I had a fabulous shoot with Phil organised by Visionary Photographic Events. He is very relaxed and laid back and such a joy to work with. He works very well in group settings. I have seen some lovely images so far from the shoot and I would highly recommend working with him!

I do love working with Phil! Always a pleasure and he always makes me laugh. Over the years Phil has attended countless amounts of my shoots and events and is probably one of the most supportive creatives and of course has become a solid friend too. I’m always chuffed to have him at one of my events and always look forward to seeing the awesome shots he takes too.

Phil is one of the most laid back and hilarious photographers you can meet. The biscuit/Jaffa cake jokes over the years are of course my favourite 😂

Yesterday Phil came to my portrait evening at Crossroads and we captured everything from vintage looks to the ever so bright fresnel portraits! I particularly loved the fresnel ones! Awesome guy, awesome photographer and I’ll always highly recommend. Thankyou so much for everything Phil xx

Crossroads Studio

Phil was shooting again with Marie Jean Saxton today, but this time out on the moors above Haworth.

He was ready for the shoot, and although it was a group shoot, was ready to suggest locations, camera settings etc. Although the studio was really only used as a meeting place I did get the opportunity to see him shoot as I was there to lend a hand with gear (lighting, stands etc) if need be.

Phil always is fun to have around and gets on brilliantly with models and photographers alike.

I’d recommend Phil to any model, whatever level, as you’ll definitely get amazing images back.

Crossroads Studio

Phil attended the Marie Jean Saxton maternity shoot at Crossroads Studio today.

Phil has visited the studio a few times now and always brings fresh ideas with him.

He is a chatty guy who certainly knows his way around a camera and lighting set ups. Always ready to have a laugh, he puts his models at ease with his easy going nature. A genuine nice guy.

For any model who gets the chance to work with Phil, I would advise you to do just that.

I had a wonderful first shoot with Phil at York Photo Studio and hopefully we can work together again! :)

We had an amazing shoot, full of laughs and jokes and stupid faces (mine, of course) and I loved it sooooo much! Phil was so kind putting up with my weird ideas and strange sense of humour - I think we might actually share the same sense of humour haha!

Besides all the laughing and funny faces - Phil is an amazing photographer, I was really pleased with our results and his ideas, he was so easy going and down to earth and our 2 hours just flew by..

Phil was my last shoot of the day in a recent studio day I did at York photo studio - he came in full of sarcasm and relaxed humour, brilliant stories and when I asked what he wanted to shoot he was happy for me to do whatever I fancied which was wonderfully refreshing! He seemed to easily capture whatever pose or mood I wanted, making the shoot feel very smooth and easy. I loved what I saw on back of camera and I can’t wait to see edits - Thankyou Phil for being the loveliest surprise of my day!

Another Notch Photography

Phil was part of a team of photographers who worked on a shoot in an old town library in Masham, North Yorkshire. He was very polite, friendly, professional and had a great attitude. He worked TFP and stayed all day to get the best results.

His photography equipment is top notch.

I fully recommend working with Phil.

Phil was just fabulous to work with!

The whole shoot was really relaxed and we just worked through different ideas and looks together creating a lovely range of images!...

He also came with an awesome wookie coat which looked epic in shots and was really fun to wear and most importantly led to some epic shots!

I would certainly recommend Phil, laid back, chatty and creative! Perfect shoot which actually flew by!...

I shot with Phil for the first time at York photo studio last week :) can’t believe it was our first time shooting as we only live 30 mins apart!

Phill was lovely! We had a good chin wag throughout the shoot and a good laugh whilst working!

We shot lots of difffenf changes and looks through our session and lots of difffent light set ups which is always great to learn new lighting and to see what it achieves on an image.

This was my 2nd shoot with Phil and it was a very last minute planned shoot but a very enjoyable one. I was touring in Manchester and I booked a lovely hotel room. We just decided to 'wing it' and see what we got and we did get some really cool awesome shots. Phil is really chilled and so much fun to model for. He came well prepared and on time too. I do hope to model for Phil again in the near future :) 100% recommended.
