Hello, fellow creatives!!! Welcome to my little corner of Purple Port. My name is Robert and I am a multi-faceted photographer based just outside Cardiff, under my brand name RP Imaging.

I became interested in photography many years ago through urban exploration, and I continue to enjoy capturing the eerie and striking beauty of abandoned and derelict places and landscapes - There's something quite awe-inspiring in being in a place where nature is reclaiming it for itself! But also I love creating images of people too and as a result, I'm having the fantastic opportunity to work with some amazing models and see some amazing places for on-location shoots.

I am keen to develop my skills in other types of photography disciplines too, particularly capturing the human form, surrealism, drone portraits and studio-based photography. I'm a big believer in experimentation and practice and as a result, I'm looking forward to working with new and experienced models and creatives.

I'm hoping to develop a portfolio that captures an eclectic body of work from images that draw the viewer into the scene, to providing the model with the opportunity to pose questions and or tell a story through the lens.

Slovakia, Austria, Czech Republic and Hungary. June / July 2024

I'll be visiting the wonderful cities of Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Brno as part of my European tour, and would love the opportunity to collaborate with few creative models on my travels. Please do get in touch if you'd like to collaborate.
