References for Sean Munro Photography

It was great to finally work and meet Sean on my trip to the UK this month. We have been in contact for the past few months before I came planning a shoot. I'm very happy with the images we produced. He was in great contact with me all the way up to the shoot date. Sent great ideas and mood board images for me to help plan and style the shoot the way he wanted. He also invited along a lovely talented make up artist. They were both a real joy to be around for the day. It is hard to believe he is new to the industry and photography but he has a natural eye. I have worked with many photographers in my years of modeling and was a very happy with the outcome of our shoot. Sean was very laid back, kind, and professional. He offered me snacks and took care of dinner. I hope to work with him again in the near future :).

Had a great shoot with Sean at his home studio this Saturday. His communication prior and during the shoot was faultless and he really made me feel at ease and able to experiment with some different ideas. He's committed to what he does and we created some stunning images. I was also very well looked after. Would love to work with Sean again!

So I had a shoot with this lovely fellow and the beautiful Vanessa Sicre, after I applied to a casting call, and we shot last Sunday for the afternoon/evening - what an amazing place Sean has! Sean is an awesome individual, very friendly, creative and enthusiastic; we got some absolutely fab images, love this man's style. It was a lovely shoot, and I'd jump at the chance to work with Sean again. Highly recommended!

I've not done many duo shoots, and this was lots of fun - Sean is very easy going with a great sense of style, and his home is absolutely perfect for shoots (:

The long travel definitely worth it! Perfect communication before the shoot, and I arrived into a beautifully set up home studio, probably the best I've seen :)

The shoot was great, I loved the photos both on he back of the camera and on the screen.

The ideas were clear and he knew what he's doing with the background and lights to make some amazing images. I was dying to see the photos and could barely wait!

I didn't stay hungry either, I was taken to a small restaurant for a lovely meal for a lunch break! And I got cookies too :) he really treats models the best way possible!

Overall the shoot was a very good experience and I'm happy to hop on the train again to work :)

Highly recommended, if you get a chance to shoot, don't miss it!

So, i owe Sean two of these, so i will merge them :)

I shot with Sean almost a month ago for the second time and i felt even more comfortable than i could imagine. Sean knows how to get the best out of someone and he certainly did with me.

All of the images were to die for and my best work currently.

i have just spent 4 days in the warmth of italy with Mr Munro, being my first time abroad Sean made me feel 100% safe and secure and was completely understanding of the fact that heels are not great to walk in on cobbled floor.

I simply cannot wait to shoot with Sean again, great photographer and all round person :)

So I first met Sean on a recent workshop, first impressions were that he was a really lovely guy, polite, easy going and a good sense of humor. I could see Sean had a real passion for photography he was really keen to get the images he wanted.

From the workshop we then planned a shoot at Sean's home studio along with 2 other models and another photographer (Jack Russell), the day was super busy but so much fun, I got to work with two beauts models which is kind of new to me but how Sean set it up really worked well and from what I've seen from the images there's some goodens. Throughout the day Sean made me feel more than welcome and I really enjoyed myself as did everyone else.

From that I've just had my third shoot with Sean, he let me stay at his home studio for an entire weekend and he was an amazing host (although I feel I've gained 10 stone). We shot some insane images in a style I wouldn't normally shoot but I loved what we got and I cant wait to see the images finished. I think the style he has found now is amazing and I'm so pleased I'm a part of it.

Would definitely recommend, all round top guy (who wont be getting rid me of now) Thank you for everything! x

I stumbled across Sean’s studio by pure accident. Planning to work with a model on tour who said in passing she was able to shoot from where she was staying. Fate sure was looking out for me that day. I would not have had it any other way.

I have worked in “commercial” studios offering FAR less than Sean does, there are as many props and potential there as there is natural light. Sean is the perfect host, so welcoming, accommodating, unobtrusive, and generally a top guy all round

I have so many ideas left unexplored and cant wait to revisit him. Very reasonably priced and fully loaded this place is a gold mine, stop reading this rubbish and get booking him up – you won’t regret it.

Sean runs a very well setup home studio, with great props. He is the first photographer I have worked with who has grasped the most important thing is having a happy and relaxed model, well looked after!

He even knocked up bacon sandwiches!

