References for Miss_C

Today I had been due to be working at the wonderful Basford Hurst Cottage with another model who sadly had to cancel due to illness.

So I asked Miss C to step in and I'm so please she accepted.

When a model is high on your list of people to work with it is even more exciting when it's a bit last minute and spontaneous.

I was greeted with enthusiasm and coffee by Miss C which is always a winner in my book.

After a quick chat about our ideas we cracked on shooting.

Miss C was looking fabulous and we worked through several sets, having a laugh along the way.

Today was a day where everything seemed to work. I think we bounced ideas off each other and time flew by.

I'm excited to see what magic we made and the back of camera looked really promising.

I can't wait to share some of these images.

Basford Hurst has so many super places so I will be back for sure.

I can't recommend the place highly enough and the same goes for Miss C who is fabulous to work with.

Can't wait for the next time and also hope to work with her on location.

I absolutely recommend Miss C and the location.

Well well well. We planned a shoot on location, but the terrible weather of august managed to force several delays. Shooting in the cold wet rain is not fun for most people, and I certainly didn't want Leanne's first experience with me to end up in hospital with hypothermia !

Finally some drier and warmer weather came along in september. We turned up in the Peak District but so did hundreds of thousands of midges. I have never been so bitten in all my life, and i have spent time in the deep jungle.

Providing lunch for the local insect population was not part of the plan, so a retreat was called. There's a bit of advice for anyone shooting at this time of year - bathe in barrels of insect repellent beforehand.

We made use of the dawn light by the side of the road, and then moved to the woods at Basfordhurst cottage (Cottage?).

Leanne was not phased by my request to get into the stream and smother herself with mud. I have great respect for her ethic and was very impressed with her enthusiasm. She is a great model and she gets fully involved in the creative process. Leanne, I thank you for your wonderful work. I highly recommend Leanne and her studio to everyone !!

Had a fantastic first shoot with Miss_C recently in an awesome apartment I had rented in Leeds.

Pre-shoot comms were excellent and she had with her a nice selection of clothing and lingerie that complimented my own styling. After a drink and a chat we got to work shooting.

We got through several sets during the shoot and worked together to get images we are both really happy with. Miss_C is totally professional, down to earth,and a joy to work with . She has a great look, confident, poses naturally without direction,but also responded to direction perfectly.

On my way home from Leeds I popped into Basford Hurst Cottage to take a look around,an awesome space that I am looking forward to working in at some point.

I met Leanne originally on a visit to Basford Hurst earlier this year and again last weekend at the group charity shoot for Crohns disease organised by Lotti Rose at Basford Hurst.

Instantly after meeting Leanne, I got a really kind warm vibe from her and she was so nice to be around!

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to do any duo shots with Leanne however everyone who did work with her spoke very highly of her professionalism and from the few shots I have seen along with sneaks of her posing on the day- she is inspirational and a true professional!

Hopefully we get to work together in the future!

I met Leanne when on a charity shoot organised at Basford Cottage. Genuinely welcoming she puts you at ease immediately. She is well organised and knows her studio well.

Then she offered to model one of the slots with me. Wow. And Wow again. Great understanding of how to pose. Of light. Of what works for her. Great communicator - full of ideas. Lovely person.

And did I mention a face for a beauty image? Highly recommended.

Leanne not only hosted me yesterday at the studio but also stepped in and modelled. She worked her ass off all day, not only running round hosting, showing people round for me, making teas and then jumping in modelling too! What a woman!

Shes really the nest type of person, so down to earth and happy to put her hand to any ideas!

I couldnt have been happier with how the day went and most of it is down to her, so thankyou Leanne!

Cant recommend her more!

3rd September 2023: Shot with Miss_C as part of a Crohn's Disease charity shoot organised by LottieRose and hosted by Basford Hurst Cottage Photographic location near Leek. Great shoot, Miss_C posed excellently with very little direction from myself and we got some great images, IMO. Shot solo in the woodland area with Miss_C in a cowgirl outfit, then finished with a group shoot with the other models at the water feature. Managed to nab Miss_C right at the end of the group

shoot to get some solo shots on the lawn with Miss_C in a light and floaty dress, one of several great shoots during a great day ! Would work with Miss_C again without hesitation, highly recommended. I ahve several ideas in mind for our next shoot ! Say no more !

Incredibly gentle, graceful, and sensitive are my first impressions and those which guided our image making. Her height and athleticism added to our range of possibilities.

Worked With Miss C today and she is a true professional and very patient to boot. Achieved 4 sets of pictures today in various locations in the downstairs area of her studio. She changed quickly and was very able and comfortable in posing herself enabling myself to create what I was after. She is a wonderful host, friendly and very approachable. I feel not one minute of my time was wasted and all round it was a great experience

I had my first shoot today with Miss _C Leanne at her studio Basford Hurst Cottage. I have been wanting to shoot with Leanne since we first met in April and it was definitely worth the wait. The shoot was booked for four hours and it was surprising how quickly it passed.

Leanne is great to work with she is friendly easy to talk to and a fantastic model.She poses with ease and nothing is too much trouble to achieve the perfect shot.

