I'm currently on a permanent forum posting ban untill further notice due to voicing my opinion so cannot participate in the forums.

Hi, I'm a hobbyist photographer in the very early stages of learning portraiture- (although I have been an enthusiastic landscape and other genre photographer on and off for some years now)- I have limited subjects to practice on that have the patience to stay in front of a lens for any any period of time exceeding about 5 minutes lol, so I thought I'd give this site a go in order to make contact with people that I could shoot and hopefully learn some things along the way.

I'm not an expert in Photoshop and I don't own a copy but can make basic adjustments in the alternative software that is freely available- but I try to get my images correct in camera to avoid excessive re-touching later.

So far my main subjects have been landscapes, wildlife, pets, and macro shots of all manner of things mainly utilizing natural light but I am using off camera flash and/ or reflectors more and more lately for non moving subjects. In the near future I am considering putting together a small home studio and booking professional studio's to take advantage of their setups once I'm more proficient in using lighting.

Obviously I am happy to pay for a models time- but anyone happy to take a punt on a newbie to portraiture on a trade for photo's on CD basis/ part payed, part TF etc would be very welcome.

Well now that I've managed to sell myself not very well lol- I look forward to taking more portraiture shots in the near future.
