As there have been lots of changes since the unfortunate passing of Richard, one quite obviously being the change of hands, I decided to check out the Old Bakery again. The bakery didn't have the greatest reputation previously for reasons which i won't go into, but i feel it relevant to mention for anyone who has heard the negatives, because such previous issues seem to be 100% resolved and i'm happy to use the Bakery regularly again and I am confident that i can recommend this studio to my peers.

I used the Old Bakery for my shibari group shoot, which I had done here previously a number of years ago. I liased solely with Paul, who helps with the running of the studio. I can therefore (currently) only comment on my dealings with him (I'm aware there are a few different members of the Old Bakery team). I can 100% recommend Paul for all enquiries, assistance, photography and bookings. Organising the event with Paul was quick and easy with every single fine detail covered. as a result, we sold out instantly and the event was a success. I am planning another shibari event at the Old Bakery and I'm confident this will also be very popular.

The bakery as a building is also much warmer now! It used to be freezing! Anyone who shoots nude or lingerie, you will be made to feel comfortable and not freezing your bits off, i promise! A beautiful peacock chair, a selection of backdrops, props and lovely lighting too. The best thing though is that you can get cars and bikes into the studio for any car or bike shoots! Something that is hard to find!

If you havent recently visited the Old Bakery, i would suggest you give it a shot :)

The facilities are great, all the kit works and is in good condition. The coffee was good and strong too!

Have been at this lovely studio many times in the past, and had the chance to use it again 2 times since it reopened after lockdown. Everyone is lovely and helpful, I always feel welcomed. They have many props, customs, backdrops and lights to use freely.

Would love to go back in the future.

Went along to the recent group LowKey Bodyscape shoot. Big thanks to Richard and the other photographers who attended for an enjoyable time.

Despite being a local studio to me, last week was the first time I have actually shot at Old Bakery. This was for a number of reasons, but I eventually got to check it out. The studio itself is a large space with loads of potential and some cool different back drops, however when I shot there, typically the boiler had broken (just my luck!) So I was surrounded by lots of little heaters which I automatically gravitated towards!

My first shoot with PTB33 (Paul), went really well and we shot some lovely low key nudes on the black background.

However, my second shoot didn't quite go to plan and I was surprised to see that none of the owners were in attendance at the studio or contactable by an obvious phone number. This wouldn't have been a problem if several technical issues hadn't disturbed the shoot, however these were eventually resolved by Paul.

I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently he came to a solution, handling it in a much better way that it had prior been dealt with.

Overall, The studio is a lovely space to shoot, I would shoot there again as I know any problems that arose, won't happen again:)

After about a year of wanting to work at the Old Bakery I finally got around to shooting there!

The studio isn't to far from the station which is perfect.

They have much to offer, including clothing, shoes and much more.

I would definitely recommend Old Bakery and can't wait to shoot there again.

Organized my first ever latex event at the studio this week.

Having been here before numerous times I knew exactly what to expect...lovely and professional staff, help with lights, nice atmosphere.

I really enjoyed the event and it went smoothly.

I hired the studio for the first time yesterday. When I arrived the studio was warm, ensuring my model could work in comfort. The lighting selection was very good and lights were set up as I wanted quickly. Help was on hand when required and refreshments were available. I will certainly look to hire the studio again.

I was lucky enough to be invited to the studio to model for a UV group shoot last night.

Being my first group shoot, I was a tad nervous, but upon arrival I was immediately made to feel welcome by Richard and Graham and introduced to the MUA they had arranged to paint my body.

The shoot itself was attended by 3 photographers, all of whom were patient, easy to chat to, and totally respectful of my personal space.

After the shoot I was guided to a shower where I was able to wash off before leaving.

I am delighted with how the shoot went and wouldn't hesitate in recommending the studio to other models who may be invited to shoot there, or indeed, other creatives who may be considering using the space.

Thanks to the directors for having me!! I hope to be back soon!

This was my first visit to the Old Bakery during my most recent tour where I worked with Suzanne Singleton.

The studio has an impressive space to shoot in, you really don't feel restricted!! It is clean, well equipped and help at hand if needed.

I hope I get the opportunity to work here again in the future.

Me and my drag partner had a photo shoot with the old bakery photographic studio. When we arrived they were very quick and welcoming to us, they then let us have our space and gave us as much time as we needed to get ourselves organised for the shoot.

Once the shoot began all the Photogropher’s were very polite listened to what we wanted but were also giving us there input to make the most out of the photos. If you were every thinking about organising a shoot or wanted to hire someone these guys I would highly recommend

It's a great place with incredible amount of props and very helpful and friendly staff.

i just love shooting from there, as I know that it's guaranteed that everything is going to run smoothly!

Had yet another wonderful shoot here at the Old bakery, they held a open weekend studio day. Many photographers has come along to the event and it was a pleasure to be chosen to model for them. As always the place is well equipped and recently been painted. They strive the best to make it a great place to shoot in.

Went to an open day at The Old Bakery today, my first visit. There were displays from Robert White (Flaghead) on Tether Tools equipment which I found really useful. Also was able to take a few shots of model for the morning, MillyJean.

Studio was clean and tidy and well equipped can’t ask for more than that!

The staff at the studio were very helpful, and I imagine it is a great studio to learn new skills, their evening shoots for example.

Very much enjoyed the morning visit. Thank you all for your efforts. Highly recommended.

Had yet another fantastic themed event at this studio...brilliant photographers, very well organised events, lots of cool props to use and a brilliant MUA. It was a really fun night, which I thoroughly enjoyed even if it took me ages to scrub off all the paint and the end of the shoot...:D

Can't wait to shoot there again, highly recommended!

I had my first shoot at the old bakery with a photography group. I'm glad I went - it's a lovely place, there are different coloured backdrops and lighting options. All photographers were lovely and professional and I had a great time.

I have already had some images back and think they look great!

I was contacted by Richard to do a oriental shoot on Saturday. I had the pleasure to work with 5 very talented photographers at the old Bakery studio. Everyone was so friendly and I felt comfortable in the studio, it was well equipped, with beautiful outfits supplied by Richard and many headpiece and accessories to make the look and feel work. I had a fantastic day and I look forward to the next creative shoot!

I have attended on many group shoots before at this amazing studio, and I had the pleasure to work there again this week on an UV-paint themed workshop. It is a very well equipped studio and they always come up with amazing ideas for these events. There was also a very professional makeup artist creating lots of different looks thought the evening. The photographers are welcoming, respectful and friendly, and it was all around a very fun evening. I am loving the images I have received so far, and I can't wait to work at this lovely place again, highly recommended! :)
