The photos were always very artistic and there were some really striking ones taken in the natural light

I had the absolute pleasure to work with Mike yesterday.

Pre-comms were excellent and I was already fascinated about this photographer when I had a closer look at his portfolio.

But our studio day exceeded my expectations! Mike is an incredible photographer and wonderful person. We covered a wide range from simple portraits to beautiful, artistic nude.

What I especially liked about our shoot was Mike's approach to achieve stunning results. He made up his mind about the set and composition at home, experimented and built it up in the studio for our shots. He showed me some images on the back of the camera and on the iPad and I so much like what I saw there.

We couldn't even cover all the ideas we came up with; I cannot wait to work with Mike again to create more art.

A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED photographer who will push every model's portfolio!

I had a great first shoot with Mike at his home. Pre-comms were fab and he was friendly and accommodating throughout the shoot. Although the day was cloudier than we were hoping, we managed to capture some lovely natural light shots when the sun did come out as well a nice range of portraits using studio lights. I liked that Mike was happy to try new things and find what worked. I was particularly impressed because this was his first shoot after a few months break and first shoot at home, and I think we got some really nice images! Would definitely shoot with Mike again :)

Mike was concise with pre-communication, met me at the train station with a welcoming smile, which set the mood for the shoot.

It was very thoughtful of him to offer me some drinks or food as we had a 4 hours outdoor session ahead. However, it turned out to be very laid back and felt more like a long walk in the park. Mike has a very lovely personality, we had a few good laughs and great talks.

I highly recommend him and cannot wait to see the results!

When he showed me the first few images on the back of the camera I was blown away. We have since shared images from our shoot and got a lot of love! Absolute pleasure to model for my first shoot with Mike.

Organised via Simon Carter, so cannot provide pre-shoot details, but on the day, Mike was really friendly but also totally professional and respectful. Letting me pose, but also providing suggestions, we worked through several different looks and sets and themes, so covered a huge variety on the day. I love seeing BOC images and am pleased to already see edits!

An absolute gentleman, he went above and beyond to make my experience shooting with him a great one. I definitely plan on working with Mike again. So far from the shoot he’s posted two of my favourite images (ever!) and I’m looking forward to seeing the rest.

He had a clear idea of what he wanted from the shoot but was more than happy to receive additional input from myself. His communication was clear and covered all bases in our messages prior to shooting. Mike was also happy to answer questions I had regarding PurplePort, photography and modelling. He gave me some really great advice! There was a mixture of free posing and direction with frequent breaks and back-of-the-camera checks.

Had my third shoot with Mike at the Loft studio in Colchester and it was super fun!

We shot different concepts with both natural light and artificial, I love how every time we have fun and take great pictures without too many programs.

Shot with Mike again the other week, an amazing photographer and an even better guy. Would recommend him to anyone, we had a great shoot at Burford Manor, he made me feel very comfortable throughout and we had a good laugh too. He even brought me some food! Although we didnt get to try out every idea we had (we were pretty ambitious with this one- the manor was huge- we couldve easily spent a couple of days there but we only had the one), we still had a very productive day and got loads of great shots. I cant wait to shoot with him again.

I finally shoot with Mike today . Is an amazing shoot . We tried many creative colour of hats and sockings ! The studio is so spacious and we tried window and the grey fashion background. Mike is very good at photography and see things in details ! Very friendly and we got so many lovely images ! I look forward can see them in New year ! Highly recommended! Hope can work again!

Summers Abroad

We hosted Mike in Namibia for 4 days. This was the first time Mike had joined us on an event but certainly hope it won’t be the last.

Mike was great company in the social down time, had a great sense of humour and got on with the models and other photographers really well :)

From what I’ve seen so far he got some absolutely gorgeous images too!!

We wish he’d been able to join us on the second half of the trip as 4 days was just much too short!

Working with Mike was fab! Laughter, quality photos and ideas flowed throughout the shoot and 4 hours flew by. We began with no plan/moodboard so it was a fun shoot constantly bouncing ideas off each other, I hope to shoot with him again in the new year!

Absolutely love working with Mike, just a dream to work with. We had arranged a beach shoot this time, the weather certainly let us down, but Mike was really good about the situation and made sure I wasn't in a situation where I was too cold in the rain and the wind. Prior to the shoot, Mike helped pick out outfits, and was more than willing to listen to my ideas for what could work. Whilst we didn't get the exact outcome we wanted, the back of camera shots looked stunning nonetheless, and I can't wait to see the final edits.

Highly recommend to any model and would love to work with him again :)

Shot with Mike in Regents park and on the streets of London. It was a very hot, sweaty day and we made the absolute most of it.

Mike was very accommodating, gave amazing direction, and always asked if I was comfortable with anything before we went ahead with it; extremely professional, created a very energetic and friendly vibe.

Couldn't have asked for a better shoot, he was helpful, an amazing photographer, and put me at ease immediately. Mike also has an amazing sense of humour which releived any tension that could have existed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, we got some amazing images and got on really well. I would absolutely recommend Mike as your next photographer.

This morning I shot for the first time with Mike, and I had a lot of fun!

We worked at my house for 4 hours and I must say they flew by!

Mike is a very nice person, even too much! Maybe we laughed more time than we shot haha

But we definitely created a lot of beautiful images, with a very relaxed and creative enviroment, experimenting new things!

Can't wait to work again together :)
