Well, two years on and I got to work with Sarah once again today....and it was worth the wait! I love working with this young lady....she's such a breath of fresh air. Pre-comms were excellent and Sarah arrived on time with enough clothes for 5 shoots. Her selections of clothing were perfect for the ideas / locations we had previously discussed. Not the warmest of days, but Sarah worked really hard and without complaint once during our location shoot, as she was just as determined as myself to get the most from our efforts. A wonderful model with a great attitude...totally recommended to one and all.

Sarah and I had a great day in Brighton doing some street fashion in various locations. Sarah was great with her input and made it easy to work with her also taking direction well when asked meaning we could get a lot done!!!

Sarah is a cool human, creative with the desire to express it. Super lucky to of worked with her and grateful for her giving me the time, maybe we will shoot again in future if I return to the UK.

Sarah was very easy to work with and we got along really well. With no formal shot list agreed before the meet it was a creative session with lots of ideas and input from Sarah. She came well prepared with lots of clothes and lots of patience for trying different setups and lighting angles. I can definitely see us working together again in the future. :)

What a lovely quirky model

Todays shoot was arranged by another photographer, so wasn't sure what to expect, but Sarah arrived on time with a fantastic (and huge) suitcase full of interesting outfits.

Sarah poses easily and takes on board all the suggestions for poses and expressions. She really is very easy to work with and we managed to capture some fantastic shots.

I was testing out some new equipment on the shoot and she had no problem with me experimenting with different lighting, even venturing outside behind the rain showers to capture some natural light shots.

No hesitation recommending SarahJD, hope to work with her again soon

I have just had a really enjoyable shoot with Sarah JD, she is a lovely person and a very good model, the two hour shoot flew by.

Pre shoot communications were excellent with good prompt responses and questions showing real interest in the images I hoped to capture.

Sarah poses freely without need of direction but happily accepts suggestions and was often a step ahead changing the pose before being asked.

We have similar ideas and I hope to be able to work on future projects.

All in all a highly recommended model :)

Rather than reiterate what I said in my previous reference, I thought I’d talk about just why I was so keen to work with Sarah again.

Aside from her excellent modelling skills, Sarah is very creative, helpful and understanding of what the photographer is trying to achieve - but never in an intrusive way. Sarah works extremely hard with photographers to realise their visions, whilst also accepting, understanding and doing her best to negate any limitations that may be encountered during the shoot.

I needed to work with someone who fully understood the experimental nature of what I wanted to do, could adopt a positive pragmatic approach, and be comfortable that if there were any results, they may not be very flattering. Sarah fully appreciated this, and worked with me to ensure that we had the highest possible chance of achieving what I envisaged.

I highly recommend Sarah to all photographers, and it doesn’t surprise me that there is a rapidly growing number of them eager to work with such a talented, creative and versatile model.

Sarah replied to my last second casting, we had been messaging anyway. First thing is Sarah is polite, professional and excellent in communicating, makes life so easy, in front of the camera Sarah comes alive I have never known a lady change so much in front of it.

Sarah is a well educated lady and knows about photography so it helps greatly. We just wanted to explore lighting and headshots, we got some beautiful and stunning images and will be proud to have them on my profile when complete. Highly recommended, this is a lady you cant judge until you see her in the camera she is simply fantastic, We already talked about seeing each other again for a longer shoot. I've had my first photo shoot today with sarah and she showed up promptly and brought a range of different outfits and shoes. (Which was super helpful!) she took direction very well and was completely open to any new pose or position to achieve interesting shots. As soon as you meet her she is a very warm,friendly and welcoming person which allowed me to get on with her straight away! And her lovely personality was matched with a high state of professionalism that was consistent throughout the shoot. It was a pleasure working with sarah and I look forward to our next shoot!✌🏻

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Sarah today at The Cottage Studio. Sarah’s enthusiasm, grace, poise and natural beauty shone throughout the entire shoot.

There are models who model outwardly, and models who model with their heart and soul – and Sarah is definitely the latter type. From start to finish, Sarah brought so much to the shoot, and put so much into the shoot, that I hope the small part I played does justice to her efforts. A truly wonderful, aesthetically aware model, who has that rare and uncanny knack of knowing just what you’re trying to achieve, and quietly goes about fulfilling it.

Sarah is a great model with tonnes of 'can do' attitude. I shot with her recently and she was happy to push herself, despite very cold weather' to achieve the desired look and pose. She listens very well and gives 100% She has an amazing figure and is made for fashion! Great communications and punctuality. Totally recommendable.

I had the honour of spending most of today wandering around Sheffield with Sarah. Very relaxed shoot, but we got some real crackers. Sarah fed in to the whole process with a great attitude, which was beneficial to the end results. Communications couldn't have been better, her preparation with regards outfits was superb and was a total pleasure to work with from start to finish. Hopefully not the last time we collaborate.

I had the pleasure of working with Sarah for the first time today at my studio in Nottingham. Pre-shoot communication was excellent, she arrived at the agreed time and she came well prepared. I think most photographers would admit that when a model you work with regularly says "I have a friend who would like some photos done " their heart sinks and you wonder whether to balance your professional judgement against your personal preference. However, when that model is Angel White, you tend to agree, and her good friend Sarah proved to be an absolute treasure to work with. She was up against it, as I pointed out to her, working alongside one of the most experienced and popular models on PurplePort,in the same session, and as she is a totaly different type of model. With a training in ballet she has an elegance and posture that many models would envy, coupled with an open mind and a great sense of fun. Look forward to seeing her again next time she visits Brighton.
