This was RLUX 's first shoot with us at the studio, and what a really nice man. Arrived ontime and was eager to get looking around. Its great to see a photographer with great direction from what he wants from a shoot but also to incorporate new ideas with what is around him.

I had another superb shoot with Richard today at the Retreat Outpost near Stroud. It’s no secret that I love working with this very talented and professional photographer - and today produced yet more stunning results.

I really enjoy Richard’s company and we have developed an extremely good working relationship which means no matter where we are shooting we get straight into it!

There’s a mutual respect and admiration for each other’s work and we are very collaborative in the way that we shoot - throwing ideas to the mix and developing concepts together as we go along.

I love Richard’s often experimental approach to photography and the fact that he’s always looking to try new things and push himself beyond what he’s tried before.

Many thanks for another amazing shoot and I can’t wait for the next! :)

I enjoyed another creative remote shoot with Richard recently, the images are fantastic!! He made some brilliant requests to plan our shoot around the sunset background, movement and light, and we worked together to explore a range of fantastic effects, with Richard giving great direction and feedback. I love what he did with the editing also.

Can't wait to work with Richard in person later in the year at Fareham Studio, looking forward to it :-)

Richard came to work with Melany and Retro Rob for the first time at the studio and wow what a genuinely lovely guy he is. His friendly nature along with his love for photography is great to be around and he has some cool ideas too. Would happily see Richard back at the studio again.

What an absolute pleasure it was working again with this awesome Photographer.

Having worked with Richard before on a location shoot in Bristol with Melany I knew we were guaranteed some awesome images and once again Richard sure delivered just that.

Such a great collaborative feel and brilliant eye for a image was brought to Inspire Studios on the day and I can say once again it was a real pleasure to work with Richard thank you so much for a brilliant shoot and I loot forward to working with you again real soon and continuing the magic!

I was so chuffed that Richard booked a slot at a studio day I was co-hosting with Retro Rob at Inspire Studios.

The theme of the event was Fred & Ginger and Richard got totally on board with the theme and the images that we were trying to create. He used his energy, enthusiasm, creativity and originally to capture some superb images! The two hours flew by and all 3 of us worked so well as a team.

I really REALLY enjoy working with Richard. I love his company and find him super interesting to talk with, his knowledge of photography and collaborative approach means that I always find myself shooting different styles with him.

Very highly recommended and can't wait to work with Richard again x

Richard and I shot on the North Somerset coast and having shot with him before I knew it was going to be a great day!

We had full sun but they didn’t bother Richard, as always he had the right kit with him and his usual enthusiastic and creative attitude!

We had a incredible few hours shooting mainly art nude on a nearly deserted beach, which felt very fortuitous as the summer holidays have now started.

We got straight into shooting and it was an absolute joy to work alongside each other, picking out features from this incredible landscape and exploring what images we could creates from them.

I was blown away with the images Richard was capturing and the 4 hours went by way to quickly.

In short, Richard comes very highly recommended as he’s a delight to work with, lovely company, and a fantastic photographer. Can’t wait for the next shoot with him! :)

I worked with the lovely Rich at my home for a few hours and it was so lovely to catch up! Sorry for the belated reference (I have been enjoying post wedding bliss! :) )

Its been so lovely knowing Rich over the years and seeing his photography develop and blossom! I consider Rich a really good friend and love his company! He is such an old school gentleman, so endearing, softly spoken and kind!

He has the most creative mind and eye for capturing totally stunning images. His manner in the studio is totally professional, but with a sense of humour that makes the day fly by. Watching him work is a real pleasure as he just flows so naturally, which makes life for the model much easier.

It was a pleasure to work with Richard remotely! It was the first time we met, but Richard had great, efficient communication, and sent some helpful requests and starting points for us to work on during our 2 hour shoot.

I loved that he was up for some experimental images, and he absolutely embraced the remote method with curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm, despite previously being skeptical of this approach. He got into the flow of the technique very well, was friendly and considerate throughout, and I ADORE the images we created, they are some of my favourites from my remote sessions so far!

Happily recommended, and I hope to work with Richard again in the future, be it remotely or in-person :-) Many thanks!!

We shot at my outside location and Rich was very adventurous looking for slightly different parts of the forest to shoot at...We achieved so many amazing images...

Rich is always respectful, professional, considerate towards me (apart from tripping over a tree trunk and nearly falling on top of me haha) and I am very comfortable around Rich...oh yes oh yes, he is one of the best!!!!!

Richard recently attended a studio day here at Rawpics Studio with Melany.

Richard arrived well in time for the start of the event and had great pre shoot comms with Melany and myself.

Richard brought along his printed portfolio to show us his style of work and I have to admit his work is absolutely amazing.

Whilst we were going through the shoot plans, Richard was always courteous and extremely polite, showing full respect to Melany and myself and the studio equipment.

I have to say if anyone is looking for an extremely imaginative and creative photographer, Richard is your man

Wow what a super shoot today with Richard! I’ve worked with him twice before and both shoots were excellent. This time were shooting on location on a stunning beach in South Wales.

Richard’s pre-shoot comms were very good as before and he is really lovely, easy going company. The shoot was relaxed yet productive and very creative making use of the stunning surroundings and a selection of interesting kit that Richard brought including a new infrared camera and a fish eye lense.

He has a superb eye for detail and makes great choices when it comes to styling for each sequence.

Richard has a very good artistic and scientific knowledge of photography and he was happy to share this whilst we progressed through the shoot. He works very collaboratively and the ideas were free flowing between us both.

I really enjoyed his sense of adventure and enthusiasm and willingness to try new things. We work really well together and I hope to work with Richard again soon.