I will definitely work with Leanne again in the future.

Wow wow wow is all I can say, miss c is stunning with a figure to die for.

Miss c can bring intense emotions to the surface delivering powerful images.

Needs no direction at all infact I give her a feeling I was after and BAM images just floowed from her.

We shot at her place Basford hurst cottage and the place is outstanding, the beautiful natural light that enters in little pockets are the place I found inspiration from.

Highly recommend Miss c and her place to anyone....Y ou will not be disappointed..

I was lucky enough to work with Leanne recently at Basford Hurst Cottage....

Pre-coms with Leanne were excellent. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Leanne and partner Simon, and Leanne gave us the tour of the place, so we could get some form of plan...

Leanne needs little to no direction, but when given she delivers exactly what you are looking for, she is chameleonic like in her ability to not only pose flawlessly in whatever genre you are shooting, but also deliver the pure emotion you are looking for into the shot, and it is a rare quality indeed.

Along with the above, Leanne is very down to earth, funny and a pure joy to work with, and I certainly hope I have the chance to do so again.

I had my first shoot today with Leanne at her stunningly beautiful studio, Basford Hurst Cottage Studio. What a venue! Full of wonderful rooms and original features plus private woods/gardens. I'm sure I could spend a week shooting there and find something new each day.

After great communications I arrived and was greeted by Leanne who immediately made me feel welcome. She gave me a tour of the studio before we started shooting. Throughout the morning Leanne worked effortlessly to produce beautiful shapes, putting into practise my ideas and coming up with many of her own to create amazing images. She is a true professional and really knows her craft. She was so friendly and helpful, hard working and full of ideas. It was a joy to work with her. I'd love to work with her again, at Basford Hurst, in the snow!

Highly recommended without any hesitation.

Where do i even begin with this absolute goddess!!!

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting with Miss C with the lovely Trev and im completely over the moon with the results! Wed spoken a few times prior to our shoot thinking of arranging a duo and luckily Trev was there to press the go button.

Its a rarity to find anyone as tall as myself and well... that's where the dream duo begins. with a similar build and similar heights, we worked really well together... not to mention the flow she has too. We bounced off each other really well, both creating some amazing ideas for stunning shots. Model to model, she's incredibly respectful and clear with where the poses are going too which always goes a long way but also fun to be around. Miss C is an incredible model and definitely knows how bring out the best in herself but myself too.

I honestly can't get over how fabulous the shots look and can't recommend her enough to anyone both model and photographer. If you are thinking of booking her... DO IT!

Thank you so much for such a wicked day, i can't wait to see what the future brings.

Oh go one then. I suppose I should tell everyone how good she is blah blah blah..

To be fair, she is.. and lovely too. 2nd shoot with the 6.2 long Learch (sorry Fred) and didn't disappoint once again.

Willing to go the extra mile, will happily flash passers by if they stumble across her mid pose and a great personality and humour to boot.

I'll echo the other positive comments and references and say again, book her, you won't be disappointed (unless you want a 5ft brunette!)

Long awaited second shoot with Fred, just as good as the first! Leanne came to stay at Trevvie Towers so we could use that as a base, she is really easy going fun to work with, great sense of humour, and a good model.

I would certainly recommend her to all levels of photographers, she puts in 100% effort every set, and is game for climbing, balancing, falling off a whole number of props!

A brilliant all rounder that isn't too bothered about Joe Public and being relatively clotheless when they are around.

All in all another great shoot with a duo immenently planned

My first shoot with Miss C at Basford Hurst Cottage, with great pre comms that always make a good start.

This was also my first shoot with someone 6ft 2! And for someone so tall, Leanne's body is proportioned perfectly, helped I am sure by her active life and background.

Leanne is an absolute pleasure to work with, producing so many beautiful poses that kept me captivated throughout the shoot. And equally, Leanne is also great at interpreting ideas and following direction.

With such a lovely personality, the 4 hours flew by, leaving with so many beautiful images.

I would highly recommend Leanne as someone to shoot, both at the cottage or at another location or studio.

I have already booked my second shoot and will be counting down the days.

When beginning a reference for Miss_C, Leanne, you are very conscious of the many impeccable references given by other photographers all attesting to her superb modelling skills, natural beauty and wonderful friendly character. I absolutely confirm all the accolades bestowed by others.

This was my first shoot with Leanne which was speedily arranged after I had seen her amazing porfolio in PP. Arriving at her beautiful studio she is so welcoming that you feel at home immediately. I have never worked with a model more engaged with the emotion of the images and enthusiastic to acheive beautiful artwork.We covered so many themes but left so many more to plan for.

I do not hold it against her that she has revealed to the PP world my secret camera technique of the Posterior Trigger Method (PTM for short) but now feel entitled to post some of the BTS images of her washing off the sawdust residue under the garden hose after our 'grunge set' in the outhouse. (watch this space :) :) )

I arrived on Monday a stranger but left on Tuesday a good friend. I am sure we will work together a lot in the future and of couse Miss_C comes HIGHLY HIGHLY recommended from me.
