WOW What a shoot. Had a lovely shoot with the wonderful Colin during my recent tour to the East Midlands at my hired apartment in Nottingham.

Prior to shooting pre-communication was great and everything was super easy to plan and organise. We were my last slot of the tour and shot quite early in the morning before my apartment check-out. I appreciated Colin getting up so early for me on a Sunday. Colin was friendly and easy to get on with from the start. We had a hot drink and a good chat before shooting then did some practice shots in many locations around the apartment testing a variety of natural and artificial light. Soon it was ready to start shooting and we shot a load of different looks from the classic little back dress, a few skirts and tops, red lingerie with Colins awesome shirt and some place lingerie too. Everything just flowed so well as we got such fabulous images together. I loved how creative Colin was an he had ideas to use the space that I hadn't even thought of before he really thinks outside of the box, is so creative and knows how to use natural light to his advantage.

After the shoot Colin kindly helped me put a few things back in the apartment such as furniture ect and then he dropped me to the train station too very kind of him.

After the shoot Colin also sent me some images and valued my choices in the selection which I really appreciated him having my input. He's just posted some final edits and I am blown away by the results. 110% recommended from me.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Colin Hurst again and this time on a captivating photo shoot themed as 'Dark Lady of the Manor' at a breathtaking country home. Colin brought not only technical expertise but also a keen artistic vision to the photoshoot. His ability to capture the mood and atmosphere of not only the theme itself but also the surroundings and environment was truly impressive. The final images exceeded my expectations.

Our 16th shoot together and as always was amazing.

It’s not much to say as the number of shoots speaks for itself.

As it’s winter and cold we shot at Tagdown studio which was nice and warm.

The shoot was enjoyable and fun as always.

Definitely highly recommended by me.

I had the pleasure of working with Colin on my model day at Bodyline Studio, what a lovely guy. Very chatty and friendly and easy to work with.

Excellent pre shoot communication and preparation, providing me with examples of what i would be doing on the shoot, we got through a number of different sets and from what I could see on back of camera the pics look great.

I will look forward to hopefully working with Colin again.

It’s amazing how great we work and understand each other, and we always archive great images.

The Traditional House

I had the pleasure of meeting & welcoming Colin to my home ‘The Traditional House’ for the second time.

This time he arrived with Lady Viper..a great model/actress,they had such a wonderful rapport together it was amazing to watch & see the images through out the day.

Always a pleasure to see Colin very professional,true gentleman & very respectful of my home.

The first time he visited my home I had some shots done with him too (he made me feel very at ease ,extremely friendly & a pleasure to work with)

I look forward to welcoming Colin back sooner rather than later.

I can 100% recommend Colin ..that’s if his diary is not too booked up.

Not much to say as the number of shoots we’ve had together speaks and tells itself.

Our 13th shoot and yet always enjoyable, fun and great results from it.

Weather was not making up its mind but Colin and I work very well together, so we worked around the weather and got some nice shots.

Always a pleasure working with and obviously borrowing his hat which is in my wardrobe now.

Thank you for always making our shoots so fun and entertaining.

I worked with Colin for the first time. Pre comms were very good through out and once I had met him I felt at ease straight away.

Colin came to York to meet me to work on some landscape model and portrait photography and although we shot for a few hours in the warm sunny weather up until mid day, it flew by and ran smoothly.

Colin is very friendly and I would highly recommend him to a beginner or a professional model.

He is a highly skilled photographer that knows exactly what he is doing.

I am very pleased with the images we have both created together and I look forward to the second shoot with him.

It's been a while and time moves on but Colin remains an excellent visitor; professional, polite, respectful but most of all, very talented. Colin managed to work through quite a few sets, both inside and out, and has captured some wonderful images of his model, whom he worked with very well.

Pre Shoot communication and preparation with Colin is outstanding. He helps preparing the shoot.

Colin gives clear instructions while giving the model freedom for creativity. He is very smart and adapts to the shoot conditions and the model to get the best images.

Colin makes every shot count, every picture is important. He is got a magic eye to find the best spots to get the best lighting conditions.

His pictures show how carefully he works and have his own signature, he makes me look young and pretty.

🎞 Kempston Studio [Studio Hire, Bedford] 🎞

Happy to welcome Colin to the studio for his triple header shoot with two models and a maternity couple.

All Colin’s models were kept informed at what he was doing and how he could get the best from the shoots.

Colon knows his settings and lighting.

Respectful to his models and the studio and equipment and I would love to have Colin back in the not too distant future.

I shot with Colin for the first time in some Nature up north :)

Instantly I felt comfortable around him and we got so many sets done, as well as had breaks during walks to our next shooting locations. Colin is professional, respectful, kind, creative and is passionate about photography.

We shot mainly fashion with one lingerie-esque style and Colin made sure to ask to see if I was warm enough.

Shoot number 10th under our belt and it was a success.

Even though it was a cold weather ( as normally we have always been blessed with warm weather on our shoots ) we managed to deliver some amazing images.

It’s always a pleasure working with this gentleman and I can say we are a great team together as you can see it’s our 10th shoot.

I really don’t want to repeat myself but he’s a true gentleman and amazing photographer to work with.

I always look forward to our shoots and I’m sure spring will put us together again.
