It was an absolute pleasure to be Ramees' first shoot back in a while and what a blast it was! We agreed to shoot in his lovely home and as usual his pre shoot communications were excellent, providing me with all the details I could need ahead of the shoot.

I've worked with Ramees many times now and each shoot feels like catching up with an old friend - in fact we hadn't worked together for quite some time that we spent most of the time jabbering to each other!

He was polite and professional, as is Ramees' way and conversation easily flowed. He was respectful of me throughout the shoot and took time to allow me to comfortably pose before he took the shots.

The back of camera shots looked epic and the edits I've seen so far are equally as cool - shooting on film with Ramees is always so much fun!

I enjoyed myself immensely and look forward to our next encounter. Thankyou for a wonderful shoot - see you soon!

Ramees and I recently had the pleasure to work together on our fifteenth shoot, this past week. This was our first shoot since covid hit, and yet it felt like no time had passed at all.

Ramees' pre shoot communications were excellent, as usual, well thought out, well planned and then well executed. Despite having some issues with public transport, Ramees travelled to me and arrived on time (in fact early!) and breezed through the issues!

During the shoot itself, we spent time catching up, and then set off to shoot in the various areas of my home, taking full advantage of the lovely natural light. The back of camera shots were fantastic throughout the shoot, and I loooved seeing the best shots on his digital camera before taking the real shot on the film cameras!

We get along so incredibly well, and I can't wait to see him again next month, this time in his home! I look forward to shooting with him again, definitely recommended. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

Ramees and I worked together for the fourteenth time and it felt just like the first! Ramees has a natural talent with a camera, with an excellent eye for detail and knows exactly how to arrange his composition.

I truly enjoy working with Ramees and like usual all pre communications were excellent helping to make our shoot as productive as possible. Although we abandoned some ideas in favour of new ones it didnt stop us creating some truly magical images.

It is always a pleasure to work with someone as creative and inspiring as Ramees and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

It's not about loving his work, it's about just adoring his work!

The atmosphere he creates with music, props and memorabilia makes you believe you are in the swinging 60's/70's!

This was a planned day with Cariad, Angel Black and Kieran so sociable time was minimal due to being so busy but any time spent with Ramees I will gladly take!

Once again I travelled to Newport to shoot with Ramees in his home studio, only this time we had Cariad, Kieran and J Black with us! It was a pleasure shooting duo with Cariad and Ramees and I truly had a great shoot. Ramees' pre shoot communications were once again, faultless, as was the entire shoot!

Ramees is bursting with ideas and for our first set we headed to the local park and took in the autumnal atmosphere which really helped to spark mine and Cariad's creativity in the fresh morning leaves!

I have worked with Ramees on many occasions and each time has been a lovely experience, with this one being no exception.

Well it seems weird to be writing a reference for Ramees, as over the last year we have spent quite some time together and I would consider him a good friend.

Ramees is wonderful. Kind and immediately endearing. I basically couldn't say a bad word about him. I enjoy every visit to his home and always look forward to catching up.

I so respect that he still chooses to shoot on film and the results are, I think, testament to the fact that still, digital photographs simply cannot compete with the look and feel of 35mm. It takes courage and commitment to work in this format and the number of incredible images that Ramees manages to produce shows that he has both in spades.

Anyway, I may just be biased because he let me play on his vintage guitars but I would not hesitate to recommend Ramees to anyone. My partner Cariad has worked with him countless times now and still looks forward to doing so and I happily tag along for a day out.

Ramees has also visited our home and small studio and was the perfect guest. I hope he will visit again in the new year as I would love to work out on location with him sometime. We have some cool ideas involving classic cars, which I'm eager to get on with!

I had a lovely shoot with Ramees at ''back to the 70s'' event and hopefully we will be able to work together again one day!

It was a pure pleasure to work with Ramees! He is such a cheerful, happy and positive person ! His mood and optimistic approach definitely affected all of us in a positive way :) Ramees, apart from being a happy, enthusiastic person, is also a great photographer with his own style and technique. He is also respectful and professional at the same time.

