Jay shot me for the last 2 hours at my day at J9 today.

We shot a selection of nudes and shapes using the white box set up.

I really like the images on the back of the camera and Jay was nice to be around so Id be more than happy to work with him again :)

As a new model Jay had made some mood boards and has some posing booklets to show me which was incredibly helpful.

I have finally has a chance to meet and work with Jay last Saturday. We had ongoing conversation about shoot for a while at J9 studio and it finally happened!

Jay is very friendly, polite and professional person, he was very good at giving me some posing tips and directions but also allowed me to be creative and carry on with the flow. Two hours just flown by, had a really good time and chance to get to know Jay a bit better.

100% would recommend and hopefully we will have a chance to work again together in the future!

I shot with Jay at his studio space in Gloucestershire.

He was friendly, respectful, professional, outgoing, intelligent, and passionate about photography.

We mainly were focussing on an in-the-box art nude set which I put a lot of energy into and I believe we will have lots of great images to choose from!

I also enjoyed conversing with him during the shoot.

He kindly also dropped me off at the station after the shoot.

I would love to work with him again.

Super friendly, professional and caring.

We had a last minute session, which I enjoyed immensely.

Communications were on point, he sent me a moodboard so that we would both be on the same page.

We shot in his studio's Big White Box, that I was wanting to try for ages! Time flew by... He even had printed some inspiration poses for me!

Jay actively creates a safe work environment and makes sure you feel comfortable, offering coffee/tea and great conversations.

What a wonderful fun amazing shoot we had today!

From the off Jays form of communication is excellent. In depth detail of what he wanted from the shoots, outfit ideas, posing ideas, and a very detailed map of where his studio was!

Such a lovely welcoming man, who made me feel very comfortable.

The white box was a big highlight of the day, something I haven’t done before- again, Jay had many ideas!

Can’t wait to see the final photos- would 100% recommend Jay.

Will definitely be travelling again, for plenty more shoots hopefully!

I had my first shoot with Jay yesterday and today and I loved every hour we spend working together. Jay was extremely polite, friendly and even brought up delicious chocolate bars, sushi, Oreos and many more treats for a lunch break :). He was very careful and very respectful towards me and my personal space, making me feel very comfortable our shoots. Furthermore, he has an amazing sense of humor and is very easy to talk to. Furthermore, he is very passionate about his work, you can tell because he puts all of his effort to obtain the most creative and high quality images, along making sure you are comfortable while doing so. Along this he was very open to ideas and to basically shoot anything you have in mind. Great at adjusting poses and having ideas, even with me not hearing half of the things, we were able to create some amazing images and have a great time along doing so! He also provided massive care by making sure I was cozy along with the amazing treats and fun conversations, I cannot wait to work with him again!

Ever since I joined purpleport I’ve wanted to work with Jay and I finally got the chance yesterday afternoon

Pre communications can’t be faulted, informative and helpful and I understood the vision!

From the minute I walked in his lovely studio Jay made me feel comfortable, he had even gone out of his way to find snacks and drinks that I could have as I’m gluten intolerant! This was above and beyond what Jay needed to do and was very much appreciated

It was so so lovely working with Jay, very professional and the images on the back of the camera looked stunning

I had a great shoot with Jay whilst doing a full model day at J9 studios. It was good to catch up as we haven't worked together in some time. Jay already had ideas in mind as he is doing a series of white box photos which is a fun thing to pose in a play around with creating shapes.

Jay is super easy to work with and very relaxed.

He provides tea, snacks and there's even a sweets jar in the studio but we had lots of oreos! Yum!

Highly recommended. Jay and John have a good little group of photographers using the studio so I've really enjoyed being back shooting there for a day! Until next time!

Had a fab first shoot with Jay- finally- we’ve been chatting for ages about shooting together and I’m so glad it became a reality (despite car troubles trying to stop us).

Jay is such a lovely guy- we couldn’t stop chatting and the time just flew by. Pre-comms were excellent- with Pinterest links and helpful outfit suggestions. His studio was fab and had some really unique sets we used, the BOC I saw were ace, can’t wait to see the final results! Thanks Jay

Had another great shoot with Jay - this time UNDERWATER!

The shoot was held at TankSpace in Nottingham - something I've been wanting to do for absolutely AGES! I couldn't think of a better photographer to do it with. Jay and I have worked together a few times now (just take a look at my previous references where I gush about how great he is) and I will never say no to shooting with him.

Brilliant shoot from start to finish. Well organised and super comfortable.

Jay organised a beautiful shoot at TANKSPACE and lucky for me 1 of the 3 booked models had to cancel so this gave me a great opportunity to work with him in a underwater environment, which was new to me!

He is so easy to work with and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer.

I had such a fab time shooting with Jay at J9 Studios, as always! We'd been planning this shoot for almost a year so it was nice to finally get the chance to go ahead with it.

Managed to do a few sets; one in the box and a couple in some vintage swimwear (which I absolutely adore). Even managed to incorporate my inflatable flamingo into the mix!

Working with Jay is always such a pleasure. He is the kindest, most patient photographer I know and he's really helped me with my modelling since I started. He completely lets you do your own thing but will give direction when needed. He also allows you to look at the frames as you go along to make sure you're happy with them.

I honestly adore working with Jay and will always jump at the chance to work with him again.

10/10 photographer. He has my highest recommendations!

Just like our previous shoot Jay was an absolute joy to work with and his personality always makes you feel comfortable and at ease

Before the shoot I shared some boards on themes I wanted to create with both mine and Jay's ideas and he was more than happy to re-create them with me

I absolutely love all of Jay's ideas so it was an absolute joy to be able to bring both of our ideas together to create some fabulous images :)

Had a fantastic shoot with Jay today. We discussed ideas and jay had sent over mood boards prior, which was really helpful in prep for today.

Lots of fun in the famous white box, but mainly exploring a new idea of LED lights together and creating some great shots from what I saw on the camera.

Can not wait to see all the photos.

Jay is really easy to get on with and instantly felt at ease. Respectful, courteous and up for fun and wacky shots it was really enjoyable as time flew. Looking forward to working together again.... and again.

All conversations before hand were brilliant, he sent links to mood boards where we both pinned our ideas to get an overall picture of the types of themes which really helped on the actual day as we could go back and refresh when needed.

He was so lovely to work with both on and off set! Very professional and full of brilliant ideas! Very easy to talk and work with.

Had my first studio set shoot with Jay as a very novice model and he was fantastic. All pre-shoot comms were great, Jay was helpful and a great resource for me as a new model starting out.

My friend Alex accompanied me to the shoot which Jay was totally fine about, for someone so new to the whole scene this made me feel instantly at ease. Jay was super friendly and professional, a pleasure to work with.

He gave me really useful tips and direction and I had great fun in the big white box! Theres some great images from this shoot and I can't wait to get another shoot booked in with Jay in th new year!
