A moment captured in a click, a moment that is gone, never to come back, and when we see the photo we often wish we had done a better job with the lighting, a better job with the make up, or had a better background.

Many things can be done in photoshop... and the time to achieve them increases with the complexity of the changes -  from minutes to hours. Some people can't do it themselves, and some don't have time to do it.

At some point I may fix the rates by type or retouching. At the moment I'm offering free retouching for one or two photos if they add to my portfolio. Where I charge, it will obviously be dependent on how much time I spend on each photo, and if you don't intend to use the photos in print then the resolution needed for online content is much lower and also much detail is already lost or isn't visible at that resolution, which also means it's less time I will need to be editing them, which consequently means that if you want photos retouched at online content resolution, they will be cheaper.

What I can do:

Fix lighting - better if you have a RAW file

Enhance lighting if it was from a wrong angle

Remove blemishes

Remove wrinkles

Improve skin texture

Cleaning up eyes and teeth

Apply make up (lipstick, eye make up, eye colour etc)

Adding eyelashes

Thicken hair, fill in hair, draw hair

Change background - ideally you should supply the background that you have rights to use

Add or remove objects from the background within reason

Abstract backgrounds

Fractal backgrounds

Glow to objects

Fake tattoos

Removal of tattoos

Removal of stretch marks

Giving metallic look to objects or skin

Giving shiny plastic look to skin