Sean hosted me for 5 amazing days while I was in the UK. It was very fun and welcoming stay, can't wait to come back in March! :)

Sean is very professional, easy going and always strive to get the picture he desires. He is very inspired to create really nice captures and does his best to do the every detail perfect. Sean always asks if I like the pictures and is it what I am looking for, and that is really nice. It was very easy to get into the pace, time flew by really fast, so it means that the photoshoot was very interesting.

He is a very progressive photographer and I would recommend him 110%! You will get an amazing pictures from Sean and also a very fun photoshoot!

Jack Russell

Sean invited me to his well equipped home studio to shoot and offer tutelage to him. For the limited time with camera in hand Sean is meticulous and passionate about what he wants to achieve, almost to the point of being too self-critical. That said, he is producing some extremely good quality work beyond many of his peers with greater experience. Once Sean develops, and relaxes into, his own style I can only see him going from strength to strength.

His hospitality and hosting are generous and very much appreciated, he is also respectful not only of the models he works with, but the entire team, ensuring all of their comforts are met.

For any photographers looking for a great venue to shoot at, Sean has a good range of equipment and space to do so from in his home studio. I will certainly be looking forward to visiting Sean again in the not too distant future, and would like to see him become successful beyond his current frustrations, I'm sure that will come in time.

On a personal level Sean is personable, polite, respectful and the perfect host... I'd have no hesitation recommending him.

I had the opportunity to work with the lovely Sean again! He invited me to be part of a great team, photographers Jack Russell and Sean himself, makeup artist Pierangela - shooting for a trio model shoot. It's been such a pleasure working with this team, we've done so many different stuff. As always, Sean was a great host. Prepared for anything and he looks after everyone individually.

I keep saying it, but mean it from the bottom of my heart - 110% Highly recommended! I can't get enough of working with Sean. And we'll definitely be shooting again! As I said before, he's not only an amazing photographer. He also became a really close and dear friend.

Would I work with Sean again ? Hell yeah ! I've just got back from a shoot which involved models Sara Hafez , NikaMo and Jenny o'Sullivan and photographer Mr. Russell .

Sean is not just a great talent as is evident from his port , Sean is a fine host with an exceptional respect for his models this for me is of key importance when working with a photographer and something I hone in on instantly and it is for this reason I give Sean110% recommendation ! His company is a pleasure to be in and his host skills are difficult to match Sean cares as much about getting a great shot as he does about how the model likes the images and how comfortable everyone is .. Without a doubt I will be working with Sean again and looking fwd to seeing the results from today's shoot . Thank you Sean and much respect :-)

We feel really lucky to get to work with this talented guy, more then just a skilled photographer-Sean is one of the most decent guys you could wish to meet. Had a shoot with SMP on Sunday.

Sean has produced some wicked pictures of Nix during two or three recent shoots so I was very much looking forward to working with him.

Bang on pre shoot communication took place and then a Pinterest board was shared amongst us so we all knew the plan before the day of the shoot.

On arrival I was made to feel very welcome at his home, like I'd been there hundreds of times! Sean is very easy to get on with and has a great sense of humour, by the time you start shooting your totally relaxed and feel like your in the presence of a mate rather than in a work setting.... Having said that, Sean also approaches his work with absolute professionalism and is very clear on what he wants to achieve... This is a combination that few manage to achieve.

I am very much looking forward to working with Sean again and would also welcome him round ours anytime. A definite recommendation to all.

I shot with Sean last week. Even thought his portfolio speaks for himself, I' d like to say that he's a real talent. He has a special eye for beauty and femininity. He' s lovely with his models, and he likes to prepare delicious food for them and be sure that they feel comfortable.

I'm really looking forward to see him again in Italy in November.

This was my first time at SMP.

At all times I have found him conscientious, honest, courteous, person.

Time to time he made sure that photographers and models are looked after well. He has an excellent communication skills. In addition, he is extremely organized, reliable and true pro. His studio has multiple sets to choose from. I highly recommend Sean Munro Photography.

I worked under the gentle direction of Sean today with the charming Nix Brown in Sean's studio (in his house).

Sean is very easy to work with, he knows what he wants and gives excellent direction, and also leaves much room to the models' own ideas.

That shoot was relaxed and fun and at the same time Sean tried every possible light or angle until he was completely satisfied.

His models are treated like Kings and Queens and his of welcoming them has not many equivalents in this industry!

I also particularly appreciated that Sean and Nix gave me the chance to work in a style of pictures that I didn't really think accessible for me. A special thanks for that guys!
