginative.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and hope we can get together again soon.

Definitely recommended. :)

I have worked with mel 3 times now and every time has been great. He is very professional and easy to work with. We always has ideas and is happy to listen to the models too. I always get good pictures from him in quick time. Highly recommend this guy :)

I worked with Mel as part of the Windmill Group Shoot and found him to be both a skilled photographer, but also friendly and courteous. His pre-shoot comms were excellent and we both knew what we wanted from the shoot. He quickly sent me images from the shoot and I am very pleased :) Would happily work with him again (particularly as he loves black & white like I do)!

I was working with Mel some time ago on a 3 days location shoot in Wales and all I remember he was a delight to work with !

Very professional, well organized, great communication, clear ideas, respectful to models at all the times, easy and pleasant to work with !

I worked with Mel at model Emma Willis's beautiful house in Lakenheath. Mel is one of the most genuine and nicest photographers you could wish to meet and work with! He is down to earth, professional and fun to work with all rolled into one:) I felt completely comfortable and could have yapped away to Mel all day! The photographs were also beautiful! Highly recommended for any model to work with and I really hope we get to work together again! :) Helen x

Mel is a very sweet guy - I've modelled for him on at least a couple of occasions, both in a studio and on location. I found him easy to work with, respectful and considerate, and very much willing to go out of his way to get the desired shot.