I would definitely recommend working with him.

I have been working with Ramees for nearly 5 years now and honestly each shoot is so varied and different from the last. I love how we work together and the flow of each shoot just goes with ease.

We usually shoot from Ramees home as I live quite far away, this time however Ramees came to stay in my newly finished home studio. I appreciate all the hospitality Ramees and his family put in over the years and it was great to finally give back. It was lovely to have him over for food and board the night before and make a full day of shooting together the next day.

Ramees is one of the first few to use my home studio and the shots he got are amazing! I love how he composed each image and he really inspired me more in my own space. His use of angles and composition are legendary and as I have said before, he is the king of Vintage!

Thanks again for another awesome shoot, I am already looking forward to our next one later this year :)

Another fabulous shoot with Ramees, this time at his lovely home studio in Newport.

I have been working with Ramees for about 5 years now and we always have such a great time and create really cool images together.

We both have a love for anything 60s/70s with styling, music, photography and Film etc so we get along great.

The shoot last week was very productive, fun and laid back too.

Ramees even cooked me a tasty curry for lunch...perfect :)

Ramees and I got together for our final time this year and what a joy it truly was! I arrived at his house eager to go and I wasn't disappointed when I arrived, as we hoped straight into shooting and hit his back garden with all of the beautiful morning light.

All pre shoot communications were excellent (as usual) and I knew our style and aims straight away. Ramees is excellent at putting across his ideas and we were able to interpret them really well! :D

Ramees is a proper gentleman and makes you feel at ease straight away, which is perfect when you're travelling to his lovely home to shoot. He has a beautiful attic studio which makes for a stunning and comfortable location.

I highly recommend Ramees, and look forward to our next shoot :)

So after over 4 years of waiting I finally got the opportunity to work with Ramees!

Ramees kindly accommodated me for the night. We shot half a day on my arrival and a full day the day after. Ramees and his family are very welcoming, and make sure you're well fed and hydrated and have a lovely attic room where models Can sleep. His mum was super complimentary and made me feel right at home.

Ramees himself is very kind and considerate and obviously very passionate about his work. He has such a unique vision for his photography which makes for some unusual and beautiful images. We got a lot done over 2 days and I thoroughly enjoyed the shoot.

I'm sure this will be the first of many and I already look forward to working with Ramees and visiting his family once again.

Ramees is a gentle soul who creates lovely images. he is hands down one of the most considerate and caring photographers on purple port, always respectful of levels and models thoughts and feelings. I love love loveeeeee his amazing collection of vintage clothing he has for shoots, ( gorgeous) and has a number of vintage film cameras he uses for shoots- so the shots have a real retro feel to them and are very interesting. he is passionate about his work, professional , and i always look forward to the next time working together :)

Wow another amazing shoot with my great friend Ramees!

I just love shooting with him!

Everytime we shoot he amazes me with his creativity! This time we shot in my sister's place in Bristol. We shot indoors and outdoors both ranging from different styles and using some of his fab outfits he brought with him.

His work is so unique and he is definitely up there with my favourite photographers.

As always I went away buzzing from our shoot!

Bring on next time and I can not wait to see the beautiful images we made!

My first shoot with Ramees today in his home studio. What a gentleman! Ramees is very polite and respected my levels. We created a different range of images, from fashion to implied nude, inside and also in the garden. My personal favourite being the images that included the records and 1960's playboy magazines, shot implied nude which told the story brilliantly of what we were trying to create. He was a wide selection of outfits, including some fantastic dresses and amazing white boots! Thank you for being so accommodating to us both. I look forward to working with you again. Ramees and I shot in my home today and just like every other shoot, this one was a blast too! All pre shoot communications were excellent and we had clear ideas planned for our shoot. He arrived on time, well prepared and ready to go.

Throughout the duration of the shoot we managed to get through so many ideas, themes and outfits, even managing to get some outdoor location shots!

Ramees is a true gentleman with a very kind heart. All conversation is always so free flowing and we never seem to run out words to exchange with each other!

I regard Ramees as a true friend and wouldn't hesitate to work with him again!

I had a brilliant shoot with Ramees last Saturday. It was the third time we've shot together and it was so good to meet again. I absolutely love shooting with Ramees. He provides such an enjoyable, relaxed atmosphere that I've just never experienced with any other photographer. We just click! :)

I went to Ramees' house, where I've been before and was warmly welcomed into the house by Ramees and his mother, who like Ramees, is such a lovely person. Ramees was very accommodating throughout the shoot. He is kind and considerate and has so many ideas. I love how passionate he is, and his style is so unique. Ramees has so much patience and it's applaudable how dedicated he is to producing his work on film. It's amazing to be a part of it.

Ramees and I shot for 8 hours and we covered a lot in the time. We spent some time outside in his lovely garden as well as using his beautiful attic / home studio. It's a great space with stunning natural light flowing in through the rooflights. Ramees asked if I would be happy for his mother to direct for a short time and I was totally fine with it. It was a real pleasure to take direction from her. She had some great ideas and I loved seeing how happy it made her.

I really enjoyed this shoot with Ramees. It was so great to see how much he has progressed in his photography in such a short time. It seems that Ramees' ideas for shoots are never-ending! I consider Ramees to be a good friend and it makes me very happy to see how far he has come.

I would without a doubt work with Ramees again. He is a brilliant photographer and also a kind and thoughtful friend. We have honest, interesting conversations together and it's always a unique and enjoyable experience to shoot with him. I would highly recommend him.

Ramees is an amazing photographer with the kindest soul. I was immediately comfortable working with him at his home studio and really enjoyed our shoot together and chatting to Ramees inbetween. I feel so lucky and grateful to have worked with him and absolutely hope to work with him again.

Ramees and I got together again today for what we believe to be our ninth shoot, and what an absolute joy it was. Ramees and I get along like old friends, joking and laughing about, making our shoots full of fun and creativity. We bounce off of one another so much so that our ideas seem endless and by the time our time is finished we've already planned our next shoot!

I truly consider Ramees an incredible man with a keen eye for detail and a very talented photographer. He makes you feel at ease and completely comfortable from the get go.

Ramees once again cooked a lovely lamb curry for me (which was delicious!) helping us to refuel halfway through the day. His mother directed for a short time and it was truly heart warming to see her smile and be as happy as she she when Ramees showed her the image on the back of the camera- the image she'd thought of.

Each and every shoot with this wonderful man sends a thrill of excitement through my spine and I can never wait until we shoot again.

I cant recommend him enough, for a huge variety of reasons. One of which would be his music choice!

Ramees truly is a hidden gem who deserves to be discovered.

At the risk of embarrassing the poor chap, I’d like to write a reference - even though I’ve never met or spoken to Ramees. I’m just a keen amateur portraitist with no great qualifications to judge, but think his images have a beautiful & atmospheric quality that makes him stand out amongst the PP elite cadre (and that’s a STRONG cadre!) When you realise that his stuff is done on film (without all the wonderful conveniences of digital) then it’s hard not to be awed.

After such a reference - he daren't ever post a sub-standard image.....

No Pressure Ramees! ;-)

Now now.... where do I start.... ahh! I have shot with the King of vintage/ film/ 60's that many times, that another reference seems silly but after a further 3 shoots since my last ref I thought an update was in order.... update: He is still awesome!

For our last shoot, we went exploring along the waters edge of the River Severn. This is one of the first times I have done location shooting with Ramees away from his home. We were blessed with the perfect sky, slightly clouded but not dull, I can't wait to see the final images :)

Exploring and finding locations together was loads of fun, and as usual, Ramees' concepts and ideas were fantastic and totally in keeping with his flare for vintage couture.

I am looking forward to shooting with him again in a few weeks! I will never tire of working with this true gent and being so proud of the work we do together :)
